Love your site. You know some of us , me lol, sometimes think Pastors are sooo busy with writing sermons and attending to members when they have needs, that we forget, they have likes and hobbies , to enjoy some free time tinkering and building , and building Fastback out of a coupe. Keep posting your work, doing that is top of my list to do !

Leaf spring! I’ve done every trick part ever made and going back to the basics has never failed me. Calvert has some of the best and will hold their own against anything

I have a question, when looking for a coupe to turn into a fastback so we need to have the same model coupe as the same model fastback we need to convert it too? For instance, I want a 1968 fastback, so do I need a 1968 coupe or can I get an couple for 65-69?

You don’t have to have the same model year necessarily but you do need to have the same generation. For example 64-66, 67-68, 69-70…

These videos are great! Does the x brace cause rerouting the usual exhaust? I use to have a 65 and I bolted on subframe connectors. Im guessing that works the same as the weldeding them in?

If your running the exhaust near the trans tunnel no, but unless you modified reliefs you really can run it anywhere else on the car with the X-brace.
