Bill I just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work. Ive always wanted to learn to pick locks but never had the time or drive until i found your channel (plus helps im out of work due to some injuries while I was on active duty). 3 days in and able to spp a master #3. Keep up the awesome iob!
I really like that offset hybrid pick. I also need to buy a worm. You are so right about them being narrow for tight slots. Love the tension wrenches. Been making a lot of my own tension wrenches. No top of the key way tensioners is a drawback.
Good work on the production of your videos man. Been watching g for roughly 4 hours or so. Well spoken, good viewer focus, you actually keep up with you viewers. Thumb up all around . I'll be going through your videos and subscribed.
Bill always confuses the Euro and the standard hook. The Euro has a slight dip before the hook goes up, the standard doesn't - the wider point is the standard, the narrow point is the Euro. The dip is what makes the Euro special. To be fair, they do look really similar, but I don't think I've seen a video that Bill hasn't confused them
Yeah, I was going to say, wasn't the one with the needle like thin tip the Euro hook? I could be wrong but who knows... I wish the pictures on Sparrow's website were more ...I dunno, detailed? It's hard to do any differentiation. Even with their close-up shots of the picks.
+Lockpick Guy they do explicitly describe the dip on the Euro hook, and there's no mistaking the dip vs. non-dip in this video. I ordered a bunch of medium hooks from sparrows, all of them have the wider tip - the only Euros I have came with sets and have the pointier tip. Sometimes it is tough to tell which has a dip and which doesn't - it's a very small feature - but you can tell in this video which is which by the dip alone

just got the night school training set and i wish it would have come in that case!! might email sparrows and see if they will sell me just the case with my next order.
Firstly, I appreciate the videos. I am a 'meat and potatoes' kind of guy, and as such your utilitarian your production style appeals to me. In this video I am fairly certain you mixed up Sparrows' short hook and their Euro hook. I don't even know if anyone cares, what with the video being almost a year old...feel free to disregard if I am indeed wrong.
I love of bill you speak like you had to work a government or military job at some point with public educated coworkers lol. Either that or you must of ate a lot of Salisbury steak of a moving tray.
Just remember, If you buy your own 301 high yield blanks from Ebay, you get to position the blank the correct way to take advantage of the memory effect of cold rolled steel. From testing the Sparrows that I have, they do not even make sure that the picks are oriented correctly, so it’s random luck, you might get a good strong pick, or you might get one where your regular picking style, badly bends the pick, making it only a matter of time till you snap the pick.💪💪💪💪See the Ebay listing to understand why this happens, it is explained at length, how to increase pick performance by a vast margin🥰😉🤣♥️

No, twice could be an accident - I understand that. 20 times....not so much.
Thanks man, I have the memory of a slow goldfish so I forget if I registered or not half the time lol.
Could anyone help me. I was wonder what I should use to polish the picks. The tools I have: 140 to 3000 grit sandpaper and a razerblade.
just got the night school training set and i wish it would have come in that case!! might email sparrows and see if they will sell me just the case with my next order.
