I do think you should choose T14 gen 2 with Nvidia MX450. Good choice
@@vietnguyentri1643 Discrete graphics heats up more and drains battery even when its not loaded. Even disregarding that, the performance of MX450 seems on par with a proper Xe implementation. The question is - did Lenovo trash it with severe throttle or not.

gen 1 amd or gen 2 intel better in terms of performance?
They're probably each good for different things.
Intel T14 Gen 1 could cope better with the battery life in some workloads. AMD based T14 Gen 1 model typically did better in multithreaded stuff e.g. rendering, video editing, etc.
I'm using T14 gen 1 AMD personally, wouldn't upgrade to the Intel T14 gen 2 myself as I'd need the multithreaded performance sometimes.
Both gets smoked by the M1 based MacBook pro in the battery life though.

You're fine. Personally I'd wait even if it were a T14 Gen 2 (AMD) - unless the improved single threaded performance is required. The T14 gen 1 (AMD) is plenty durable.

@@GreenGreenStore Thanks. but how long does the battery withstand for a single charge? 6hrs or 7hrs in practical usage? Lenovo claims 9hrs.
Check out the battery test. We got about 4.5 hours under the medium workload. Depends heavily on your usage though.

I like the one that has the long straight enter key. Not this bulky looking enter key. Lol

this usb4 only got 2.5gx4 pcie bandwidth....useless!
Would be interesting to see the bandwidth on the Tiger Lake-H Workstation ThinkPads.
