Tried & Refused Productions is one of the most reliable reviewers! No paid reviews or clickbait unlike Filmi Indian
I don't feel like filmi indian does paid reviews but i kinda find her funny like... She made 10-11 videos hyping up brahmastra (i am sure more than it) and she was literally too much into it that she knew that gonna change HiNdI CiNemA 😂😂 and when it came out she completely turned around her words 🤨 she did same with adipurush lmao 🤣 and she is bit too bias towards South films
I've done my fair share of clickbait for sure but the queen is on another level!!

I too believe that the remake era is coming to an end, whether industry folk like it or not. But for the remake-fever to completely disappear feels like a leap🙂🙂
Now there will be a bunch of Mollywood remakes from Bangalore days to Hridayam film of Pranav Mohanlal....
Bangalore days is titled yaariyan2...and Hridayam is in hands of Kjo to be presented as Soty 3 i believe...
An existing franchise is always the safest option...
Remake will be there but the big budget ones will be less.

I can see that Janvi is trying... With her choices in roles she is challenging herself which I think will give her more confidence in coming years..
She is trying nothing. Her father picked this movie for her and produced it. Typical nepo privilege.
One thing i liked about Janhvi's performance in this movie is her Emotional Breakdown Moments...the pain she felt when her foot gets stuck showcases how much she improved as an actor.
The physical pain is one thing but the heartbreaking moment with the little companion in the ice freezer really hit me hard. Not to forget, Manoj Pahwa hesitating to smoke that cigarette really was so well delivered!
@@TriedRefusedProductions it's easy for her to show those moments of pain because she has felt it in her personal life.
But given such huge launches one after the other, where she needs to work on her skills as talented people wait & never get a chance,
She should have worked on speech by now
But I get it. Why anyone would love a shortcut and not want dialogues.
Ya we are still saying this because she is a nepo. If she was outsider and had no acting skills then she wouldn't be getting chance. Indians settle for mediocre people

Why bollywood don't cast new non nepo actors anymore?? we just see Ananya, Jhanvi, sara ali , in back to back flop movie's..
Having watched Mili, I would love to see Janhvi do more of such emotional roles. She's fabulous in emotional scenes. The scene where she breaks her leg, the pain and loss of hope is visible in her eyes. We feel every single thing that she feels. The screams gave me goosebumps. But I think it will be a big flop on Box Office, because it is not a commercial film at all and bollywood audiences are only watching big budget movies in theatres.
But I have a gut feeling that Janhvi is going to get tons of awards this year which she deserves 👍
Makers should release the film on OTT asap because ott audiences would appreciate content like this
She really does shine in the emotional moments!
Yeah it's going to flop. The demand for this kind of movies is gone from cinema hall. Bollywood now needs really good big budget movies to bring back the audiences. I have high hopes from bhediya

I don't know how many times Anurag Arora has played a police man (Delhi crime, Fukrey, Oye lucky, Maatr, Paatal Lok, Kuldip Patwal ...) , but he's always nice to watch. This man is really one of those actors who can play the same role in 1000 different variants without getting boring.
he is so annoying in this film and all for the right reasons! Killed it!
Yes and many famous actors could not do same thing…for an example Prakash Raj as an antagonist in wanted ,Singham or Buddha hoga Tera baap…I felt the same person with different names…
I f*cking wanted to kill that bastard! If I were Mili's father, I would've slapped him the instance he told me to do what he should be doing!
@@dharmitthakkar5902 Hard to get invested in a role when you are being type casted. Prakash Raj is a brilliant performer but the only reason he was even cast in those movies was to increase the reach down south. He has proven himself time and again when he's got something to sink his teeth into, all those roles you mentioned are just generic bad guys on paper with no character depth. Having seen both the movies, I can tell she wasn't half as good as Annaben
I find Jhanvi taking on Mili quite apt. Even Anna Ben herself is from a film family. In that aspect Jhanvi put herself up for some really brutal comparison and criticism and I respect her for braving that in post film border times.

I still disagree with janvhi's performance or she did "well" or other comments like "she's sweet and sincere" or the "still hard working" has become code words for actually saying she's not that good. By now her characters from each film has been replicated and she depends on stock expressions for each of her film. The real debate is not whether it's a faithful remake ya Jammy..the trigger point is the original cast did a fabulous job and deserved nationwide recognition and yet again the opportunity was given to an already privileged Bollywood gang..dude obviously the cast saw the original film and obviously it's easier to copy and replay an already brilliant original performance than come up with one of your own and yet again a deserving performance by a regional actress gets overshadowed because? Because Jahnvi is the daughter of Boney Kapoor..I mean seriously you expect me to go watch this film unbiased, when every opportunity given to these spoilt brats, is an opportunity taken away from a deserving and hardworking regional actor..so no I will not be watching this product of nepotism..instead I will go watch Helen again and clap for Anna Ben's victory over the odds

Spoiler alert!
just watched both Helen and Mili back to back and honestly speaking, Janhvi somewhat overacted. Anna Ben was so much more natural and nuanced. On the other hand, from scene 1 of Mili, it was so freaking apparent how much Janhvi overacts in some scenes. Her performance once she was in the freezer was decent but she could've been more natural. They also skipped some details from Helen for example how the doors of the restaurant and the mall closing were shot with the background music in Helen was so much more dramatic and impactful than Mili. Also, when Helen burns her nursing books to keep herself warm made the scene way more impactful and emotional than Mili since they skip over those details. It also would've been more impactful if they kept the boyfriend Muslim like the original because interfaith marriage is a much bigger deal than intercaste nowadays. Idk why they changed that part. These details are really important to make the story more impactful. Overall, if you watched Helen, no need to watch Mili. Helen is wayyyyyy better! Anna Ben may not have been perfect but she's far superior ti Janhvi and Helen was more detailed than Mili too.
I just wanna say that keep on with the memes in the beginning. It's hilarious lol

I just love your channel because you are true fan of art n artist , you are unbiased and thank you for your honest reviews. In this opinionated society, specially due to social medias, where we are always harsh with people mostly Bollywood people whatever they do , atleast someone is there who don't judge them instead see there work whether it's gud or bad.
I like janhvi's acting and this innocence of an indian girl that she brings in. She's under confident which I feel is good for her because people initially don't expect her to come out so well everytime, although she has to improve but she seems to be going in the right direction. On the other hand we have sara ali khan who's marketing team has simply overpromised and she fails to scratch the surface of the character everytime...I had so much expectations from her initially but I don't know why I feel she's just not made for acting. One needs to be extremely humble in this phase of his/her career which I think janvi is. Janhvi as an actress and as a person appeals to me more ...be it in her interviews or in the movies.
I really like your reviews and i analysed your way of telling the things is soo good

I would love to watch jhanvi do something original and create a character on her own instead of just copying others.
The thing is, when you do a remake...you already know which scene requires which emotion and you already have a sample to get inspired from (or rather copy).
If only she dares to choose some original script, do some own character development for the role, give her own aura to that role I would consider her a good actor.

remakes r big no for audience whether the remake is good also . Vikram vedha Nd Mili r not at all bad remake but many factors r there that shows remake won't work now after the pandemic
One thing i don't understand though is why the audience is expected to just accept an average performance just because it was the "best" that actor could do? Not just about star kids here, honestly. Even if you take Kartik Aryan, Siddharth Malhotra etc as an example, i dont think they're impactful performers at all however they give "their best" performance like Kartik Aryan in Dhamaka or Siddharth Malhotra in Shershaah, we're expected to just accept it just because the actors gave it all they had? Especially after spending a number of years in the industry? Sorry but that's just not good enough. Thats my opinion though, each to their own!
I think Jahnvi is showing improvement but to call it a stellar or solid packed performance is an exaggeration. Seems like a case of unconscious bias that you start to develop towards the new actors and bring down the very parameters of performance to judge it so as to give them a leeway and go a lil less hard on it. However, improvement is definitely worth some praise, and for that she's done a good job. Just not sure abt the solid packed performance bit though.
That aside, love your detailed review and analysis - do not completely agree with all of it, but you're definitely the only decent critic out there, so, what choice do we anyway have 🙈😂

Hahahah, its a joke right? But maybe possible. The formula worked on alia so why not try on janhvi. The whole Bollywood has her back.
@@faridahabdrashid1543 not at all a joke, Alia is talented n also gotta good support from Dharma. But in Jahnvi’s case, she is not as talented as alia but she is constantly improving herself, and her choice of scripts are not identical to them, which is lacking in her contemporaries and also getting a good support.. so why not??? 💁🏻♂️
From 3.7k subs to 11 lakhs now, way to go Jammy!
😀I haven't watched this nor would watch in future. Because already watched the Malayalam masterpiece helen. Great acting by Anna Ben. Couldn't see jhanvi in her place. I think bollywood should give their star kids original movies and see whether they do better or not 😌.
Promising story 👌
The poster says 'boney kapoor's mili' i thought he must have directed it but then i realised it's bollywood 😅
Its a remake of a superhit film, of course the story will be promising
I can't understand . What's d need of hindi audience?
People r not ready to watch even good movies. I recently watched hindi version vikram vedha, goodbye both r good decent watch. Good Films like jalsa, darlings r released in ott since they know it don't works in theatres.
I think people decided not to enter theatre fr non vfx, non grandier films.
I think even if good flims like gargi, jana gana mana , sita ramam r hindi films they vl also make it flops.
South people really appreciate good low budget contents in theatres.
Like d recent tamil hit" love today " .
Please do a review of "Kuuman" Malayalam movie.
The Director of the movie is Jeethu Joseph (Director of Drishyam)
But in the end its a remake.
Audience be like Jammy ke pas paisa he paisa hoga
Another one is: AAJ PANEER KHAAYEGA
😂😂
The only reason I prefer Jahnvi over Ananya is because she is taking risk rather than just being the love interest
Its just like alia vs shradha. Shradha can’t act so she can’t take risk. But i think ananya can do better but she has less support than jhanvi do just like shradha has less support than alia
@@shamlaAK Ananya ko ky support chahiye she was launched by Dharma and doing all Dharma movies.
She can't act that's the truth.
@@Jigyasa14 yes. But i think she is still less supported than jhanvi. I don’t like her much. But she was ok in gehraaiyaan. Better than tara who I expected would do wonder 🤷🏼♀️
The only issue i have with jhanvi is her face. Her face looks weird, I can’t relate to her to a normal indian girl. She is like supermodel.
Hearing this is great relife from a malayalee who really wishes the improvement of Bollywood films
Improvement to janhvi’s acting, maybe but to the original not even close.
The intro with Saif Ali was absolutely hilarious , Anmol! 😄😄👍
Tbh janhvi is almost in a breakthrough now, non of the new generation girls are consistently working like her .
Irrespective of remake or bad movie if you constantly work or at least show some enthusiasm for working hard that i am sure she will amass more fans ....
I have watched many of your recommended movies and web series... and till now i have never been disappointed. Great work specially for promoting regional movies.
@tried&refused productions
What's Your Thoughts on the acting skills of Jhanvi after watching Milli?
Has she improved or still need to work hard?
You deserve a like just for those first 15 seconds.
You're good.. ❤
Can't say Jhanvi acted well... Jammy got paid well as it seems....
Hi jammy. I really insist you to watch the recent malayalam film *Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya he* it's on another level. Like watching an engaging and hilarious Great indian Kitchen.
kind of scripts janhvi is choosing and opting for change is commendable though!
When jammy talks, i think about rancho explaining about machines to his teacher, why even pure goras keep it simple but not jammy, am I the only gavaar here yet to watch this channel regularly...?
You're here. So it's a win for me, atleast for now lol
