    I’ve had an LX 55 for about three years now and I love . Mostly mill pine and cedar down here in south central Matagorda County. Have milled some lumber for customers. I like how you put the 8” crossbeams under the long ones to get it higher. Mine is also on 8”x8”-15’ beams I plan on putting 8” crossbeams under it to go higher. You’ll like it!!

    We just got the LX50 Super, so I searching peeps using it. We are putting it together now and what a pain lol. We built a slightly elevated concrete slab for it. We will be posting vids on our channel also. Thanks for sharing and best of luck with all your successes.

    I have a 2021 model super lt40 with command control and all the options and I love it. I also have an eg100 board edger i love it also. I think woodmizer makes excellent products. I have never ran any of the small manual mills but it looks like a bunch of hard work but I can see where one would pay off using it on your own projects. I can't imagine how you could produce enough lumber to make a profit selling it.

    Nice! Woodmizer is a good company to deal with. Parts(you probably wont need any for a while) a a call and a couple days away. I sure like my LT40 Hydraulic mills.

    I have the timbery M120, which is the same as a LX-55, great saw ,I have cut a mountain of lumber with it , great saw!

      I also made two modifications that made a world of difference, The first is I added a vent to the water tank because it would get an air lock and would stop flowing. I put a regular tire valve stem in it and that solved that problem. The second is I cut the grids out of the discharge vent because the sawdust would get hung up there and wouldn’t come out so I removed the grids from the discharge port and that fixed that problem.

    • @thomasgardner5872
      @thomasgardner5872 Рік тому

      @@wallacefarmandsawmill I had to adjust the rollers , and I spray the felt pad with silicon before everyday of cutting ; also as the track wears it gets easier , but I can push mine with about two fingers pressure.

    • @wallacefarmandsawmill
      @wallacefarmandsawmill  Рік тому

      @@thomasgardner5872 I’m finding that currently it seems hard to push through the cut. It rolls freely on the track without a cut. Any thoughts?

    • @thomasgardner5872
      @thomasgardner5872 Рік тому

      @@wallacefarmandsawmill sounds like the blade may not be parallel to log deck, I would check with the metal bar they provide , to ensure parallel to log deck ,I had to adjust that , other than that the blade style may not be suited to saw. Are you experiencing that in hardwood and soft? To me it sounds like an adjustment issue but honestly I am not sure , …

    I have a 2013 HM 126 and it's getting a little long in the tooth. I never liked the lift mechanism and I've never been able to cut straight boards out of really hard hardwoods like honey locust and hedge. I've recently gotten access to a lot of black walnut and white oak and I'm tempted to try a woodmizer to see if I have any better luck as I'd hate to ruin the black walnut due to the mill. Looking forward to seeing more from you while using your new mill.

    Way faster than the 15 eh!!!! You need the log deck and greenchain next. Your edger boards can pile up at end of greenchain to be fed after enough is there to warrant firing it up!!

    Advice needed. My can’t ends are square but middle I lose 1/8 on all side. Sawmill is level in every direction. No matter what rungs I put log same thing happens

      Good morning there buddy. I run a string from ended to end. I put a 9/16 nut down on the end bunks and see if another nut will slip under the string on each bunk. I don’t have a laser level so this is fast and easy for me. Couple minutes and off I go straight flat lumber. My mill is on a trailer and has 8 legs.
