Is it just me or do trucks look cooler pulling something
definitely 😉
Heck yea they do! 👍🏼👍🏼😍😍
P
True
I’ve got a 1998 f150 and I’ve always wanted to pull something with it for the picture, and to prove that I am willing to pull something with my own vehicle. Obviously can’t pull anything too crazy big considering the max towing capacity is 6600 pounds and it would for sure be slow going but I still just want to do it
Eddie's gonna lift his Duramax soon. No doubt about it 😂😂😂
like your vids man
Eddie's waaaaay too cheap, he wont put money into his truck
Yes it can tow, yes it looks sexy doing it, and yes it got 6 mpg the entire tow
If you want mileage buy a Prius.
Ryan, in your steering wheel settings under your driver information center, there is an off-road page you can turn on that shows the grade you're pulling. Also shows what degree the steering wheel is turned, and whether you're in 2WD or 4WD. Also shows side-to-side tilt. Check it out sometime! You may owe Eddie a carwash on the right side of his trailer for that soot you laid on er'!
Thats a good point thanks for sharing the info with us
Of course it can tow. Hell, even a Chevy Colorado can pull that trailer.
The issue with lifted trucks with big tires is they lose torque to the wheels, lose mpg, and put strain on the transmission. And often times, stability is an issue too with the modified suspension.
Regearing the axles would help the torque/strain and the airbags help the suspension, though I would prefer a weight distribution hitch when it comes to bumper pull travel trailers.
At the end of the day, it all depends on our personal lifestyles. This guy looks like he doesn’t tow often or far, so his truck makes sense for him.
I get better mpg highway with my truck lifted and tuned than I did when it was stock. I get 25mpg with 10” lift and 40s. It don’t always lose mpg. With a diesel the loss of torque is minimal compared to a gasser. Most people stress about changing brakes. These trucks have brakes designed to stop 40k pounds now. Changing tire size isn’t going to make you have to spend 5-10k changing brake setup anymore. These air rides are amazing for towing too. And I still pull a gooseneck with mine. I agree......set it up how you wish for your own lifestyle. I disagree about the Colorado pulling that toy hauler though. Maybe for a bit slow as hell until it blows up though. So it could technically I guess
@@waynewilliams5353 right... when i slapped on 35s and 3.5" lift i gained mpg too
William Gresham it was a rather pleasant surprise 😂 my MPG is lower in city traffic, but I’m rarely ever in city traffic.
Great job. Towed like a champ.
It did impressively well for the setup you have on there. I was telling Eddie the same thing on his video
Where is the kodiak that thing is bad ass to! I remember u showing it in a old video
520_GM _TRUCKIN *too as in also, not to as in going to someplace.
Yours is a true air ride, what Eddie is running on his pickup is helper bags, big difference.
I was told the same thing...I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 with a 5.9 Cummins. It has a 6” inch lift and 37” tires. Everyone said it would not tow our 28 Toy Hauler...not only does it tow it but it has tons of power and I still get between 9 to 12 mpg. Impressive power with that Duramax.
You proved me wrong it’s not a “pavement princess” hands down looks good and pulls good !! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Still is. This truck will never see dirt or mud, this guy is a pussy douche.
Yes it is still a pavement princess ....duh
I'm a cat? Stop lying. I wouldn’t put a 80-90 k truck off road either
bro you sound like you're hating. straight up! Just stop hatin bro @@Rizzbulla
Nathan Spires then if it’s lifted and built for off road conditions why not put it in off road conditions
Great video! Nice to see you guys hanging out!
The more I watch that truck the more I like it. Great videos keep it up.
Eddie's going ultimate air ride! No doubts I'll see it on Eddie's life!
I knew she'd be able to tow that big beast!
The airbags very impressive! Keep up the awesome video's thanks
Sound of big diesel enginen and turbo! Pure earporn ❤❤❤
Been waiting for this video!
Only issue with leaving the tune up on the higher tunes is your egts could get to high and damage something
I run air ride on my truck, pull a 27 ft trailer, it feels good, from Wyoming to Arizona great ride, I didn't before... good video bro
That camera quality is something else.👌
Beautiful truck! People hate on big lifted trucks cuz they cant afford them
Most "people" who hate on lifted trucks
do so because they're generally owned by hard working successful young Caucasian men.
And to them I say tough shitz.
Yupp.
🗽🇺🇸
@Jase Anderson and i don't like stock height trucks cuz they look gay and boring
@@dpz9872 just here trying to figure out what the fuck race or gender have to do with anything. I'm a black female who grew up in the south and love my lifted trucks and Jeeps. Currently driving a lifted JLU with new tires and wheels, installing my light bars next. I love to see ignorant white men like you look shocked as fuck when I get out, dick head
@myisha G shut up, he said usually, you women always try to find a way to sound oppressed and its fuckin annoying, grow up. oh look at me im a black woman from the south and i dont understand what generally means, so im just gonna assume that when a white boy says big trucks are generally owned by white men i think it means women cant drive trucks, you make it sound racist when in reality it isnt and you just want to make a problem where there isnt one, dickhead
@@paulcapo7091 and I don't drive a truck, I drive you Jeep you dumb snowflake
Love the video got to give you guys a lot of credit, lot of money invested in both, thought you would have some problems. Enjoy keep them coming
You can tow gooseneck without going custom. Certain companies make the neck adjustable. That's how the diesel brothers tow with all there crazy builds.
Great looking truck, looking great towing!
Thanks to your awesome video I have looked up ultimate air ride and I'm going to call them now to get a kit for my 2008 F350 dually King Ranch
DieselGuyKyle Dieselguy nice! Let them know you heard about them from my channel 😁
@@DMAXRYNO you're an awesome guy
DieselGuyKyle Dieselguy one of the best things I ever did was get rid of my 6.4. Save your money and dump that air ride into your next truck
Dude, your truck is Bad Ass. I'm saving to buy and build a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD LTZ. Thanks dude from Costa Rica!
I subscribed to you three years ago for this very video
He’s not lying about bumper pulls and pintal hitches. Rarely do you see a heavy load on a gooseneck or 5th wheel out here unless it’s a car hauler. If it’s construction 9:1 it’s a bumper pull pintal hitch so they can have a utility bed on the truck they are towing with or a dump bed. This is So Cal at least and I am only about an hour and a half or so from where Ryan lives!
Adam Brown I had just shy of 26,000 lbs on a gooseneck yesterday. And on a weekly basis I have usually about 18,000 to 20,000lbs. I guess that’s not very heavy
That truck is on point.. I’m jealous love the rig bro
Watching the airbags lift the trailer up and down that was sick badass truck man good build
BBB tows like a boss 👍 man u got one hell of a truck.
Black headliner next? Maybe some diamond-stitched suede?
That would be sweet
Awesome!! Great build!! Can u give a complete walk through of the add ons installed after your trip to Mexico? Been seeing so many and lost in the sauce with it.
13:30 "so here's what were dealing with right now, THIS DAMN PRIUS"
Thumbs up on da video. As always real
17:30 I like how a cop is there
Aaaand melting Eddies trailer cap cause there's no ventures on the exhaust hehehe. Great video man.
A lot of concrete trucks and dump trucks run a walking beam for the tandems not very often do they have airbags. Only air bags on them is if they have lift axles
Eddie with a shovel !? 🤯
Great video
You should of put Dave in the hauler drinking coffee 👍
I need to figure out how to get my truck to comfortably ride before I get it to comfortably tow lol. My truck bounces around side to side on bumpy roads and just does not ride like it should but I can’t figure it out???
bolt locks are awesome! so much better than the master lock one i have for the hitch i keep on my truck.
Love your work man
Hey Ryan buddy, love you truck, it is bad ass. Question, any thoughts about getting the BBB build re-geared for your set up then retuned after it is re-geared? Hoping to see that you are thinking about it so that thing will tow so much better and have more torque going up hill.
😍😍😍AMAZING TRUCK!!!
I remember my first time backing up a trailer.
I made sure to like and subscribe when you both decided to drive it out to the road!
As someone with a CDL the main question when towing is not can it or cant it but when your towing something that large with a truck that high what are your temps???
mandalor merc and MPG LOL
My exact thought what is the weight and what the hell fo the temps look like
I asked the same thing. Anything for a view pathetic really.
You're*
Luis he spelled your right. You wouldnt say are you are would you?
no better feeling than seeing in going it slow and easy 😂
Beautiful beautiful truck beautiful ❤️
I bet the ladder on the side of the trailer was from Ryan 😂. Edited that part out though haha.
Wow impressive ride great video. And lots of power
You have the greatest truck ever!
I was just thinking in my head “you can’t pay me to ride in the back of one of those things” then as soon as I thought it Ryno said it word for word😂
That 300zx tho 😍😍 16:56
Ryno that truck is impressive as hell man. Damn near makes me want to get a diesel. I tow a 29 foot in line 3 place snowmobile trailer with my gasser on 37's with 9 inch of lift. She does good.
I’m running 8 KW airbags in my dump truck :) can’t feel a thing
Hook a 32 ft gooseneck to it an a 22000 pound telehandler next. I wanna see
Sam Joshua are you from the backwoods of Alabama?
Steven Johnson no shit dmax said lmao
Whats up ? Srry dudes i work alot. Forgot about this discussion. No im from south Dakota. Guess we all pull alot of goosenecks. Not really accustomed to the lifted flashy cali thing. Idk whatever. Each his own.
Sam Joshua i was talking about at 23:20 when he mentioned the gooseneck thing.
His truck is nice but a stock duly can pull better than that is one big truck my dads truck cam to pull that big thang
How would a fifth wheel setup work or using an actual distribution hitch and sway bar setup work on your truck?
It can tow... and it looks great doing it 👍🏻
Very cool, I love that truck. Just bought a 2016 GMC 2500 HD 4x4 Z71.
Super badass truck by the way👍👍👍
The truck looks Badass.
Thought about driving up to Julian or Big bear? Really amazed about your truck tho. Always been a fan of GMC and the Rams.
45 point turn never hurt nobody😂😂😂
Congrats, keep working your butt for your dreams..
Eddie’s rich rich 😂
The rzr and can am arent his, I think he said it was for a customer..
No his family is rich
He MEGA rich
Haha not even close, Eddie's in Debt, Debt
What kind of hitch are you running? My 08 f250 has an 8 inch lift with 37's and I'm looking for a better hitch that's adjustable to pull my camper around with.
That Interior is sick
I'm from Alabama and we do use a gooseneck more than bumper pull trailers. Even with your truck being lifted like it is, you could still pull a gooseneck. It would be a little tighter than I'd like but its possible
Such a badass truck
This was super impressive to me. Recommendations on learning how to back up a trailer? Would going to an empty lot and just practicing be good or do you just learn by experience
Awesome video!
Chevy gang 😍😍😍best looking gmc ever
Best camera on youtube👍
Its a bad ass truck brother .
WORK FOR IT
Awesome vid bro
You should have millions of subs man
Amazing!!!
What is the capacity of the truck after lifting it?
Alpine ,CA heck yeah fun times there
Love your truck man!!! How much did it cost for the suspension. Thinking of getting me similar set up a new ford. What would you recommend?
Now tow comparison between bbb and 7.3
I’d get the 2019 GMC Sierra 3500HD Denali 4WD Dually with the same Ultimate Airbag setup with stabilizer bars and anti-sway bars
6:35 towing begins
Did you regear the diffs for the bigger tires?
I'm new to your videos so dont know if you have a video of it but were did you get our interior done
What gears are in this truck? I guess it has a 6 speed trans but I'm sure it isn't easy on it. I have OBS ford with 40's and 4.88 rears I pull a 30 and 40 ft travel trailer as well as a dump trailer.
Hell Yeah ✌
What’s his offset/spacer amount for the wheels to be that offset I want it
that's the type of truck i would want drive one day when i turn 16. so in 3 years
I would also invest in a good sway control hitch setup since it's a SRW truck.
What made you choose ultimate airride over the kelderman? I'm trying to choose
Nice truck!
Just think like a truck driver, this is all they do!
That was an AWESOME Video Ryan! BBB did an OUTSTANDING Job (Of Course though... cough "DURAMAX ARE THE BEST") Thanks for Posting Bro.
PS. @ 21:05 I'm glad you were not on this side of the Camera! (I Hope No "Wheels were injured in the making of this video"?? lol ) #WORKFORIT #BBBBUILD
Asphalt queen 👸
Shovel Head trucks were made to drive on asphalt. Do you think they weren’t????
Are the stabilizing bars on the hitch absolutely needed?? Getting a 7-9 lift with a gen y or bulletproof hitch. I ha e a 23’ boat. Is the hitch alone going to b strong enough
