Just bought one last week! LOVE IT!!!
Is it still working
Bought one with 141k a couple weeks ago, great car!
Is it still working
I love this car
Toyota messed up royally with this car, it was clearly a lexus designed car and should have been made a lexus. like an es300 convertible coup, would have sold ALOT more than a camry coupe. If you changed the badge, nobody would know it wasnt a lexus. beautiful car.
Who cares about the badge
@@Pirategod23 I said if you changed the badge nobody would know it wasnt a lexus. It looks like it was designed by the lexus studio in california
I wanted a Lexus. My old boss had one & I had to drive it for him once. It was like driving on clouds....so smooth. This is the next best car, regardless of if they messed up or not. At least I could afford my Solara. :) And I love it!
Definitely beautiful
The second generation of Toyota Solara convertible was styled to echo the Lexus SC430 convertible of the same era......
I can definitely agree!
My sister bought this car from someone and it was a great deal. Bought it for 5.2k with only 60k miles
Perfect deal
now they’re selling them for 8k with 150,000 miles
Awesome, I was debating if I should get this car but now I'm ready to buy one
Hi Adrian, I just got an 08 SLE
with GPS. Love it! Smooth ride and it is easy to speed and not realize it. I just wish it had the boot for when the top is down.
Hi, how bad is blond spots ? Anyway to go around them ? Thanks
@@georgeeskandar6551
George, at first they were very noticable not being used to having to deal with Blind spots.
It has been 1 month of driving and now I am used to it.
I just use standard driving practices automatically.
You know, the turn your head and use mirrors stuff.
I must say it is much better with the top down of course.
But really, it becomes second hand since you know what to expect. I do not feel it would cause an accident or anything.
I enjoy riding my baby so much.
Smooth ride!
Hope this helps.
@@eles8888 Thanks so much for your insight. I've been thinking about either Toyota Avalon or Lexus Es 350, but then saw Solara for the first time, and I'm amazed at how beautiful this car is.
@@georgeeskandar6551
If you have a family with kids get the Avalon. Otherwise Solara.
Very sporty, smooth ride. It easily goes above speed limit without you knowing. Zips quickly.
When checking it out, make sure you check out under the car.
Do not bother with the 1st or 2nd generation. Go for 07 or 08 only. Earlier years although may look good with low mileage, they had oil leak issues.
I inspected an 07 which was BEAUTIFUL !!! Looked brand new. BUT...under the boot had oil all over it. Checked under the hood and saw it dripping down.
So be careful.
Nice 😀
I have a 2008 and I love my car.
The 2007 SOLARA coupe with the 4 CYLINDER engine # 2 AZFE has an "engine oil consumption" issue based on a TSB from 2011
Video of changing the shift solenoid on 2006 Toyota Camry Solaris
Its gorgeous like mine
Found and '07 SLE w/ 133k miles for $6k.
I would love to test drive one
This car has the best air conditioner I ever seen in my life. It will freeze you right out of the car.
I got one in red best color
You know what they say about big doors
Do y’all have a website
I have one for sale in Ohio in excellent condition. I am asking $8000 for it. It only has 90,000 miles on it and runs like a champ.
Why do you like the key in the dash?
Should have talked about that! I like it because it takes the guesswork entirely out of the situation. Have you ever went to put your key into a column ignition lock and missed? I know I sure have.
@@Cahlager Thats a good point
I'm looking for a Solara SLE convertible exactly like this one. Please help me locate one..Mike
I am selling one just like this in Ohio. It has 90,000 miles on it no damage to the outside or the inside.
I just bought one.. 2008 solara sle v6 79k miles leather interior no scratches drives like new for 11k
Not the world's most beautiful car, but a super fun and reliable car! Terrible visibility with the top up though ... really sketchy!!!
Mine doesn't look like that! The dash is ruined and gummy! The top leaks!
If you love it, get a new top put on it & get the dash replaced, or at least covered. I plan on giving mine the cherry treatment! It's one of the new classics. You heard it here first. And yes, I have a 2007 White pearl with tan top! She turns heads.
@@Nomadistar I agree I also have pearl/tan top. I LOVE IT!!
@@joycedunn120aye I just bought an 08 sle pearl white with black top
Very nice car, but....doesn't quite have the appeal of Volvo C70.....of course the Solara would be a better buy (Toyota reliability), but doesn't have the elegance/style of Volvo C70....
That is a matter of personal taste
>volvo
>elegance and style
