When I was deployed, the EOD guys were some of the craziest, funniest, full of life guys I'd ever met. I had no idea lock picking was part of their skill set though, but I guess that makes sense now that I think about it. That would be an awesome set from both a practical use standpoint or a simple collector standpoint.
Hmmm, so my question is, did a certain retired master EOD accidentally get his agency outed in this video, or was it some clever disinformation? If so I was fooled, my money would have been elsewhere. Anyway, great vid as usual but I don't think that slim-jim is long enough for the beast.

I am a firefighter/EMT and thats why I became as interested in lock picking as I am, Thanks to your videos I have been able to become slightly more familiar with locks and how they work. Definitely need more practice though. Although I'll never win, would be a good kit to have in my line of work!! Keep up the videos!
As a 28 years military 19 years and counting EOD tech I have used picks a few times, but have not spent the time required to get good at it. I just order this kit and will spend the time need to improve my skills. Thanks for the info brother.

EOD. Nice looking set. I'm a paramedic and frequently respond to lifeline alarms (I've fallen and can't get up) and typically the doors are locked. You have helped me save precious time getting to these people and precious money avoiding the alternative (forced entry).
We've long known you were EOD at one point, but it is good to hear you talk about it. It must be difficult to talk about when so much is classified. Also, that's a really nice kit.
@ David Folsom. I agree with part of your comment. Yes massive destruction if it's an emergency, IE fire unresponsive person. However for Gaining access to rooms to reset fire alarms I've picked many locks, with a bogota ti wallet set. the building manager has thanked us for not destroying his locks, or doors.
I've been a fan for a while and am thrilled to find out you're a fellow tech... Graduated NAVSCOLED in 2012. Greatest job/experience I've ever had or been a part of. Initial success or total failure.
By the way Bill, I have worked in sheet metal for over 30 years. Stainless steel, has some iron in it, the coating is what makes stainless shine. If you stick a magnet to it will attract. Stay safe. 🤔

This set is one of Sparrow's better sets, third in line of their best sets, very useful for assessments as well as EOD work. Great buy.

I am a OIF veteran and I worked with the EOD as an 11b(infantry) watching them blow up IEDs... pretty crazy. they saved our lives many times.
