The visuals are excellent. I was able to easily follow along and understand despite not knowing Hangul. This is the first tutorial video that explained how to lay down aesthetically pleasing lines. Best tip I learned was to look at the part 3D so it looks divided into separate panels.

Recently got into building and painting Gunpla. Going through tutorial vids and watching other Builder's work, I have to admit, watching your progress on the Sazabi absolutely TERRIFIED me! I'd say to myself, "This is too much" and "I could NEVER scribe lines, i'm going to ruin it if I even try."
However after watching this video, I'm proud to say that I am now inspired to do this with no fear! In the rare chance that u read this, thank you so much for inspiring me to shake my fear and make my builds that much better!

Hi! I know I'm late for this video so I don't know if I'll receive an answer, but I hope that you will read this comment: first of all, thank you for all these useful info. A really well done guide.
I would like to ask one thing: when you do the sketch to decide how to scrape a piece of the gunpla how do you decide it? Is it done following your personal inspiration for the details you want to add? Is it based on official images of the gunpla, so you take those details from the real-one and add it on a low-detailed gunpla model kit? Or you don't use a reference (like the first case, based on inspiration), but at the same time there are some ""rules"" about what tipe of line and detail you must use, based on particular shapes and details that you have on that single piece?

There are few subtitles but I was still able to get it. thanks for this vid. got some questions:
    1) how do you know if it is already deep enough
    2) Is it required to put in primer on the panel first? Does it help in deciding if it is already deep enough?
    Thank you

When the panel line looks good to you its good. Primer is not needed to make panel line, but it will make the panel line imperfections easier to be seen.

i wonder is there any principal when make complete new scribe ?,like geometry or you just do it as you like ? Unlike military plasmo, i found it hard to do scribing without blueprint, or real picture reference

    • @9S0dX
      @9S0dX 4 роки тому +2

Not really, it just have to make sense. Imagine how you would cast all the armor in real life. I guess there are some I follow:
      1. Mostly it would be obtuse angle
      2. A panel line should be a closed line, meaning it goes around and back to itself
      3. Short lines for the screws should be at the corner
      4. Less is more, don't overdo scribing

It is good to dig deep for painting. Because it becomes shallow after painting.
