@@Beta_Mixes Consider the situation in which a Christian family shelters people belonging to a group targeted by genocide, and must therefore lie to the authorities to keep these people hidden. Is this not an example of an instance where it is permissible for a Christian to intentionally lie as it is done specifically to save the lives of others?
@@abaker4692 Well no, it was still a sin. Just that it was not known to her as such. I also cannot remember if she lied or she said something true to convince the guards to allow her to go and put her in the most optimal position to help the spies. Gosh watching this made me realize how much I sin in one singular day. I've battled pornography addiction for the longest time, and I think the worst part of it is I miss the little slip ups while hyper focusing on the big vice. All while feeling too unclean to turn my eyes back on God and getting back in the saddle. But I realize that this condemnation is a trick of the devil. Every time I fall short and don't withdraw in guilt, God's still small voice is always the one saying, "don't sweat it, dust yourself off and try again." Not to deny the seriousness of sin obviously, but remember the lord loves you and understands what you are going through better than you do. If you are dealing with something, remember that God is with you, has forgiven you, and you are never beyond saving so long as you dust yourself off and try again in earnestness. Brothers and sisters, let's pray for each other, I know I certainly need it.
I’ll be praying for you brother, I’ve also had many problems with pornography last year, but everything will be fine we just have to continue to trust the Lord

Sabbath is the seventh day (Saturday) rather than the first day of the week (Sunday), Luke 23:54-24:1, Exodus 20:9. Also, we’ll always fall short apart from Jesus, but by his grace we’ll gain the victory over sin in our Christian walk. Beyond this, what a blessing this video will be to many 🙏
Yes this video is a lie and a stumbling block. Nowhere was Sabbath rescinded or changed. We observe Sabbath and also Sunday church for fellowship when possible.
@Abysalss I suggest you do more research and re-read the Bible. Sunday is the first day of the week on traditional Hebrew and Christian calendars. The Lord's Day was created to celebrate the resurrection being on the first day of the week. The day of rest, or Sabbath, falls on the last day, that being Saturday. Constantine The Great legislated rest on the pagan holiday of Sunday. Church councils adopted this day as that of rest in the early middle ages. The correct source is always God and his word, not councils or politicians.
For a while now I've been skeptical and scared about what my meaning is on this planet. I allways thought that being Christian was realy hard but recently I've been thinking about changing my life and putting my faith into God. Your videos are entertaing and kinda what's making me feel like changing. I thank you.
You made it very clear and I like it! Especially the 10th commandment. 2 things to note however: - While you recognize that you need Jesus because you fail to obey his laws, you still need to aim for that goal: To not sin. - I'm a Jewish Christian and in Israel we have Saturday as the 7th day of the week, meaning it's Sabbath that day. Anyways, while it's important to keep the Sabbath, I strongly suggest doing it on Saturday because it's more biblical and historically accurate. Yes, I know I sound like I complain about a minor issue. I know that God would still listen to and love you despite what day you keep the Sabbath. I know everyone is on their own journey with God. I'm not trying to look more holy than you. All I want to say is that the Sabbath is actually on Saturday. Just bringing awareness, not arguments. Love you, brothers and sisters in Christ ❤
In Portuguese and Spanish saturday is the seventh day, in our language the word for saturday is the same as sabbath (sábado), and monday is called second market (Segunda Feira) because we consider it the second day of the week, not the first
Seventh Day Adventists among some other Christian denominations are known for advocacy of worshiping on the 7th day Saturday. However, I’m a Catholic, and the reason we worship on the Lord’s Day is because he rose again to new life on the 1st day of the week, Sunday, or what our tradition has called it, the “8th day,” which is meant to suggest the first day of the new covenant.
@@eduardopupucon yeah same thing in Hebrew. The day Sunday translates in Hebrew as "first", Monday means "second", and so on. Except Saturday, in Hebrew it means "[he] rested" or something like that.
Ive been studying Russian and I noticed the word for Saturday is "Subbota" which I thought was curious. I guess that must be because they also have Sabbath on Saturday
You had me until 4:18 where you said it’s a sin to disobey government. Governments are worldly organizations that are created by humans and run by fallible humans. Saying it’s a sin to disobey government is a ridiculous slippery slope of flawed logic. In reality we should stand for what is right and moral by biblical and Christian standards regardless of what our government states. We are ruled by the laws of God which take precedence over any laws made by men. Basically the government can go kick rocks if they wanna tell me what to do.
No, he’s correct. Unless the governing authority is telling you to do something that contradicts God’s Word then Romans 13:1 still stands: ”Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.“ God Bless!
I commit the 8th commandment by stealing money from my parents and I am very ashamed of me and my actions and trying to become a better person and turning to Jesus🙏

Very true. No where in the commandment, or in the rest of the Bible, does it say we need to go to church on the Sabbath. We are just to work 6 days, remember the seventh day, rest on it and keep it Holy. However communal worship is good and does not break the fourth commandment. Where two or three are gathered in God’s name, He is with them.
Amén 🙏 Only a point of clarification, it’s the seventh day of the week rather than the first according to the word of God, Exodus 20:10, Luke 23:54-24:1, Matthew 5:17-19.
If you follow this video then you'll definitely be confused about Sabbath, which is the 7th day or Saturday, not Sunday. Nowhere was Sabbath replaced in the Bible. Beware this channel.
Exactly! I just left a comment about this too and then i noticed your comment scrolling down. It's amazing how many people believe that Sunday is the 7th day when it's not.
Existential fear being a sin is odd. Yes, God does love us all, but that doesn't mean everyone's lives are going to go perfectly and we should never worry about anything. It seems like a very privileged position that ignores how people struggle especially in third world countries.
Jesus and Paul did gave that command so breaking it is a sin. Since he quoted Jesus there, i will quote Paul: Phillipians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. thanksgiving, present your requests to God." I am not denying what you said and i struggle with that daily but we need to treat things as they and the Bible makes clear It is a sin. Hopefully Jesus and Paul also said what we should think/do to deal with It.
Don't forget, things aren't just sins because God said so, they're sins because they're bad for us. Take wrath for example: punching people at the slightest annoyance is bad. Or gluttony: eating yourself into an early grave=bad. Likewise, constantly living in fear and anxiety is bad for us, so God commands us to have a little Faith.
I'm with you on that one. Am I not supposed to be worried about providing for my family? Preserving nature? Or maybe NOT sinning? Humans would still be in the stone age, had them not worried about anything. Doesn't make any sense. Maybe he chose the wrong words and what it actually means is simply not to get anxious about the future: do your best and thrust God.
Because if you are paranoid about the future and are fearful of everything, then you will not improve and your faith in God will deteriorate. Society progresses because those who have courage take charge in making change, not when everyone is too struck with fear to do anything. As an example, my grandfather lifted our family out of poverty even in the face of death, and if he had been fearful of the future and didn’t have faith in God’s plan for his future, he would’ve never taken risks and worked hard to get out of his situation.
Why worry? If you truly have faith in the Lord you’re going to heaven regardless. Even if you’re being tortured now. You’re going straight to heaven if you were to die.
Jesus I am sorry that I hurt you with all the sins I have done and was even unaware of. I am grateful for your presence this year Jesus, for it is you that I am even able to recognize my wrongs and even know that I am truly loved for when I was in a dark place mentally. Thank you for helping me recognize when I have lost sight. I have faith in you and I surrender to you. I love you Jesus my shepherd.
Always know that if you break one rule, you break them all. We can never go off of obedience to works, but by faith and belief in Jesus Christ. That is the only way we are saved. We’re fallen creatures, and we will fail. But through receiving gratitude by the Holy Spirit the works will come.
I thought I was doing pretty well and hadn't broken many of these commandments. After watching this video, I realised I've broken all of them. Well explained
Idolatry is committed, not merely by setting up false gods, but also by setting up false devils; by making men afraid of war or alcohol, or economic law, when they should be afraid of spiritual corruption and cowardice. G K Chesterton

I love your videos! I have studied and practiced spirituality outside the faith for a long time. I like your points that stupidity in the name of dogma is blasphemous. I also appreciate your referencing scripture regarding following the spirit of the law rather than the letter of the law. Christians can get pretty crazy/fearful about issues such as same sex marriage, abortion, divorce, going to church, how to read the Bible, etc. I am coming back to the religion after 20 years to reconsider its ethos with wiser perspectives that I’ve gained from Eastern philosophy and religions. Non-dual thinking and dialectical perspective are helping me to understand the questions, contradictions, and ethical problems that I still have with Christianity as it’s practiced in this age. Wishing encouragement to all on this path!

She wasn't under the Law. Pagans lied (and still do) without conscience. She didn't "sin", per se.
Uncorrect friend, because:
1) She was alive before Jesus
2) That kind situation will not happen to you now that Jesus is in control
@@Beta_Mixes Consider the situation in which a Christian family shelters people belonging to a group targeted by genocide, and must therefore lie to the authorities to keep these people hidden.
Is this not an example of an instance where it is permissible for a Christian to intentionally lie as it is done specifically to save the lives of others?
@@abaker4692
Well no, it was still a sin. Just that it was not known to her as such. I also cannot remember if she lied or she said something true to convince the guards to allow her to go and put her in the most optimal position to help the spies.
Paul talks about how we are all slaves to sin, and the law was meant to show us what is sin. Basically, we all have sinned, because everyone has broken the law.

Gosh watching this made me realize how much I sin in one singular day. I often brush it off as a "not-so-severe-sin" but at the end of the day they're all the same in God's eyes, and one speck of sin can separate us from God. I'm so so grateful that Jesus saved us bc we'll never be good enough to save ourselves. :')

So many times I realized I've prefaced many prayers with "forgive me." I've got stuff I need to work on but I keep forgetting that maybe it's better to preface my prayers with "thank you" as in thank you for your grace and forgiveness.

Sabbath is the seventh day (Saturday) rather than the first day of the week (Sunday), Luke 23:54-24:1, Exodus 20:9. Also, we’ll always fall short apart from Jesus, but by his grace we’ll gain the victory over sin in our Christian walk. Beyond this, what a blessing this video will be to many 🙏
except, the week starts on monday in most countries
This is correct.
@@arkanon8661no it starts on Sunday. That’s why it’s the weekend, because it’s the ends of the week. Also every calendar has Sunday first
Yes this video is a lie and a stumbling block.
May we never take Jesus' forgiveness as a means to sin more.
You made it very clear and I like it! Especially the 10th commandment.
2 things to note however:
- While you recognize that you need Jesus because you fail to obey his laws, you still need to aim for that goal: To not sin.
In Portuguese and Spanish
saturday is the seventh day, in our language the word for saturday is the same as sabbath (sábado), and monday is called second market (Segunda Feira) because we consider it the second day of the week, not the first
Seventh Day Adventists among some other Christian denominations are known for advocacy of worshiping on the 7th day Saturday.

As someone who goes to church every week, keeping the sabbath holy does not mean going to church. They aren’t synonyms.
Yes, but public worship if possible is required.

Jesus christ please have mercy on my soul and cleanse me of my sins
Watching your channel is like attending church everyday for me
