Cast Iron Bench Renovation - Creating A Beautiful Garden Feature - How To

Hi All!
It's been a while, but thought I'd take you along my process for renovating these old bench ends that were literally salvaged from the scrap heap! Hopefully, it'll help a few of you out there to enjoy your garden a little more this summer! I actually own the exact same bench as this! I painted all the individual details on the bench with hammerite, currently doing this at my men in sheds club to sell.

Hi Joe I’ve got the same bench ends and restoring these myself. Did you use different widths on the wooden slats for where it curves on the top and bottom slats or did go for a 50mm width on all the slats

Hey Pete! I used the same sized slats all the way round, it was a little tight in those corners but seems to be the way they were made! Hope the resto goes well!
