Get PAID to ride my bike?!! I'm in! Especially if my objective is to get to the Sparrows warehouse. Rumor it, they secure their doors with a Kwikset...🙃
@@bosnianbill Oh.. I'm in.. Pick your way to Canadia. From bike to bike.. Legal of course. You would ask permission first. Attach a master-lock to every bike in turn.
I love sparrows picks. feel good work great and i can afford them. thank you Bill for turning me on to such a great company with awesome product right out the pack
I’ve helped a lot of people getting into there dial locks thanks to you and LPL and all your videos, tonight I’ve purchased my first pick set .. thanks guys.!!
Was looking around for a small kit after doing some learning for a while now. I always watch your and LPL's vids. This kit was still around 2020 from UKlockpickers! Thanks alot for demoing the kit. Cheers
Hey Bill, sometimes i'll use that cross hatching on those pry bars to remove sharp edges or burs from my picks after a lot of use. Idk if that's what it's there for, but it's nifty.
I have to say im leary of the shortness of these but i know they put out superior products and i trust your judgement so am considering ordering a set. Thanks bb!
Very interesting approach to an ergonomic handle. Can't wait to see what they think of next. Maybe next time they name their set after an invertebrate and have a jelly handle! Ha!
Love the videos Bill. I randomly discovered your channel about 3 weeks ago. I clicked on a video just for the hell of it. Next thing I knew I was subscribed and have watch too many of your videos to count. I'm definitely going to have to give this lock sport thing a try. It looks like so much fun.
Just ordered the nightcrawler and a small set of Bogota picks from UKbumpkey. As one who carries a large assortment of edc, I needed a smaller set than my tuxedo. I tend to be a faithful customer to good companies. Olight and Sparrows seem to get lots of my dough.
I have to wonder if anyone has suggested to Sparrows that a couple of the spined Nightcrawler Rakes' handles could be fashioned as comb picks. I know it cuts into their Comb 45 sales, but it might be an idea to look into.
I just got a night crawler and am very pleased with it, the spines on the handles may be a bit uncomfortable for long sessions but they work really well. for some reason the short hook will zip a masterlock faster than any other short hook I have and the other picks work as well.
I was thinking that. I'm already using the comparable picks from Banggood (my starter set), and wish I had some flat bars or more hook diversity. I'd sooner get the Spirit or (more likely) Lawlock Valerian.
I do like Sparrows stuff. The Praxis kit from ukbumpkeys is my day to day go to kit but I keep a sparrows bomba royale handy too and I’m pretty happy with the quality. Just wish they’d ditched the knife and added a worm...
Awesome, I like you are a fanboy of Sparrow stuff and I am not ashamed to say this lol. Those new products look interesting I only wish I had some extra $$ to pick up a set. Good job sir.
Sparrows do have excellent stuff, I also like Southord kits as well. I tend to mix & match from both companies, as my needs require. As a Paramedic, we often get called to places where doors are locked and we need to get access without breaking down doors. Great video Bill and thanks for your "trainer" vids as well, a few of us learned good techniques from you.
Leave it to Sparrows once again, to come to the table with some neat, new stuff to make me open my wallet! Excellent review of the new products, and very generous giveaway! Bill, you are sort of like the Santa Claus of locksport with you product giveaways! Thanks as always!
Good thing is you can make that money back easy when you rake into your neighbors house when they are on holiday and steal there cash they have lying around.
I've been eyeing these up and waiting for weeks for the release. I found the listings hidden in their product index page a little bit back, and i even asked them about them. of course they were tight lipped and didnt get back to me on that at first lol. i thought maybe they were discontinued stuff i missed, until i saw the kwikset hex key listing and a picture to go with the slivers on the listing in index with new price. that was a few days ago. since then, i've just been waiting for release to pull the trigger. sadly the scarabs werent available to me. idk if they sold out or arent in stock yet, but ill grab em soon enough. im loving/hating all these releases sparrows sure knows to to separate me from my cash. really excited about the slivers, but worried as well lol still waiting for their christmas ornament to release. hoping scarabs are in by then so i can do it in one order; already made two large orders recently now. cant keep doing that lol

Really liking those night crawlers. Hope I win but if not I will be really tempted to save up a little and go buy this set... Oh, and the scarab is beautiful as well as effective.
I dig the new kit, looks funky and the size is handy.👍🏽The 12 thou kit... I'd just destroy. Lol. Getting super fancy now with the Scarab set! Super cool.🍺😎
The handles on the Nightcrawler set aren't uncomfortable? I'm really tempted to buy a set but it seems like it would be a bit uncomfortable. (And yeah, I realize they're not meant too be used for hours on end. 😏
Really like the knurled tensioners, but not really interested in the short picks. It'd be cool if Sparrows came out with a tensioner set that included these.
Does anyone keep a database on suggestions for certain kinds of locks? I've just started picking. I started, because I own three padlocks with no keys. Two of my padlocks were locked to a very heavy chain. They're all three Masters. The loose one, a No. 3, is the first one I tried, and I can pick that one, the No. 5, which was attached to the chain, no problem. But, I have a No. 220, that I've been working on now for about three hours, and, no luck so far. Any suggestions?
Sparrows is in Pennsylvania now! 2 hrs down the road from me! In the last few years we got Kahr arms literally up the road 20 minutes, now Sparrows moving to PA it’s nice! Now if our governor could stop taxing the ever living shit out of us it’d be great!
Coming up! I went to Home Depot to pick up a new smartlock but they were temporarily sold out. I head over to Lowes and get one, then make a vid of the Hex tool. It looks like fun.
MrRokashans' Meanderings and Misadventures - I dunno. They’re a bit unwieldy for someone in a hurry. More for a badass locksmith looking to make a positive impression on a customer before they get the invoice...
Hi Bill. In this video, you made use of a wooden deadbolt lock holder display, to test the scarab pick, which I also see in mall hardwares? Is this something you make yourself or something you can buy commercially? Does it have a specific product name? Thanks!
Great review Bill but I am questioning the name of the micro kit considering nightcrawlers are normally longer than regular worms I personally would’ve called it the red worm kit sense red worms are normally shorter than regular worms
The handle on the scarab is kind of huge. I must have it but I think I will have to reshape that handle. Aesthetics don't grab my attention in tools. Sometimes they are just in the way.
I think we should start a kickstarter, to get Bill to ride to Canada on a bike. Who is with me?

I finished my Sparrows Tuxedo picks with 150 grit sandpaper first, then I polish the edges with 800 grit emery cloth. It makes them very smooth.

Bill, thank you for all the wonderful videos. Recently started watching your tutorial vids, and love them. Thank you.
Sparrows always made impressive products! Thank you for your very informative video, Sir!
I've found that a good tensioner is unbelievably important. A good top of the keyway tensioner has been a lifesaver.

Great review my friend, The night crawler could use a deep hook also.

Is that a new theme song at the end? Catchy...
Awesome content Bill, I only see one flaw with the Nightcrawler and the sliver kit, no DeForest diamonds. As always, love your videos thank you Bill!
Might have to look into this to take on trips to family on the holidays so I can pick locks 🔒
Great work, Sparrows. Loving these.
The scarab raking didn't actuate the bolt (13:20) even though the key did (12:50).
I think the lock was opened but further rotation was necessary to activate the bolt.
Hey bill.
If you remember I designed the Franken pick and sent you one.
I also sent it to Sparrows... it's now the Scarab.
