I have only ever owned an iPad and Samsung tablet but would recommend getting a Samsung due to affordability, screen technology, ease-of-use and speakers (I own a Samsung S7 tablet). Since I also have a Samsung phone (bought one this year) I also noticed that they both sync really lovely. With all of that said I believe you could probably buy almost any tablet on the market today and have a nice experience. Just compare the screens, speakers and battery life since those will be your main factors when deciding.
I forgot to mention that Samsung also include a pen with their tablets which is actually really neat. I use mine daily but thought I'd never, or very rarely, use it. I use it for notetaking, sketching, watching movies (sometimes using your hands is not precise enough) or when I'm typing (like right now).

@TruthTeller_Cameron I've searched but you'll struggle to get it for that price now. It was on sale and 10% off. You can get a similar spec laptop with a 4070 for around 1200. I tried to find one for you but gave up quickly. If it was for myself though I'd find something quite easily. What's your budget?
Great video. I want to add that one of the most high importance problems in laptops (either-render or gaming) are thermals. Bad thermal Management equals shorter laptop life and Thermal throttling. I think that you should analyze this thing in a separate video.
@@venomtang seconded, my old laptop runs games just fine but tends to overheat. So far all I've learned is if you're going for an AMD CPU, if it has an H or HX at the end it has the highest performance and runs hotter, HS uses less power than those two and U is the worst one (similar to the U for Intel: desinged for low battery consumption). But I'd love to know more!

@@Πέτρος-μ3ω no it hits it’s thermal limit of 99 degrees on the cpu and hovers right under the thermal limit of 85 on the gpu. Laptops are designed to hit thermal limits so it isn’t worrying me. My dad bought me an HP laptop that has i5 Intel. I don't play games, but I use it heavily for studies-Microsoft Office, and web browser. I love using it for playing UA-cam videos (usually those study videos with pomodoro). Although it's quite a bummer because I don't plug it in while using (because my friend told me to be careful not to use it while charging as it may deteriorate the battery performance throughout the years) but it's quite efficient and it somehow takes hours before being drained. Thanks for this info, Sir.
Just want to point out one thing. The higher the GPU series, doesn’t always mean higher performance you can take RTX 3050Ti and RTX 2060 Super or RTX 2080 for example. Although the RTX 20 series is a older generation than the RTX 30 series some of the cards from the older generation are still more powerful and provide a better performance than 1 or 2 newer generation cards. Make sure to keep this in mind and maybe even try bechmarks to compare if you’re getting the most performance from your budget when buying laptops.
This is actually the same as Processor, lmao. The 30/20 can refer as intel 10th gen or 8th gen. While 50 or 80, the numbers after the first 2 numbers cam be refer as i9 or i5.
@@nicolae-alexandruluca7853The 30 series have been on the market for 3 years now, awaiting for further optimizations at this point would be pretty foolish. 3050 is just a pretty crap GPU all things considered, both in its desktop and mobile iterations.

good info... but i wanna share something that DJs looking at laptops should know. Most Djs go with Mac models as it's less headache in general to get things connected as long as we're dealing with modern software, OS' and equipment. Any part of the mentioned items are over 7+ years could run into some connection issues with macs. The 4 main dj software are Serato, Rekordbox, Virtual DJ and DJay Pro. Traktor is another software that is used also but don't do what i'm about to mention in the same way. DJ software has now added 'stems' which is basically the isolation of a element in the track such as drums, vocals, instuements, bass etc and this is based on AI technology. These stems take a lot of power to compute and are usually processed in the CPU live, but if the laptop is an older or weaker model, the stems can be prepared for later use and thus it won't be as hard on the processor. Quad cores and higher tend to do a better job in live stems separation. However out of the programs mentioned, Virtual DJ sends their stems to be processed on the GPU instead of the CPU, and so this means that no Intel mac would be able to handle the stems processing live as Intel macs don't hv designated GPUs. Only the M-Series macs are capable of handling live stems- as well as gaming Windows laptops with GTX 1650 and higher, but RTXs are more recommended. Stems on Serato, Rekordbox and DJay Pro can work well on Intel macs with quad cores.
I never comment on UA-cam videos but this one deserves it. Super informative and very helpful definitely subbed and I’m watching at least 8 videos before I go to sleep. 💪🏼

Excellent, precise and well produced! Not to mention, your user technical writing and tone overtures. incredible! I'm a believer and just subscribed. Look forward to more videos. Thank you!
This is an excellent video, there's obviously a lot of points where you can say "that's not nessesarily true..." But if you want to teach this stuff to an absolute beginner, you'll have to glaze over a lot of details and just tell them the important stuff. As an example you can get high performance on battery, but it's not easy and it comes with a bucket of compromises. One key aspect that was skipped, and the only real critique I have of this video was figuring out how much power the user will actually need, and thus how low they can set their budget without compromising their UX. I can't even imagine how I would teach someone that though, it just takes a lot of experience with different PCs as well as knowing yourself and what programs you'll use to determine what's "enough" for you. If you can teach that, you might as well be the teacher of the decade
Can you help me decide?? Feel free to come and try it out 🙂” What should i do? Should i go for it?

@Arjun44598 Awww, some1 got triggered 🤭🤭🤭. Your whole argument is that NVIDIA is anti consumer, no computer knowledge needed to spot an idiot. AMD is a better value for money, making it suitable for gamers on a budget. Both are gud Cards in their own right. Anyone who sees 👀 this comment avoid making a fool of urself like some1 👆. Never knew a comment abt a gud vid will lead to a childish argument. P.S. LAST COMMENT I MAKE AGAINST THIS FOOL CAN'T B BOTHERED WITH CONSPIRACY THEORISTS
Great job explaining this in a manner that most will understand! Computer and laptop selection can be daunting for some! Again great job! Also remained fairly neutral on brand loyalty. What if someone needed a laptop for all 3 purposes, because you know they are out there!
I think it's also important to highlight the fact that some rendering suites prefer AMD hardware over Nvidia (the Autodesk suite for engineers comes to mind, although this is a niche so Nvidia cards should be fine. Just thought to let you know)
You can have both in the same notebook. AMD Ryzen 7 + Nvidia RTX3050, for example, works perfectly. The temperature of the AMD's processors is way lower than intels. Recently I do some gaming tests, and the temperature mantained stable in 58°C ~ 70°C in the processor and 55°C and 64°C in the GPU. When the the question is about processors, I always go for the AMD without doubt

Great video. I want to add that one of the most high importance problems in laptops (either-render or gaming) are thermals. Bad thermal Management equals shorter laptop life and Thermal throttling. I think that you should analyze this thing in a separate video.
Mm is there a vid you can suggest that covers this ?
@@venomtang seconded, my old laptop runs games just fine but tends to overheat. So far all I've learned is if you're going for an AMD CPU, if it has an H or HX at the end it has the highest performance and runs hotter, HS uses less power than those two and U is the worst one (similar to the U for Intel: desinged for low battery consumption). But I'd love to know more!

How about thermals? Any problems there?
This video is perfect for anyone wanting to buy their first laptop. Nice work!
The reason why 20 series is better is because they had more chance for optimization, 30 series will pop of soon enough just give them time
@@nicolae-alexandruluca7853The 30 series have been on the market for 3 years now, awaiting for further optimizations at this point would be pretty foolish.

Outstanding job mate! this is the entire material for a e-learning course that I always wanted to make
This is an excellent video, there's obviously a lot of points where you can say "that's not nessesarily true..." But if you want to teach this stuff to an absolute beginner, you'll have to glaze over a lot of details and just tell them the important stuff.
I found a Lenovo Legion 5 17ACH6H 144Hz and don’t know if it’s worth it for 1,150$

Just thought to let you know)
Nvidia is overrated. Go team RED!🙃
and ML workloads prefer Nvidia
You can have both in the same notebook. AMD Ryzen 7 + Nvidia RTX3050, for example, works perfectly. The temperature of the AMD's processors is way lower than intels. Recently I do some gaming tests, and the temperature mantained stable in 58°C ~ 70°C in the processor and 55°C and 64°C in the GPU. When the the question is about processors, I always go for the AMD without doubt
@@ListenToPeopleWhoKnothat’s why ur gpu doesn’t have DLSS😂Enjoy ur shitty FSR
Another example where AMD works better is linux, as nvidia is generally troublesome on linux, and amd works pretty well.
