Using the toothpick against the side of the part like that is brilliant. I use a mm ruler to measure length of lines, but distance to the edge is much harder. Great advice!

I can think of 2 other ways.
    1. Using tracing paper to create an impression, use this to create a template out of card stock. Tape template to piece trace panel lines on piece or cut with template on piece.
    Or
    2. If you happen to have a crafty wife who owns a brothers scan and cut, photo copy the scribed part, take copy run it thru the brothers scan n cut, cut shape out of vynil, apply to piece and mark it out or cut onto of vynil.
    Just my 2 cents

I like painting my panel lines with an accent color like red to simulate the "psycho-frame" effect, but often get a little paint on the Gundam that's very hard to clean off. Do you have any advice for painting the panel lines after painting the Gundam without ruining the paint?

    • @RAVIPLA

There is another more simpler way
Take paper glue stick and oil paper, use glue stick its not really sticky and easy to clean from plastic
Glue the oil paper to part u wanna copy from
    Trace it with pencil
If u done.. glue it to part u want to transfer
Retrace it with scribe or hoby knife
    Save u more energy

Have you tried the tape method? Lay down masking tape on the scribed part, use a pencil to get an impression of the lines on the tape, and use the impression to duplicate the panel lines. instagram.com/p/BkzubrzhKlR/

I know this method. But it's hard for me to set the edge of the end of the part. 😭 This method is also a good one. Thanks 😀
