SAVE Halsin & Minthara: The Rite of Thorns Method in Baldur's Gate 3

- We show you how to recruit Halsin & Minthara by triggering the Rite of Thorns in Act 1. While this way of glitching the story is easier than turning Minthara into a sheep, success depends on doing the steps in the video in order or thing will go badly for the drow and archdruid. This worked late in October 2023 after patch 3 and hotfix 9.

What happens if you talk to minthara after convincing Halsin to go to camp post rite of thorns?
Nothing good. If you tell her the location of the grove after the Rite of Thorns that makes her and a Goblin army hostile near the Grove. Nothing can be gained with getting close to her in act 1.
it's hard to say if you can get away with killing Gut AND Razglin in the goblin camp. The problem is ... as soon as you kill Razglin, Minthara become hostile, i'm not sure if you can still pull this off with her being hostile but you can definitely try :P
U don’t need to kill any Goblin leaders. You can definitely kill Gut if you are sneaky. If Min is hostile reload or just avoid attacking her and proceed to Shadow Cursed lands.

A demo would have been nice. Because the steps are kind of complicated.
You want a longer video. There is not much demand for that. Try rewatching it with a pencil and paper.

It is very much dependent on the ordering and rarely do folks trigger the Druid/Teifling conflict without stealing the idol or killing Khaga. Both ways of triggering it will stop the Rite of Thorns. I suspect you could trigger the grove closure by taking Khaga’s hit on Zevlor but you would lose Wyll and Karlach, doing it. Closing the Grove by traveling act 2 or mountain pass (without killing Minthara) kills Halsin.
