Those probabyly have lead paint so wear a repertory with charcoal filters and cotton covers ..use brush on paint stripper then get the rest with a small sandblaster prime and paint or let rust a bit and clearcoat.. your welcome.
Yes, I have the exact set and I took a wire brush with my drill after putting paint remover on it took off as much as I could, and all the detail small areas are used to Dremel tool to take all the paint off
Makes me mad that I didn't get to keep my mother's little chair just like that one. We always painted it when we painted the house. We also had matching railing and fence on the front porch we had it on. My sister was in such a big rush to sell everything I didn't really get a chance to save it.
found one chair curbside for free.. just like your small one. I could tell multiple layers of paint were on it and I was going to steel brush it and then give it a spray can overhaul... but it was so intricate that I knew I wouldn't be happy with my final results. I took it to a place, and I was surprised how inexpensive it was to have it sandblasted and powder coated and colored in one and I picked it up today (11Jan2023)... it is Beautiful. I spoke with the guy that sandblasted the chair and he said there was 6 layers of paint. A lot of detail within the grapes and leaves are now even more noticeable. I can't wait to surprise my mom with it
Amazon has a attachment for about 35.00 that turns your power washer into a sandblaster. I will be trying it. Im hearing it works pretty good. I will be doing the same wrought iron set. It has years of paint buildup on it. Will let you know how it goes. 😁

How inexpensive? I just received a set. It’s not rusted but the paint is really chipped away.
