Good video, why not just buy a new Dynacorn Mustang Fastback shell?

I would personally add a roll cage, since most likely you wont be driving around with airbags. A roll cage with a 4 point harness is a must for safety. Then again, i plan on taking mine to the track. No back seats nessisary.

i have a 65 coup with a inline 200 6cyl have a 289 out of a 67 mustang i also have the 67 rear end but the axel is 2 inches wider than the 65 before i sell axel would tires fit in wheel wells of the fast back conversion kit also am rebuilding 289 to Carolle Shelbys Cobra specs for this car about 310 to 320 hp if i cant use 67 rear end what rear end and gear ratio should i use as i think the 6 cyl rear end will not take the torque of the cobra engine great job Scott and Bless you and your family

Here’s my question. Two identical years one coupe one fast back, both need quarters roof skin and trunk? You decide to convert the coupe to fastback. When you’re done, which one is worth more? OG fastback is not original fastback because all parts are replaced. Title??

My first car was a 1966 Mustang that I purchased for $150. in 1974. I worked the summer on the tobacco farms down in Conn. I still have that car and am going to build it again!!!!!

I just bought a 67 coupe yesterday the body is in insanely good condition i was actually surprised it has a fresh coat of primer on it and no rust bumps or sheet metal holes honestly the only negatives i have to say is that it has a lost title and that it has an automatic transmission but what makes up for that is it runs and driving fule and brake lines are basically brand new feels like it just needs new brakes and it has a 302 in it!! Picked it up for 4 grand of the forsale group

I love a numbers matching car. With that said I am semi retired blue collar and even building a couple conversion is going to strain the budget. I have a 385 lima engine that I'm going to build and I'm looking for a machine shop to convert to a 427 side oiler. Another big expense. After much soul searching I realized what I want is a car that LOOKS like a fastback but runs like a GT40. I don't care if it has to start on a pinto body. I saw one fastback that was 400 thousand. It was beautiful but I'd be terrified to drive it. If I achieve my conversion I will drive it EVERY DAY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE !

Actually a coupe converted to a fastback even without added sub frames will have a more rigid body than either of the two as created by Ford . Now in my seventies I regret selling my 1967s in 1973 when I went in the US Army . Yes plural I had both S codes 390 at the same time from 70 to 73. The fastback had a 4 speed top loader the coupe had a C6 auto . The fast back body twister more under extreme load...versus the coupe. the folding seat in the fastback had their plus but only came in handy if I was ferrying 2x4x8 studs home ..and for that I always used my pick up truck .

Save even more buying it in pieces when you don’t need all of the 1/4 door A and B pillar pieces

Did you set the pinion angle with the springs loaded?

Well I have a fully done Buick skylark 1977 sedan and it's fully FULLY done and I want to convert it to coupe what do you guys suggest?
