    I added a splash of oat milk and a few walnuts and cinnamon - My new go to breakfast . Yummy!

      I do this but like she said whatever is in the fridge & pantry. Changing up the variety with 3 or 4 items (I balance it out) will insure a balance in nutrition (or whatever your body's needs are that week)! throughout the week.

    I ate oatmeal and cheerios as a kid all the time. In my 20’s and 30’s I rebelled, refused to eat them. Now I have come full circle. Yumm I cannot get enough cheerios and oatmeal. I love how you made yours, definitely going to try that.

      @@sadraolaedo4733I know your comment is a year old. But treat it as salt. Cream cheese is okay. Not horrible but adding a little bit into your oatmeal as a treat is totally fine. You need some saturated fats in your diet.

      Boiling water works just fine. Boil, stir until done to a texture you like, and eat.
      It really needs some salt added.
      Or you can cook with the water and add cream on top....Or fruit... or stir in some peanut butter.....and jelly...
      I like mine with butter, salt and cinnamon.

    This was my breakfast today .. keeping me full until lunch 😊 with water is ok, but with milk is better. The texture is more creamy

      @@beastaslayer1411 I usually add teaspoon of chia seeds and nuts (Almonds + walnuts) , you can add flax seeds if you want and any kind of fruits

    I also make mine with water, I blend my oats up first so they are creamy in the water . It also helps my gut digest them . I add thawed frozen blueberries 🫐 honey or maple syrup, ground hemp flax chia sesame sunflower and pre soaked pumpkin seeds. (Menopause ) 😂…
    2 chopped pre soaked walnuts
    It’s soooooo good

    Just made it with milk and crunchy peanut butter, raw honey, banana, added some canella and mct oil and it was really good❤next time will try with cocoa powder too...after that may try other variations depending what fruits or addings i have...the small crunches in the peanut butter are really good...next time will try with walnuts too...please write what other addings might be nice to try too😊

    Overnight oats always better and fast for me the next day.. easy and doesn't need a microwave. I also always put any milk than plain water

    If you’re going to eat porridge, for extra creaminess add required proportion of oats and liquid (I use half water half milk) and a pinch of salt, then just bring it to the boil (stirring constantly). Cut the heat and leave overnight. Reheat in the microwave and it’s utterly delicious. Nice with fruit and the rest but no sugar or sweetening needed.

    Feta cheese with well with marmelade...both Salt and sweet with porridge also remember drink lemon-water and (mineral water) enough liquids

    I make oatmeal for breakfast everyday since my weight loss journey.. and you can make it way more tastier and flavourful than this😭 I used to make it like this, but it’s boring and bland. But if that’s how you like it, then perioddd

    Tip put some protein powder in it makes it thicker and taste a lot better & is so low calorie not even a whole scoop just a little does it a whole scoop can be too flavourful. I use chocolate makes it so nice

    Fruits like banana and apples can oxidize if kept overnight, add them in the morning. Fruits like kiwi, strawberry berry, mangoes or grapes can stay intact, if chopped and added, for longer durations.
    You can add few spoonfuls of yoghurt in the morning with fruits to add dose of probiotics which will take care of your digestion as well. Enjoy your cold soaked oats. Probably, the best breakfast for morning summers.

    Personally I mash the banana into a purée and mix it in with the oats while it’s warm. Sooo good ! It’s a game changer !

    As far as i know chia seeds should never br heated. Soak this in fridge overnight for more nutritional value.

    I like my oatmeal, warm and porridgy, cooked with a touch of coconut milk and mildy spiced. Fruit I have separately, as a smoothie with soaked nuts, seeds, dates and honey.

    I use both water and milk...himalaya salt...becel margarin...peanut butter...honey or cain sogar...with porridge changes...1) boiled egg...apple slices...turkey slices 2) banana and cottage cheece 3) yogurt and berries brazilian nuts 4) marmelade and drink milk / tea or coffee
