Nice car. Great story. I have( wife’s) a 2006 Solara SLE 3.3L, purchased in 6/2005 now @ 93K miles. I always thought it is Lexus like. In 2015 Toyota replaced the dash because it was cracking. Solid car. We have had no issues. One timing belt change. It’s paid for and we plan on driving it for several more years.
Beautiful color! I had a 2006 silver Solara - not even 100,000 miles, and someone totaled it last year. I loved that car. I even had the headlights professionally restored. Bought it for the sportier look but the Camry engine! Glad you get to keep yours from now on! Solaras are a dying breed!
Saw the cracking dash - this was a widespread issue on many toyotas for several years (Avalons, Camrys, Lexus models, etc). Mine had just started to crack - I tried to protect it from the few hot days we have here in Oregon, but it happened anyway!
Great looking car I have a 2004 Solara convertible & I absolutely love it
That’s a wild story! Hope u can keep that Solara
The 3.3L V6 has 225hp / 240lbs of torque
I miss this car so much I hope you keep it and make more driving videos on it
Very nice
Great car. I had to leave when dude said he traded a Solara for a Subaru legacy 😂😂
Could anyone send me links on supercharging a 2008 Toyota solara 3.3 v6 sport .
hi what kind cylinder would i need for a 2006 toyota solara?
My daughter just bought a virtual twin to this Solara. Did you by chance recently trade this at Harvey Lexus in Grand Rapids?
Yes, this is the car! I'll write back to your email soon.
@@IRWAutomotive Did you already get rid of it??
Do you still have it or you traded it in??
I really wish these came with the 3.5L V6
This one more reliable
@@LockandRoad eh not necessarily. 3.3L makes 4 cylinder power, not much difference in fuel economy, and the 3.5 is debatably more reliable. My 3.5l has never given me a problem so I’m biased on that but from googling around people generally say the reliability is the same or the 3.5 has a slight edge. Don’t get me wrong the 3.3L is a great motor just would of liked more power out of it.
Ur car is blue
Ya thanks
