If you want an actual insane cover, dimmu borgir did a cover of burn in hell by twisted sister; primal fear did a cover of speed king by deep purple; children of bodom did a cover of lookin out my back door by creedence clearwater revival; deathstars did a cover of white wedding by billy idol; dragonforce did a cover of ring of fire by johnny cash; okay i guess i came up with more than one lmao
Children Of Bodom also did a cover of Aces High, and the Peter Tagtgren band Pain did a cover of The Beatles song Eleanor Rigby.

Robert Plant said if you’re gonna make a cover make it your own, and they put their own spin on it and it was pretty cool.what’s funny I just listen to it after watching this video. Ghost is just a case of false advertising. They look like a Swedish or Norwegian black metal band but sound more like ABBA than Mayhem.

Got to say Opeths cover of Iron Maidens remember tomorrow is one of the best covers ever, and they did a cover from Alice in Chains, would, which I think is a phenomenal cover as well.
Alot of these covers are just metal bands playing rock songs, rather than making them metal. Crowbars cover is a great metal version though

@@itookallthenames not only has there never been a good cover of Bohemian Rhapsody, there's never been a good live performance of Bohemian Rhapsody, period! Not even by Queen! Even they fell back on the studio recording, especially during the operatic part. That's why I thought it was funny that OP implied that BTBAM sucked because he didn't like a clip of a potato recording of a rare live performance of a cover of a song that is so hard to perform live that not even the original band did it.
