Hmm; yes but they are still awesome, they love provocation, and mocking about how some persons think about them. They are pervers, but no more. Also no all the songs of Rammstein are disturbing,
Really surprised the Korn song wasn't "Daddy", which is about John Davis himself being molested by a babysitter and his parents not believing him. Real fucked up shit.
It’s “Disturbing Songs People Love”. Its weird if somebody likes a song that has a guy crying during the second half & is about his experience with CSA.
So many songs here that were a part of my 'coming of age'. They gave voice and projection to the years when I became angry with the things I disagreed with, felt frustrated by the limitations due to my age and parental control and struggled with who and how I saw myself and wanted to be. These songs and so many others like them are the reason I'm still alive today.
@@thevoid9182 the vocalist for the band was repeatedly raped as a kid by his baby sitter and his parents didn't do anything about, I think "daddy" was one of her pet names she called him while she was assisting him.
Lead singer was sexually abused as a child and his parents didn’t believe his story of the incident. I’ve heard a short bit of that song and you can feel _genuine pain_ in his voice.
Iowa by slipknot is literally about a man who kidnaps women kills them chops them into pieces and stitches them together to create a Frankenstein style monster...why did this not get on may I ask?
Daddy - Korn: Much more disturbing than the one chosen or :Mr.Roger - Korn: Both talk about Johnathon's rape experiences. Both talk about how people don't believe him. Hell even Thoughtless talks about depression, suicidal thoughts, and school shooting.
Harles Bently Actually surprising Mr. Rogers is not about him being raped as a child. It's actually about Jon being drunk off his ass and wrote a song about taking all his hate out on Mr. Rogers (from Mr. Rogers Neighborhood) for not protecting him when he was being bullied in school. It's still pretty disturbing just with it a concept. It would be even more disturbing if it was about his actual neighbor, not gonna lie.....
That's what I was looking for here, but I guess in the context of the others that were based on true stories, it kinda falls apart, being entirely fictional (to my knowledge)
I do believe people are allowed to share why they hate music like this.... But I also believe people have the right to listen to whatever they wanna hear. Without unwanted feedback or opinions. I love all these Jams nothing is sickining
But to be fair, the descriptions they give are extremely simplistic. sentences can mean a lot more than what you hear/read. Literal meaning is overrated.
To be fair, most, if not all, of Korn's songs are disturbing, whether it's the sound or lyrical subject. Daddy, Dead Bodies Everywhere [most disturbing, in my opinion], Make Me Bad, Blind, Divine, Here to Stay, Falling Away From Me, the list goes on. So it's tough to choose just one.
I remember watching the Bud Dwyer suicide on TV when I was little I was about 7 years old we were off school that day for snow..20 years later they found out he wasn't guilty!😕😐
Over 30 years ago, at the 1st ever deathfest, in Detroit, a preist was walking around passing out flyers for christianity. My friend who was the bassist for Lucifers Hammer was talking to Glenn Benton (Deicide) and the preist approached him and asked "would you like to be saved?" While handing him a pamphlet. Glenn knocked all the pamphlets outta his hand and groweled "save YOURSELF, fuck!"
There are too many comments about this so let me explain while yes many korn fans including myself love that song this list is about mainstream rock/metal songs every one loves and can jam out to daddy isn’t that it’s really disturbing but not many people can jam out to it and I don’t know anyone who isn’t a korn fan and likes that song but I do know plenty of people who don’t like korn and love falling away from me
I mean, Weisses Flesch is pretty much about a boy who goes to school and kills everyone before offing himself off, also the only Rammstein songs I heard that were harmless were "Amerika" (which is pretty much a satirical song about Americanization) and "Sonne" (which is pretty much is an entrance song written for Ukrainian boxer Vitali Klitschko). But the rest are pretty questionable on lyrical content
I love how Nine Inch Nails was only there because it was graphically describing a sex scene while literally everything else was about rape or suicide or other stuff like that.
Llama Queen They should have picked the song La Mer by NIN. That was actually written when Trent was about to suicide. Or the Great Below, as a reflection to what he was going through at that point.
Think you forgot the "People Love" part of the video title. Falling Away From Me is more well known than Daddy. I do agree though that Daddy is far more disturbing!
Dudes, the guy in the lyrics of "One" is a soldier, and he lost his limbs and senses because of war. If you do not see that, it changes de whole meaning of the song.

@@randomvideos20226 tbh I don't always understand the lyrics, it's often just gibberish to me and it takes me either years to understand it or googling the lyrics 😆
Marilyn Manson only focused on the columbine massacre because people blamed his music for it and that made Manson get depressed and even canceled the rest of his tour and went to talk to the children that survived the shooting.
If you take Disposable Teens as Manson showing approval for Columbine, you've never bothered to see the meaning behind the lyrics. No, it's not always literal; 'survived abortion' is probably a metaphor about a mistake that wasn't meant to exist.
Ik a lot of people who like songs strictly based on the beat but for me, as a musician and also the fact that I was a victim of abuse my entire childhood, I fall in love w both; the lyrics and beat together as a whole. I love how you can get so wrapped up in a song that you forget about everything else for that moment. I don’t know how I would have managed w/o music in my life, Hell…I still feel that way! One by Metallica will always be one of my all time favorites. I think people should realize what has, does, and will go on in war as well as the aftermath. Also, the beat is amazing. Actually, most of this list like Papa Roach and SOAD, are some of my all time favorite bands. Most songs that have disturbing lyrics are based on either the singer’s lives or the lives of someone they know. They are just letting their feelings out and when you feel what they’re trying to say….well then you know it is an overwhelming sensation.
in an interview in late 93 he explained that he wrote thise lyrics just to be as obvious as he can be in his lyric writing. in that interview he said that some people think its about the media or record labels and he said outright that it has nothing to do with it.

Not every Rammstein song "Du Hast", "Ohne Dich", "Fruling in Paris" are beautiful songs, Rammstein is a splendid group who just love provocation.

Because the genre of brutal death metal exists. That’s completely tame to that entire group of bands.

The korn song isn't daddy?
To be fair, most, if not all, of Korn's songs are disturbing, whether it's the sound or lyrical subject. Daddy, Dead Bodies Everywhere [most disturbing, in my opinion], Make Me Bad, Blind, Divine, Here to Stay, Falling Away From Me, the list goes on. So it's tough to choose just one.
Dirk I see you
I remember watching the Bud Dwyer suicide on TV when I was little I was about 7 years old we were off school that day for snow..20 years later they found out he wasn't guilty!😕😐
MissN Perfection I can’t imagine what seeing that at 7 was like
What bothers me about that most was him trying to make sure that people who worked for him got paid the money they were owed before killing himself.
The fact that he killed himself and then later on it's found that he was corrupt as the description states
Glenn knocked all the pamphlets outta his hand and groweled "save YOURSELF, fuck!"
grats
I feel like for Korn "Daddy" would have been a better choice
“Songs people love” ...not that one
There are too many comments about this so let me explain while yes many korn fans including myself love that song this list is about mainstream rock/metal songs every one loves and can jam out to daddy isn’t that it’s really disturbing but not many people can jam out to it and I don’t know anyone who isn’t a korn fan and likes that song but I do know plenty of people who don’t like korn and love falling away from me

But the rest are pretty questionable on lyrical content
Don't forget about the beloved song "DOA" by Bloodrock.

I love how even Loudwire knew that Rape me Didn't need an explanation..
