@mattdanadel. I have a question. How can you be sure that your battery is optimal warm for charging the battery? What is the optimal setting will driving to such a charging points?
Secret trick - when using cruise and blue warning that hands is not on wheel. Instead squeezing the wheel just move one of the roller wheel to show you’re alert.
Thank you for putting this together. I bought a model Y after test driving one once lol. Prior to that I never even sat in an EV let alone drive one. Videos like this help a lot.
I feel like the click bait was unnecessary to the point where there are plenty of titles that could have been used that would catch interest but not be click bait
I found out yesterday how to angle the a/c! You just drag the screen left right and up or down when viewing climate and it sets the fan in that direction… blew my mind.
Just found a really nice hidden feature. While getting ppf applied on the new Model Yp, my wife and I were both curious about the goings on at the installers shop. So was looking at the cameras quite often when I was out of town. My wife was doing the same. So the hidden feature is that you can be cut off by your sentry mode by watch the video too much. This help insure that you won’t be using a lot of bandwidth of teslas and cost them too much money or bandwidth. Once you are cut off, it is no longer possible to check the security of your car for the rest of the day. This is extremely helpful when curious about your car when you see the door open later that night. You will remain curious.
Good video. I recalled I used to own a leaf back 2013 when most people have no clue about EV, tips for getting more range lol: when you are on a long trip where every single mile or mileage matters , drive behind a semi truck and you will see magic happens.
@@MrAdopado no it doesn’t, you will be dumb enough to drive right on the back a common sense distance is always needed unless you age crack- headed teen. 2nd of all semi don’t and CAN NOT break like other cars do.
One feature that nobody takes about is if you hold the drive stock down while using autopilot, it will actually match the speed to speed limit plus any offset you have set. Waaayyyyyyy better than touching the little icon on the screen.
A really important feature a lot of people don’t know - (I learned by google while in trouble) is the small button on the underside of the charge cover. I couldn’t get a supercharger to release and discovered via google, the button. Press it once (doesn’t feel like it did anything) and it will force it to “white” and you can release. Happened at a supercharger with at least 3 other Tesla owners who had no idea. Thanks for a great video!
I'd like to add a nice detail: when the passenger seat pressure sensor notices there is a passenger in the seat, there will pop-up a second temp control unit on the right side of the screen. The passenger can set the temp of the blower on their side!
🤣🤣🤣 it's so funny to see how teslaboys present ordinary things as "features". The passenger can set the temp of the blower on their side even in my 2005 Skoda Octavia🤣🤣🤣
@Dondriver12345 it's been standard in a lot of cars since the 90s but having it only visible when there is a passenger present is definitely new. Adaptive interface is not something ant Skoda has.
How do you get that large view of your cameras for automatic blind spot? I only get the blind spot camer when I turn my signal on and it appears on the left side of the screen
7th There is a hard boot option if softboot fails, disconnect the 12v battery and the main battery (which you need to lift the rear seat to get to the access panal), 17th is good for people with PTSD or autistic with sensory issues, 21th is called ' pre-condition ' you can set wake timers to have the battery ready to go when you get out to it when its time to leave.
Yes as mentioned earlier 16 is not a feature . Parking brake is applied when you stop and leave the car. Pressing it disengages what was already engaged and then reengages it
loved the video, and the color of your tesla. Is this the Ultra Red one? Thinking about getting a MYLR on red, but looks like tesla keep changing their colors tone every once in a while.
@@TamilEelam1 More braking if you hold the park button. In fact, if you park on a steep grade, the car will prompt you to set the “emergency “ brake. I think what it does is apply a brake lock to all four wheels. I always use it on my slanted driveway.
@@thefish5861 Oh fair enough. However, I thought they were both the same thing, but you can hold and release the park button multiple times while driving to perform an emergency slow down.
Nicely done! Just FYI: pressing and holding the P button makes the icon appear, but isn’t necessary for applying the “e brake.” The e brake is on whenever the car is in Park-it’s how Park works since there’s no multi-speed transmission. The e brake IS Park, and it actually just uses the rear calipers-same ones that squeeze when you press the brake pedal.
True and the "hidden" (although technically not hidden since it's documented) feature is that when you hold down the brake, and the car goes into Hold mode, you can simply get out of the car. Hold keeps it from rolling away, and getting out will cause the car to put itself in Park and apply the parking brake.
@@123pathTube In order to keep the car from rolling away, and to keep things from failing if the car loses power or anything else, the parking brake is essentially screwed closed when it's applied. It's done by a motor. If the parking brake is applied, the car won't move. Tesla doesn't make it clear what happens when the button is held and there's a lot of debate about it.

I feel like tesla should add a way to manually open the glovebox so if your in an accident and you needa retrieve your flash drive but the screen isn’t working you can do that.
Lol. "Thankfully Tesla has thought of everything. To open the door of a Tesla, find the small lever on the inside of your door and pull it" groundbreaking. 😂

So informative for me. Thanks for uploading this video. Didn’t understand the feature of adding one more control to the Tesla app like from 4 features to 5 features.
#10 is so dangerous in Europe since as I've seen several times the car read not only the relevant signs but also other ones that are not actually for the cars on my road, going from 130 to 30 kmh can be quite a problematic change to deal with on a not even so busy road
I am not sure where do i report issues i think need improvement on my Model 3. #1 the driver side wiper washer is set too high on the blade or there should be an additional lower nozzle. When driving with washer on the lower part of the windshield does no get any wash. #2 i have a blue color Modell 3 with black door handles. You cannot see the handles when dark- at night. This leads to fumbling around at night which is awkward and can be dangerous if someone is stalking you, The handles should be lit or glow when approaching or pop out like the original model S. Maybe you can do a post / video to Tesla criticizing. thanks
Thanks for the tip about the auto-cancelling turn signals. Didn't know it was there - turned it on right away. The tip about charging i disagree with. For supercharging of course you want it quick as possible. But the faster you charge, the more you degrade the battery. So only supercharge when you need to, on the go. Whenever charching at home, charge as slow as your (overnight) stay will allow for. Or if you want low tarrifs: don't start charging right away but have the app set up to charge in super off peak hours. If you leave the car for a few days, charge it to 50% (optimal storage charge) and charge it further only right before you need to use it again. This further slows down battery degredation.
You CAN charge at a slower rate at chargers (if you want to) by using the app. Just change the amp setting to a lower one and it will take longer to charge. This can be handy if you are at a shopping center and plan to be there for a couple of hours, but don't want to have to move the car in the middle of your shopping (or eating). Just lower the charging rate and look at the new 'remaining time to charge limit'.
That's not completely accurate either. If you want to charge as slowly as possible at home, using a 120V plug will do that, but it's far less efficient than 240V. Using an NEMA 14-50 outlet or a Tesla wall connector will be more efficient, and lowering the amperage won't have a negative impact. Charging when the battery is cool could have a minor effect, but if you have night rates, you're still better off letting your car charge off peak, even if it cooled down. As far as battery degradation from charging at home, the rate even at 80A (not an option for the 3, Y or any recent Tesla) isn't fast enough compared to a Supercharger for affect degradation to any significant degree. My 2014 has lost 11 miles of range at 90%, which is effectively meaningless day to day, and won't add a single extra charging stop to a long trip, nor is it likely to make a charging stop longer, assuming that I'm stopped for any other reason, such as eating or using a restroom.
Tesla battery degradation is not accelerated by frequent Supercharging, which was previously thought, according to an extensive new study. It has long been believed in the industry that frequent DC fast charging is bad for battery longevity; even Tesla used to warn against it.

Didn't you put in a link to lower your car? It looks pretty low. Lowering the suspension will wear out tires like yours has. I had this issue with a BMW Z4 when the shocks got old. Luckily, the Z4 could adjust camber.

Most new cars have the automatic, turning off the turn signals if you just slightly push on the stick when changing a lane and using a blinker, but don’t push it all the way it will blink three times
I have a question I’m debating on waiting for the model Y juniper or finding a used X model . I see the new Y won’t be out till end of 2024, the new air suspension in the Juniper y sounds like something to wait for. I can’t find the specs for the suspension on the 2022 or later X model to see what that is. Would love to hear your thoughts on should I get the X now or wait for Juniper, I realize this is a very subjective question. Can’t afford a new X looking at something with 3000 miles around 65,000. What would you all do? Thanks.
I received Model Y recently everything is excellent but I feel that the accelerator pedal is too hard to press. This is not the case when I did a test drive on the Demo vehicle. Do any settings need to change to smoothen the pedal?
3:00 this was updated to lower the window if has power to work the same way the door opener button works… In a emergency (and no power) who cares that the trim is damaged when you can get out safely, that is the main objective…🤔

Most new cars have the automatic, turning off the turn signals if you just slightly push on the stick when changing a lane and using a blinker, but don’t push it all the way it will blink three times
Yeah Tesla’s have that too
how do you get the cameras to work while driving? 13:08
In Pedals and Steering change out of "Chill" mode to 'sport" in Acceleration option
Thank you so much for this video. So many helpful tips❤️ Much love from this new Tesla Y owner🥰
I’m glad this video was helpful!
Many things are just trivial and others don't work, for example the icons of the application can't move 2 at a time.
i’ve spent so much time in the menus and i had to learn most of these myself. wish i saw this the day i got mine LMAO
Nice video, thanks
Hay Matt what do you do for a living
3:00 this was updated to lower the window if has power to work the same way the door opener button works… In a emergency (and no power) who cares that the trim is damaged when you can get out safely, that is the main objective…🤔
Joe Mode is hella funny - should have called it Sleepy Joe LOL
holy shit! you're in Nashville? ME TOO MANN!! I ordered my MYLR last night and man im excited. Thanks for all the great guides 🔥🔥
The 5th one was dope, no one ever mentioned that
Thank you so much 😊
Can you find out how to put the spoiler icon on the display? Can someone tell Elon to give us the optio in service mode??
The blinker blind spot is not a hidden feature, nor is most of this list...
Since you where talking about climate control. I did not see you use the feature to simply touch the temperature ikon and slide your finger left of right to quickly change the temperature. You also left out some other smart and important features with the left scrollwheel
Very well done, thanks a million!
These are really useful features, thank you! No one really teaches you about these things lol you just get the car and figure them out on your own I guess. Its just not traditional
The batter part is actually bad for a battery. It shortens the life cycle quicker. It may charge quicker but short life expectancy
2:26 one of the Tesla employees actually told my parents about the secret feature
These are not NEW features. We have know all of them for years. But its a good summary vídeo 👍🏼
Happy I've figured out all but one of these features in the 20 months I've owned my model y. Great to find out that the charge port has a manual release! Hope to never use it of course.
I will say there's so many of these videos out there and most of them are not worth watching, but for whatever reason I dug into this one enough to comment about it haha. well done!
Great video .... Thanks
I had to press select and down to get it working
How do I replace the O2 sensor on my tesla model 3 ?
You unscrew the distributor and under the muffler belt you find it.
The manual door opener lowers the glass when the car has power.
Well done and helpful video. Thanks!
Awesome tips!
4:40 somebody did a. Donut in the car park
Do the aero cap covers fall off easily?
No
Thank you!
Saved to 10 minite footage to where? To usb?? When you honk??
Great video, but unfortunately nothing is new for me 😃.
I will be waiting for you next video
