    I just ordered the HM130max on the trailer today with the Power lift. I just saw your channel now and saw this one too. Very nice!!! Can’t wait to see the power feed!
    I sold my RS31G sawmill yesterday and went with the woodland. Seems to be a very well built mill. I’m pretty excited!!

      Congratulations! I am sure you will enjoy sawing logs into lumber. Actually really rewarding. There is a bit of a wait on the PowerLift and PowerFeed. It looks like the PowerFeed MIGHT be shipping in a month or so and I know that there is a backlog that needs to be shipped out first. But that will give you time to set up your new mill and get familiar with it. Thanks for watching and let us know how your milling goes.

      @@mylifedeliberately they said everything was in stock and ready to ship.. So….hopefully…. it will all come together at once.
      I just got done milling 3500 linear board feet for my mini cabin build in the fall with the mill I just sold. You can scroll through and see the leentoo and bed I milled up with my previous mill I think you may get a kick out of them. It takes time for sure but it’s some rewarding when you see what you can accomplish.

    I would like to see how the iPad interface works with the power feed. For now, it seems a bit redundant since you are standing in front of the control panel as you push the saw through the log. Thanks for the video!

      I am also looking forward to trying the iPad with the PowerFeed. Should be interesting.

      How long ago did you order it?

      It has been a long wait, I agree. I talked to Tony yesterday and it looks like they may be shipping soon. Fingers crossed.

      @@mylifedeliberately Honestly having a hard time with the lack of communication with Tony. I ordered my power lift and feed back in November.

      I am sorry to hear that. I am not affiliated with EpicSaw (I just think he has a great product). I am also still waiting for my PowerFeed. I know he has a backlog and is working on it. If I talk to him again I will mention your comment. Thanks for watching!

    Smooth update. When milling your own dimensional lumber is there any advantage to sticking to today's common dimensions, other than yield, or would it be nice to go back to full 2"x4" dimensions for example ?

    • @mylifedeliberately
      @mylifedeliberately  7 днів тому +1

      My thinking is that if you plan to use only your lumber than you can use any size you want. If you think you may have to run to the big box store to get more lumber to finish a project than it is best to mill to common dimensions otherwise you could run into issues. Thanks for watching.

      Also, if you are going to be using any store bought brackets they are designed for the common lumber sizes now.
