You just inspired me to play this masterpiece again. Earned yourself a sub, my guy. Great video, thanks! 😁
You can cheese the final boss with a catapult positioned just out of it's tether range, I used the gate just south east of. Or if you're a micro god, you can cheese with archers on two sides; when he gets to one side retreat until he walks to the other.
One thing I like about this game is that Petraboluses can fit on Transport Ships, and armies can fit on petraboluses. This lets you send like, three boats and an escort, and then have a full army and siege towers pop up on the enemy shores.
i think you meant helepoli
@@itsmesnacks SIEGE TOWERS, sheesh.
You would cripple yourself against the mighty powers of the gods?
Nerd: Sounds more like a skill issue to me.
But the gods can summon pests, raise civilizations from nothing and shoot lightning from their fingers-
Dr Membrane decapitating the ocean across the world: *_NOT SCIENTIFICALLY POSSIBLE!_*
I never even considered a run like this, would never do it myself and am extatic that you did this 😊 thanks for an epic tale
Imagine being an Atheist when an actual god decimates your armies.
"That proves nothing!"
Something like the Dwemers in Elders scroll... they KNOW that gods exist, refuse to worship any and even mock them... they literally prank one, Azura if im not mistaken.
i imagine in a world where you can see the gods in front of your face being an atheist means that you see gods as problem that must be "fixed"
“Huh, must be really bad weather”
Son of Osiris zaps an entire army :
"must have been the wind"
Very nice. Thank you for the upload.
As an Atheist this is exactly how i describe to people how they should play this game
What a great video ❤ now you have to make one for Atlantis, The Golden Gift and Reginleif’s rally 😂
"you see, poseidon has a preset kill-limit. knowing his weakness i sent wave after wave of my own men at him, until he reached his limit and shut down. Jason! show them the medal i won." -Arcantos
This is it. This is your masterpiece alright both in writing and concept. What a ride this video was.
You know, when being poseidon, he gives you a hippocampus for free, so you're screwed.
You can just delete the hippocampus whenever it spawns
Of course you can. This was how I played it as a kid. For some reason.
Not so mighty gods when they have hit points.
Not gonna lie, drowning the enemy's myth units, heroes and buildings in just giant armies of regular men and siege weapons is pretty cool
(also, something, something indomitable human spirit)
27:14 "But Zeus wal loose (Leus) and I had no control over the situation" Sums up Greek/Roman lore pretty well.
I love your channel but don't play Starcraft... I do however, LOVE AOM, so this has made my Saturday!!!!
Lmao, thanks for calling out the strat at 36:00, the new physics are so good
I attempted this exact same playthrough when I got this game more than 20 years ago, and gave up after just a few days. Bravo to you sir, for showing us armatures how a real RTS enthusiast gets $h!t done.
I loved the pig puns, Grant. Never change!
Oh my god you absolute MAD LAD
a new main channel video?
"LOOKS LIKE MEAT'S BACK ON THE MENU BOYS!"!!!
Age of Science.
At the conclusion of his epic quest, Arkantos was rewarded by being made a god in his own right...the god of atheism.
They turned Arkantos into Dawkins. Funniest thing I’ve ever seen
that title notification made me laugh out loud
Watching hour long challenge videos for games I've never seen and don't understand is my favorite pastime.
I see title of this, and I immediately thought, “Yep, that’s another Grant challenge alright.” 🤣
This is singlehandedly the most creative and entertaining aom content I've ever watched
Ah yes. Beating back the gods with the power of 2012 le reddit memes and science youtubers who somehow also end up beefing with each other over US politics. The true challenge run.
Atheists during that time were from all walks of life. It's no surprise that so many of them disagreed. For example, you have your secular humanist types who are all about progressivism, and then you have the people who (generally) hate Islam SPECIFICALLY with a burning fury. I'm just shocked it took so long to collapse!
