Yeah. The docking laser is for anti-personnel however, I would not rule it out against the Phantom should it be allowed to get close. Not as strong as a traditional ship mounted laser. But if it hits, it will weaken the Phantom's shields enough that a quad cannon can get a 1 hit kill.

The concussion missiles are actually what was used to destroy the Death StarII's main reactor, not the cannons. Sorry but I'm giving this battle to the Falcon, based on maneuverability and shield strength.
The Falcon also has good military grade ARMOUR, not just shields. We see in TFA that a TIE fighter easily destroys an unarmoured ship larger than the falcon with a couple of shots, blasting it completely apart. The Falcon however could withstand direct hits on her armour. Of course repeated shots to the same location might still penetrate, and a direct hit to an exposed component (a taret or dish) might destroy said component, but at least the whole ship wasn't torn apart!
I just don't see the Falcon ever really being involved in a straight up slug fest against another ship. Especially one the size of the Ghost. Even within the limited new cannon -- not to mention extensive legends data -- the Falcon is designed to avoid and evade. She is meant to blast out of a system being chased by multiple (both in number and type) warships... Or to quickly insert itself for a drop off... etc. Any smart commander of the Falcon, without at least an addition starfighter to support it... is gonna run.
The Falcon has two concussion missile launchers with four round magazine for each launcher, two quad laser cannons. Was as agile as any Star fighter with duralloy armor from an imperial cruiser, and it has three separate shield generators. I think you need to do this one over. The falcon will out maneuver the ghost every time, and take everything the ghost throughs at it.
mtbkirby23 those are lasers. Not laser canons. They are only good for killing fighters. I don’t think the ghost would have trouble at all. And the missiles only appear in legends. But even in there the falcons were very unreliable and the lock on system was not great either. Han preferred not to use them I mean if the falcon could kill a ship don’t you think it would have? The ghost had no qualms blowing a corvette to hell
One very small correction... The weapon the Millennium Falcon used against the Death Star 2's reactor was the concussion missiles. Other than that, I do have one explanation on why the Falcon is so resilient - military-grade shields. I believe the shield generator was putting out a shield comparable to a single ISD shield generator, though I'd have to double-check. However, even if it's putting out half that, that would make the vessel more than capable of taking the hits it did. You can fly that thing straight at an Imperial Star Destroyer without fear of being blasted into pieces.
I have to agree that I think the Ghost would win the matchup between these two. You mention the Falcon’s durability, but really it’s just able to be put back together after falling apart time and again, which isn’t something that will help it in head to head fight. I think the upgrades that have been added to the ships will be a major factor in the fight. Not because the sensor dampers will give the Ghost a huge advantage, as once in a dogfight, I’m not sure if there is any, but on the other hand we’ve heard, seen and read for decades now, how the upgrades Han, and Lando, had done to the Falcon have made it faster, but its also made it very fragile and prone to breakage, something we really haven’t seen to be a problem with the Ghost. Even if both vessels have the same strength shields, the Ghost’s weapons load out outputs far more damage than the Falcon’s, and while both are able to take out fighters, and both have been seen to weather a hit or two from capital ships, the Falcon normally seems to fare far worse from the hits than the Ghost, which even has engaged multiple light cruisers, and taken them out with minimal help, and without suffering any significant damage. The Falcon on the other hand survived a couple hits, but ends up hurting for having done so. Basically the Falcon is only really effective as a block-aid runner, that is when it’s working, and it’s weapon load out is appropriate for that task, while the Ghost has shown itself to be a capable warship and is thus more heavily armed as it’s constantly engaging targets that are above it’s weight class, instead of just targeting fighters. I’ve loved the Ghost since seeing the first few episodes of Rebels, as you said it’s a great “Hub ship” for their adventures, and I love that the upgrades that have been installed were geared toward dampening and/or changing it’s sensor readings, which always made more sense to me than just increasing it’s speed, like was done with the Falcon, as IMO when trying to avoid an enemy with 10’s of thousands of ships, countless thousands of bases and outposts and millions of fighters, it seems not being seen, or not being recognized is far more advantageous than going just a bit faster, especially since you can damper and/or adjust your sensor readings without requiring a bunch of extra power, thus leaving more power to dedicate to your shields, and/or weapons.
I think the concussion missiles on the Millennium Falcon wood downplayed considerably. Because of the speed and maneuverability you could get in close launch a couple of missiles and do some heavy damage then hitting the same spot with the quad lasers to do the ghost in for sure.
In case anybody is wondering, the Falcon has been determined to be 35m long and 24m wide. Most canon sources I've seen (admittedly old ones) show it is loaded with lots of stolen military grade equipment, from sensors to shielding.
I'd say the Ghost would win. It would be a fun match up to see how the crews of each ship would react. An undertrained blind Jedi, a dark-side using padawan, a big beast, a good pilot war hero, a crazy droid, and a Mandalorian! Vs a very undertrained Jedi, a great smuggler pilot, his princess girlfriend, a big harry beast, the best R2 droid in the galaxy, and a boring protocol droid.
Nice evalutation, I think your right that in a straight up fight between good crews that the Ghost would win, but one of the things that everyone forgets that you did mention is that the Falcon is designed to be running away from a fight. If crewed with their respective owners and typical crew it COULD be a different result, but I'd probably say it would end up in a draw at best in Ghost's favour due to the fact that there is more crewed weapons on the Ghost.
@Landon Geis the quad lasers would shred the Phantom quickly, negating the 2-1 advantage of the Ghost (laser cannons are fighter killing machines, and the Phantom is a retrofitted transport). At that point, if the Falcon is able to drain the shields of the Ghost, one volley of concussion missiles would shred through the Ghost (concussion missiles are good agains heavy armor). The Falcon, being the faster ship, stands a good chance, as one the Phantom is destroyed, the quad lasers could easily begin chipping the shields while the Falcon dodges most of the incoming fire from the Ghost, as it has a smaller profile and is faster. It's a pretty fair fight, both standing a good chance against one another, in my opinion. All depends on whether the Ghost is able to hit with its proton torpedoes and if the Falcon is able to lower the shields. Since the Phantom will be quickly eliminated by the anti-fighter quad laser turrets, it plays an incredibly insignificant role.
I know,i just wanted to know whose ship is stronger.I also don't think that it would have become a video because well as you said they're the same class, but hey it's worth a shot
While it is true that it is smaller, the MC140 was way more heavily armed than you would expect. It had 30 heavy turbolasers, 30 standard turbolasers, 30 ion cannons and 40 heavy proton torpedo launchers. It also had blinding speed on its side, and a powerful alpha strike. I can't imagine too many ships would survive too long when being simultaneously hit by about 20 heavy turbolasers, 20 turbolasers, 20 ion cannons and 40 heavy proton torpedoes. In addition, let us not forget Mon Calamari shielding making it far harder to destroy than would be immediately evident. All that being said, I would probably say that the Pellaeon Class would win more times than it lost.
+Thomas Parry I had actually done it first on the 6th video of this series, but it doesn't matter as long as the video gets in. The battle is based heavily on circumstance since the MC-140 has to be in perfect forward-facing position for the "cross of fire" effect, otherwise the Pellaeon would be able to overpower it from the sides or flanks.
You're definitely underestimating the Falcon's speed. It has a 0.5 hyperdrive and the Ghost just has a slow class 3 hyperdrive so the Millennium Falcons much MUCH faster.
One big thing that Eck missed in this one is the fact that the Ghost has a massive blind spot behind and beneath its center line. The Falcon, being faster and more maneuverable, could get on the Ghost's tail and blast away with no problems. If the Ghost deploys the fighter, which the Falcon is probably even better suited to killing, the Ghost would lose all rear defensive capabilities. This means, this fight shouldn't have been a who wins, but how long does the Ghost last.
I think shooting an exposed reactor doesn't really hold up to the damage where as we see the ghost fire at armored light cruisers. Not sure 100% on how protected the reactor would be from the internal but considering everything- I think a burst of lasers would have destroyed it let alone concussion missiles. Would definitely do some damage to the ghost but I'm not exactly sure to what extent
I gotta go with the Ghost too. It's just better built, and better maintained as far as being a warship goes. I love the Falcon, but the ghost is much more of a warship. Now, if you want to talk as a freelance smuggler, the falcon wins hands down. It was built to get small, valuable, illegal cargo where it's supposed to be, fast, and in secret, and in that regard, it has the Ghost beat hands down. Both are best at what their captains designed them to do.
1. Millennium Falcon DOES have torpedo launchers. 2. All the engineering/ maintenance problems with the Falcon were with the Huperdrive. True, in a slugfest the ghost would win. But both pilots don't necessarily engage in slugfests. They use cunning and skill more than brute force.
The Falcon had some pretty complex shield systems, apparently 4 types of shields, as wells as military grade armour, the Ghost is only mentioned to have shields, i'd take that to mean they merely have bog standard shields. The Falcon is 25kph faster in atmosphere, way faster in hyperspace. The Falcon essentially has 8 lasers to the Ghost's 6, yet the Ghost can only have 4 pointing either aft or forward, the twin dorsal ball turret lasers but the Falcon has ventral and dorsal ball turret quad lasers that provide more all round cover, the Ghost has no Ventral armaments, on straight attack runs or broadside the Falcon can put 8 lasers onto it's target at the right angle. The Flacon has missile launchers but the Ghost has Proton launchers. The Falcon was originally modified by folks with the creds to spare, the Ghost was probably modified on a shoe string budget using scraps. This battle would be a slugging match which the Falcon would have to rely on it's speed and manoeuvrability to get into blind spots, use hit and run tactics and wear down its bigger and heavier stable-mate, i'd go 6/10 times the Falcon would win. If Alex Kamal or Bull were piloting the Falcon it would be an awesome spinning light show of death for the Ghost while avoiding all the incoming fire.
+Glutenslayer thanks man! That means a lot coming from you, I really enjoy your content (and would recommend anyone watching this video to check it out)!
Something a little out there: Keldabe-class Battleship vs. Valor-class Cruiser. Let's go old mandalorian wars! It'd be nice to see a mandalorian ship go up in the contest!
Thanks for this match up! Very interessting indeed. My vote goes to the Ghost because of how powerful her weapons are. And I never realized how huge it is. Wow!! Oo
Now this is interesting... Though then it isn't looking at a one VS one situation, but keep bringing this up in videos I'm sure he'll do something about it.
The ghost would win it's more bulky and thicker and made for battle the falcon is faster and more movable and better at dodging then the ghost but in the end the ghost would win
You should've also included cargo capacity as a relevant category, since that's actually the primary purpose of both ships. (Ghost still wins, it's got a larger cargo bay that's easier to load and has even hauled some big things externally)
the falcon's forward torpedo placements combined with it's speed, almost indestructible rear shields and superior maneuverability give the edge to win. all it needs to do is dance around the sides of the ghost aiming for the Ghost's dorsal turret with the Falcon's more powerful top and bottom quad laser turrets, swing around to it's six, put full power the forward shields, slow down and fire proton torpedoes at the Ghosts engines in the crosshairs while defending itself from the Phantom with it's turrets which would make short work of the Phantom
Also, the Falcon has two fixed mount turbolasers in that area as well, which can be seen during the battle of Endor. The clip of the Falcon destroying the reactor actually shows this, i believe
The falcon takes this. It's maneuverability wins. It's shielding outmatched the ghost. The ghost has more weapons but they are low grade vs The Falcons military high grade quad cannons. The falcon has fought against several SD and the DS II and survived. The ghost destroyed an arquitens, which is 5 times smaller than a SD. Based on the history and the power of the enemies the ship faced and won against the falcon wins.
Falcon wasn't military grade, the ghost was. Ghost has better shielding, the ghost had the phantom to help, the falcon just had a good pilot that was all.
Mayor Quimby the falcon had upgraded guns, anti personnel guns, upgraded engines and hyperdrive, undetectable smuggling compartments and armor from an imperial cruiser. it had 3 shield generators and missile upgrades. if missiles and anti personnel guns and upgraded military quad cannons arent considered military i dont know what is. it doesnt rely on sensors for shields or guns or speed to catch and destroy the ghost. the ghost was named the ghost because it was hard to detect. it had engine baffles and could mimic solar flares or cosmic radiation.
Not even close. If you read the Rebels books you would know that the Ghost has stealth capabilities along with superior fire power. It is also extremely maneuverable for it's size. In regards to the pilots. Hera is just as good a pilot as Han and probably a better combat pilot as she flies everything.
I feel this was very biased. You basically said "Nerf everything that made the Falcon, THE Falcon, and take away the stock weapons YT-1300s comes with, THEN put it against the Ghost." It might as well have been a stock YT-1300 without missile launchers. I would have accepted the Ghost winning if it did went against a triple shield generator Falcon with military grade turrets.
isnt it obvious that home one wins? that thing could maybe hold its own agaisnt two star destroyers for a while. The liberty thought is easily popped by just one ISD.
And the ghost had the same capabilities and was even able to make it seem it was another type of ship as well as totally disappearing from sensors. .. So a slight advantage to the ghost in a battle... But then it also had the auxiliary shuttle/fighter that it could use as well.
Falcon also has that surface defence blaster cannon from the battle of Hoth. Probably wouldn't do too much o the Ghost, but may damage the Phantom if that's involved.
As much as I love the Ghost, I must disagree with one thing. In the canon Star Wars comics, we see that the Millennium Falcon can fire anti-capital ship grade proton bombs. Two of these punched clean through the hull of an unshielded Imperial II-class star destroyer. I would say that the Ghost and Falcon are equal in overall firepower.
This is a toughy. But I think you are right with the 6.5 times out of 10. If the falcon can avoid being hit I think it would do ok. But the ghost would be able tank an awful lot of shots from the falcon. The falcon could reasonably stay away from the front of the ghost for most of the time. Its an extremely fast and maneuverable ship as well as durable. We have seen it take several strafing run from tie fighters and keep on ticking. Like full on runs with like 50 shots per run. I love the falcon but there is no way to tell. There are definitely such things as lucky shots so yeah its a tough call
The Executor would shred the Mandator II. The Mandator III would put up a better fight, but it was essentially a slower but heavier armed Bellator, and we know the executor in legends is a beast.
The- Astralith maybe, maybe not. Yah never really know. The arc 170 had more weaponry. However the x-wing was faster and more advanced so I think it's fairly even!
arc 170 is a lot better than the xwing, the problem with that ship is that is more expensive in all ways and the rebels were dirty terrorists short of people and money
I do think the ghost is over estimated because its a kids cartoon that shows the good guy always win, I don't the ghost could destroy a small imperial ship in just a few shot or that ship has the worst defensives ability's their is.
revin zash you realize the Falcon oneshotted the Death Star right? The whole of star wars is a media aimed for kids where the good guys always win, nothing new with Rebels.
@@kahmul To be fair, reactors tend to react poorly when being shot at. Whats more unrealistic is that there would be a path to that reactor big enough to fit a freighter in the first place.

Great video! One thing I noticed was in the audio you said you were focusing on the Phantom II but all the video at that point was actually the first Phantom.
The Falcon also has an underside hidden turret. Plus those quad-laser turrets are extremely fast and very powerful for their size. The Falcon has more angles of attack and is faster, I feel it could overwhelm the Ghost. Republic Stealth Ship vs Imperial Cruiser.

I think the Falcon would win simply because of the concussion middle launchers. They are barley mentioned in the video when they were used along with those from Wedge Antillies X-Wing to destroy the reactor core of the second Death Star. One volley from a weapon that powerful would cripple or destroy the Ghost.
The Millennium Falcon weapons and mods: Small blasters on the bow mandibles Duralloy plating KDY, Novaldex, and Nordoxicon shield generators (this gives the Falcon warship-grade shielding which is how it can tank Imperial Class 2 Star Destroyer fire) High-end, military-grade (also very illegal) sensors and sensor jammers Highly modified Hanx-Wargel Superflow IV computer modified with and powered by 3 droid brains, and R3 astromech, and a V-5 transport droid Class 0.5 hyperdrive Illegally modified CEC AG-2G quad laser cannons powered by Quadex power core (illegal mods made it powerful enough to 1-shot TIE Fighters and can be remote controlled if necessary). These were replaced by light turbolasers Arakyd ST2 concussion missiles concealed between the forward mandibles (said missiles were used to destroy the second Death Star). The launcher can also take missiles manufactured by Dymek Unspecified mil-spec power generators and propulsion systems installed post-war (which probably means the Falcon can be overclocked to go even faster) The Ghost's stuff: Phantoms I and II - can easily get shredded by the much beefier and higher fire rate mil-spec weaponry of the Falcon. What are they gonna do? Place hitmarkers? They'd at most burn of paint Shitty laser semi-auto cannons - said cannons probably have a capped fire rate preventing bump-fire Inferior armor and shields - can only tank shots from the tiny Gozanti-class frigates which obviously have way weaker cannons than your Imperial Class 2 Shitty propulsion systems - makes it handle more like a flying tractor

Y-wing vs Tie Bomber
Emanuel Martinez a wing it's more updated tech wise and is faster
Edit: oh wait it isn't faster
HellHunter77 o yea i forgot let me change it
now that's a challenge
Emanuel Martinez I'd say that's unfair
Darth Jar Jar The Wise how
In case anybody is wondering, the Falcon has been determined to be 35m long and 24m wide.

In my opinion:
If Han was in the Falcon, and Hera/crew were in the Ghost, I think Han would win .
Because Han would shoot first ;)
@Landon Geis the quad lasers would shred the Phantom quickly, negating the 2-1 advantage of the Ghost (laser cannons are fighter killing machines, and the Phantom is a retrofitted transport).
Admiral Trench flagship vs General Grievous flagship
they're the same class
I know,i just wanted to know whose ship is stronger.I also don't think that it would have become a video because well as you said they're the same class, but hey it's worth a shot
No. Grievous uses the stock 1,088 meter size, while Trench used the large 2,177 meter size.
I actually forgot about that. Thanks for pointing that out
leagacy class star destroyer vs victory 2 class star destroyer (2nd try)
Amazing video as usual. Keep up the good work!
MC140 Battlecruiser vs Pellaeon Class Star Destroyer (First suggested by Wyatt Rossow multiple times. I thought I would help him out)
While it is true that it is smaller, the MC140 was way more heavily armed than you would expect.
Especially if Chopper is controlling the rear guns
Chopper is a crack shot so I'd bet he could hit the Falcon
Tri-Droid Starfighter vs Tie-Interceptor
Tri-Fighter, only because of the buzz droids they can launch and missiles
You're definitely underestimating the Falcon's speed. It has a 0.5 hyperdrive and the Ghost just has a slow class 3 hyperdrive so the Millennium Falcons much MUCH faster.
Only in hyperspace
One big thing that Eck missed in this one is the fact that the Ghost has a massive blind spot behind and beneath its center line. The Falcon, being faster and more maneuverable, could get on the Ghost's tail and blast away with no problems. If the Ghost deploys the fighter, which the Falcon is probably even better suited to killing, the Ghost would lose all rear defensive capabilities. This means, this fight shouldn't have been a who wins, but how long does the Ghost last.
the concussion missile ripped through the reactor of the second death star, and also had an insane rate of fire
I think shooting an exposed reactor doesn't really hold up to the damage where as we see the ghost fire at armored light cruisers. Not sure 100% on how protected the reactor would be from the internal but considering everything- I think a burst of lasers would have destroyed it let alone concussion missiles. Would definitely do some damage to the ghost but I'm not exactly sure to what extent
the Praetor Mark 2 Class-Battlecruiser vs Resurgent Class-Star Destroyer (7th time trying)
They shot concussions missiles at the death star generator in Jedi.
awesome video mate keep up the good work
Love both but the ghost is more of a fighter and stealth helps for smuggling so its a way better ship
Millennium Falcon vs outrider

EckhartsLadder yes!!
love these vids man
+Glutenslayer thanks man! That means a lot coming from you, I really enjoy your content (and would recommend anyone watching this video to check it out)!
C'mon guy. Falcon had two concussion missile launchers in between the forward mandibles. That's how it knocked out the 2nd Death Star.
Something a little out there:
Keldabe-class Battleship vs. Valor-class Cruiser.
Let's go old mandalorian wars! It'd be nice to see a mandalorian ship go up in the contest!
I think my favorite ship from any star wars related thing has to be the ghost. I just love the thing so much
Thanks for this match up!
Very interessting indeed. My vote goes to the Ghost because of how powerful her weapons are.
And I never realized how huge it is. Wow!! Oo
What about something little bigger? What about the Open Circle Fleet vs. the Death Squadron? Could be a interessting Match-up
I think it's only one-on-one battles but that would be interesting
Especially since many of the open circle fleet ships have that extra artillery cannon in the hangar like the one in Revenge of the Sith.
Now this is interesting... Though then it isn't looking at a one VS one situation, but keep bringing this up in videos I'm sure he'll do something about it.
how would you collect this information? it probably changed constantly if it has even been stated how many of what kind of ship there is
Thank you for this channel its interesting, educational, and fun.
The ghost would win it's more bulky and thicker and made for battle the falcon is faster and more movable and better at dodging then the ghost but in the end the ghost would win
Great video and analysis. I didn't think about many of those aspects.
You should've also included cargo capacity as a relevant category, since that's actually the primary purpose of both ships.
(Ghost still wins, it's got a larger cargo bay that's easier to load and has even hauled some big things externally)
In these category Falcon wins. Original purpos it to push cargo containers in its bow, because of that it have cocpit on side to see over them
the falcon's forward torpedo placements combined with it's speed, almost indestructible rear shields and superior maneuverability give the edge to win. all it needs to do is dance around the sides of the ghost aiming for the Ghost's dorsal turret with the Falcon's more powerful top and bottom quad laser turrets, swing around to it's six, put full power the forward shields, slow down and fire proton torpedoes at the Ghosts engines in the crosshairs while defending itself from the Phantom with it's turrets which would make short work of the Phantom
I am sick too! hope you get better soon
+Grand admiral Thrawn you too!
EckhartsLadder covanet battle cruiser vs star destroyer
OMG I requested this ty for doing it
guys, the Falcon has concussion missiles in the area between the two prongs
i think these could breach the Ghosts windows, and the Falcon has sheets of STAR DESTROYER ARMOR!!!!!!!
Also, the Falcon has two fixed mount turbolasers in that area as well, which can be seen during the battle of Endor. The clip of the Falcon destroying the reactor actually shows this, i believe
Noah Greenleaf Those are torpedoes that the falcon fires.
Yeah, and that area can also be equipped with torpedoes. Not quite enough for parity, but it's close.
I've found reference to the Falcon being loaded with 18 torpedoes.
Arent you forgetting that the falcon also has proton torpedos as well? Thats what it used to shoots at the Death Star II.
Lucrehulk-class Battleship Vs. Imperial II Star Destroyer

+Lane Manning :)
Aegis 030 I agree.
Hera is just as good a pilot as Han and probably a better combat pilot as she flies everything.
ghost win cuz they got both jedi inside while luke sometimes is in the x wing so im sorry
I feel this was very biased. You basically said "Nerf everything that made the Falcon, THE Falcon, and take away the stock weapons YT-1300s comes with, THEN put it against the Ghost."
It might as well have been a stock YT-1300 without missile launchers.
I would have accepted the Ghost winning if it did went against a triple shield generator Falcon with military grade turrets.
mc 80 liberty vs mc 80 home one please!?
isnt it obvious that home one wins? that thing could maybe hold its own agaisnt two star destroyers for a while. The liberty thought is easily popped by just one ISD.
NorthPlayyyer fine how about Venator vs Victory?
+I ain't no Fish of course victory
Real Maggot the victory isnt so outclassed by home one, its just home one has so many upgrades and
Mods it has a clear edge
dont forget that dish on the falcon was made to jam enemy sensors and targeting...which would play a HUUUGE role in a fight
And the ghost had the same capabilities and was even able to make it seem it was another type of ship as well as totally disappearing from sensors. .. So a slight advantage to the ghost in a battle... But then it also had the auxiliary shuttle/fighter that it could use as well.
do dauntless heavy cruiser vs mc30c
I just subscribed to your channel man I found it recently and I love it can't wait for more videos :)
+luke Skywalker the 2nd thanks dude!!
EckhartsLadder Your welcome anytime :)
I think that the ghost is a remake of the falcon.
u hav a chinese name?!?
go watch rebels
Mandator II (or maybe III)
VS.
The Executor
Christian Hyatt been trying it for 5 videos
The Executor would shred the Mandator II. The Mandator III would put up a better fight, but it was essentially a slower but heavier armed Bellator, and we know the executor in legends is a beast.
*****
Sure, but I don't know the name of it. Do you happen to know the name of it so I could look it up?
Okay. So
Apocalypta
Vs.
Executor?

This is a great idea...wait what's more powerful, Mandator III or the Apocalypta. Because the Mandator III was after the Executor.

X-wing vs arc 170
Second try, I won't give up
Umm Guy? x wing would destroy the arc 170.
I always saw the X-wing as a upgraded arc 170. So I say X-wing.
The- Astralith maybe, maybe not. Yah never really know. The arc 170 had more weaponry. However the x-wing was faster and more advanced so I think it's fairly even!
If we're playing BF2, I'd take the arc170
arc 170 is a lot better than the xwing, the problem with that ship is that is more expensive in all ways and the rebels were dirty terrorists short of people and money
can you do the Halo Spirit of Fire VS the Venator class star destroyer
I do think the ghost is over estimated because its a kids cartoon that shows the good guy always win, I don't the ghost could destroy a small imperial ship in just a few shot or that ship has the worst defensives ability's their is.
revin zash you realize the Falcon oneshotted the Death Star right? The whole of star wars is a media aimed for kids where the good guys always win, nothing new with Rebels.
Jack Jones The good guys always win? Have you seen Revenge of the Sith?
@@kahmul To be fair, reactors tend to react poorly when being shot at. Whats more unrealistic is that there would be a path to that reactor big enough to fit a freighter in the first place.
@@haltopen12 Boom ... Truth right there
And the Falcon somehow isn't !?!?!? Please .... i am amazed the falcon is able to fly at all with the unreliability it has. Only thing keeping the falcon from being a expanding cloud of flaming debris is plot armor.
Great video! One thing I noticed was in the audio you said you were focusing on the Phantom II but all the video at that point was actually the first Phantom.
Falcon would win every time because it's way to maneuverable and would pepper away at the sucky "Star Wars" rebels ghost.
This is great!

The Falcon also had concussion missile tubes.
Millennium Falcon also has a hidden concussion missile launcher. I don't know if it'd make much difference, but...
The Falcon also has an underside hidden turret. Plus those quad-laser turrets are extremely fast and very powerful for their size. The Falcon has more angles of attack and is faster, I feel it could overwhelm the Ghost.
Republic Stealth Ship vs Imperial Cruiser.
Don't forget that it has armor of equivalent strength to a star destroyer, too.
Dude this series is awesome
the falcon also has an Arakyd ST-2 Viper concussion missile turret mounted in the mandibles. (two tubes with 4 rounds each) this is what is used to KO the DS2. according to wookiepedia, the st-2 is armor piercing, with a yield identical to a proton torpedo, however, it is a short range missile (300 to 700 meters) please consider a do-over with this in mind. please check the wookiepedia entry in canon, quote:

Star killer base vs escape pod
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the shield generators of the falcon battleship shield generators, which makes the falcon nearly indestructible?
The big factor is there wouldn't be a fight, the falcon was built to avoid a fight, the falcon would run.
Again another great match up not cause the ghost won but cause it wasn't a case of you know who's going to win by the title of the video nice work
I think the Falcon would win simply because of the concussion middle launchers. They are barley mentioned in the video when they were used along with those from Wedge Antillies X-Wing to destroy the reactor core of the second Death Star. One volley from a weapon that powerful would cripple or destroy the Ghost.
The Millennium Falcon weapons and mods:
Small blasters on the bow mandibles
Duralloy plating
KDY, Novaldex, and Nordoxicon shield generators (this gives the Falcon warship-grade shielding which is how it can tank Imperial Class 2 Star Destroyer fire)
High-end, military-grade (also very illegal) sensors and sensor jammers
Highly modified Hanx-Wargel Superflow IV computer modified with and powered by 3 droid brains, and R3 astromech, and a V-5 transport droid
Class 0.5 hyperdrive
Illegally modified CEC AG-2G quad laser cannons powered by Quadex power core (illegal mods made it powerful enough to 1-shot TIE Fighters and can be remote controlled if necessary). These were replaced by light turbolasers
Arakyd ST2 concussion missiles concealed between the forward mandibles (said missiles were used to destroy the second Death Star). The launcher can also take missiles manufactured by Dymek
Unspecified mil-spec power generators and propulsion systems installed post-war (which probably means the Falcon can be overclocked to go even faster)
The Ghost's stuff:
Phantoms I and II - can easily get shredded by the much beefier and higher fire rate mil-spec weaponry of the Falcon. What are they gonna do? Place hitmarkers? They'd at most burn of paint
Shitty laser semi-auto cannons - said cannons probably have a capped fire rate preventing bump-fire
Inferior armor and shields - can only tank shots from the tiny Gozanti-class frigates which obviously have way weaker cannons than your Imperial Class 2
Shitty propulsion systems - makes it handle more like a flying tractor
