Good to see you back. Have they changed the Model Y since the early UK cars? I am sure I have read reviews that were critical of interior noise and a rock-hard ride. You're saying it's very refined and the ride is firm-ish but not too bad. I know Tesla are quick to make improvements so maybe they did do something.

Welcome back Mark, you’ve been missed! Just had a week of being ferried around in our friend’s Tesla Y Long Range, on holiday here in Dubai. The ride is bone-jarringly harsh. And for what reason? Totally out of kilter for a family car. Much prefer the comfortable ride of my iX3, and the quality of the BMW is miles ahead of the Tesla
It's because of the weight, it would almost fall over if it smelt a corner if it wasn't so stiff

It’s been number one on my wish list as would love a Tesla with a lot of room for the family and nice to see the ride quality has improved and the price has come down BUT there’s one massive issue that was mentioned briefly in the review - no F’ing rear wiper!
This might be fine in sunny California but on UK roads? Come on Tesla, I’d be wiping it myself on every journey here and that’s crazy for a £40k+ car. I doubt they’ll do anything about it but it’s really put me off getting one to the extent when I change my EV in 18 months time it may well be ruled out.
