Haha, nah. It's just one of the many games I didn't have time to play. I'll probably get to it eventually. It sounds fantastic. Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching!
That was such a well-produced video. Well done! Your background in video production clearly shows. I enjoyed the commentary as well. I hope you can find the time to post more often.
I was so satisfied when I heard the music of Jusant before I saw the gameplay :). Cocoon was also one of my favorite puzzle games in quite sometime. Just the right difficulty
Thanks! I've never earnestly pursued growing my channel by playing the UA-cam game. This is a fun thing for me. If it got to be more about numbers and growth than talking about stuff I find interesting, then it would really have lost the point. That said, I'm psyched the almighty algorithm has been a little more favorable lately and I'm starting to get some traction here.
Very well made video! I was honestly surprised when I saw your subscriber count, I assumed this was a big channel production. Also am I tripping, or is the climbing in Jusant very similar to the monkey suit in Astro's Playroom? Anyhow, I'll be checking it out, it looks very interesting!
Thank you! Yeah, the monkey suit in Astro's Playroom is a good comparison although the feel of the movement there was less organic since it was all about showing off the DualSense. The games Grow Home and Grow Up also used similar climbing systems but I didn't like the feel or design of those games but maybe I would feel differently if I went back to them.
Good question. Embracer just cancelled a new Deus Ex. Arkane seems to be moving away from immersive sims but maybe after the failure of Redfall they'll go back? Supposedly System Shock 3 was happening but there's been radio silence on that for a while. Clockwork Revolution looks like it could be immersive sim-adjacent. And Ken Levine's Judas looks pretty BioShock-esque so maybe immersive sim lite?
I'm only passingly familiar with ACG. I doubt this channel will ever get anywhere close to that big though. This isn't my full time job and I never expect it to be. For people trying to make a living on here, there's inevitably going to be differences in the approach to making content and managing their channels/brands. That might seem like compromise or "selling out" to some viewers. Again, I can't speak directly to that situation, but I empathize with people making their living doing UA-cam. From what I understand, it's brutal. I'm an "amatuer" in the sense that I'm not getting paid at this point, I don't have a posting schedule, and I can do whatever I like whenever I like. I don't post often because this isn't a full time or even a part time gig for me and life is busy. So I'm probably not a good substitute for a more regular gaming channel (plus I eventually would like to branch out a little into other topics). But thank you very much for subscribing and commenting. I appreciate that and hope you enjoyed the video. Alan Wake seems very much like a game that either clicks for you or doesn't. Like I said, Remedy's past games haven't worked for me even though they have for so many players. But this one finally did and I really loved the experience. Happy New Year!
My boy said "Baldurs Gate? Who da f00$ is that guy" 😂😂😂 on a serious note fantastic video!

this video deserves so many more views honestly, very well done
Much appreciated. Thanks for watching!

Was gonna sub - then the Starfield praise hit.
Praise? I said it was ultimately disappointing.
Damn the difference in the quality of your goty videos and subscribers count is mind boggling

What a great channel, I hope your channel starts to pick up soon as you have some great content and videos!
That's very kind. Thank you!
Pikmin deserves the world.
Yes, and my favorite game of 2023 was Gollum. Such a beautiful story.
A sad and pathetic character got a sad and pathetic game. Very meta. I miss good LotR games... If there ever really were any.

Great video!
i wonder when we will get another AAA immersive sim again. System shock was just a remake

@@DEBUGMODE Clockwork revolution and Judas both seem like "choices matter" games rather than immersive sims but we''l have to just wait and see
Bravo
Thank you, Beeg Yoshi!
Hifi rush is so underrated
I respect it for sure. Character action and rhythm games aren't my thing but I liked what I played of it. Has a ton of energy and style.
Octopath 2
I heard great things about that one. It definitely falls under "genres I don't gravitate towards" though.
I unsubbed from ACG and subbed to you. Please don't become a sellout like him when you inevitably grow as big as him.😁
Dont agree with Alan Wake though.

No Final Fantasy 16? Nooooooooooooo
No, sorry. Didn't play it. I'm something of a Final Fantasy dunce having only played 7 Remake.
@DEBUGMODE haha no worries botha! Just so you know, I don't like any other FF games. FF16 though...👌👏🤌
Huh, interesting. What drew you to 16 if you're not a general fan of the series?
