Dr Jones , our cat was throwing up due to a blockage. The blockage seems to have passed but he has become anorexic as he hated to throw up. He drinked a turmeric ginger tea . We are desperate to get him to eat more and trying new foods . Ever since a vet tried to put our cat down due to a bad abscess I lost trust and rather try natural remedies. The cat with the abscess healed by having the wound cleaned with peroxide and colloidal silver . He lived to 19 . This kitty is 12, Siamese and has been in good health until the intestinal blockage . Our kids are talking to him about eating more and please to not die and it's heartbreaking to see.

Another great video Doctor ! ! It's so great to hear from you again. I subscribed years ago and haven't seen or heard anything from you since my search today asking whether or not Yakult was good for dogs.
I have a aging Husky/Wolf dog 7-9 years of age. He's slowing down way to quickly on his low level climb upstairs in the back yard. Despite it being heartbreaking to watch, this pain is compounded by suspecting that there is something that can minimize the pain he's in, increase mobility and address the cataracts that are forming. He also seems to be gradually loising his hearing.
As always Doctor, good to reconnect with you after so long. If you could get back to me on any of these issues, it would be a lifesaver for Juneau as well as a lighter load for this soul's heart. Blessings ! !

This could not come at a better time Andrew, my 13 yr+ old Staffy who I rescued nearly 4 years ago has had chronic diarrhea which I have managed to reduce dramatically in the last few days with an anallergenic 'veterinary' food from R.C. (UK). Before this, she had the blood work show elevated enzymes/Cushings.. When I rescued her (we actually rescued each other) she was on Prednisone for an ear infection. How long she was on these before we got together, I have no idea but, I'm convinced it was the long term steroid use that has caused her Liver problem? I am slowly weaning her of the steroids and have started giving her Quercetin (natural antihistamine) to deal with the ear infection and just started her on 95% Curcumin.. There is much more to the story, but Thanks for what you do!

Hi. This isn’t really related to your video but I have a quick question. My dog injured her cruciate ligament in January. That’s all better now but Iv noticed she has lost a little muscle mass on that leg from not using it whilst injured so she’s a little weaker/slower when initially standing up on that leg. What would be the best way in your opinion to rebuild a bit of muscle in her leg? She’s 8 in august if her age affects your advice. Will she rebuild her muscle again? Thank you for any help 💕 love your content!

Thank you so much for another extremely informative video packed with more critical information, Doctor Jones.
One of my beloved dogs, Buster, a thirteen year old fox terrier, was recently diagnosed with a carcinoma on his weight bearing, front toe; and his toe has since been amputated.
I heeded your advice about not ignoring fast growing lumps because they might be something more serious than an infection; and that it would be best to have anything like this examined by a vet.
After performing a biopsy on his carcinoma, and doing a few blood tests, the vet asked me whether I would be happy for them to perform an ultrasound on Butty's liver because his blood tests revealed.evidence of elevated enzymes. They said there is not a mass, and while they couldn't tell exactly what it was from the ultrasound, they said that most of his liver looks fine.
They did not recommend invasive biopsies on his liver, and they said that the elevated enzymes might have been there for a few years so I am very hopeful that it will be nothing to worry about. The vet did say that Butty is in great shape for his age.
I am just going to.put all this behind us and let Butty enjoy his life to the full, now. I could never imagine life without him.
Thank you so much for sharing about 95% curcumin, and for all the great work you have achieved, and continue to do so.

Linda, it would likely be more palatable with coconut oil as our furry friends seem to like that on its own. So far as the turmeric/curcumin is concerned, Dr Jones is recommending 95% Curcumin which is stronger than your average turmeric purchased at the supermarket. Here in NZ, we have to purchase our 95% Curcumin at a Health Store. Black pepper is also added to help with the absorption of the Curcumin. Hope this helps.

I got my dog tested for for all kinds of worms and even guardia and the vet also ruled out pancreatitis but she still has on and off diarrhea like clock work. I am at a loss

Wasn't properly tested - go back to vet and ask for special test( expensive) for Costridium Dificile - it's a different difficult to treat problem but without proper diagnostic/antibiotics will not cure plus it is transmitted to other pets and humans !!!!!

What I've found works for diarrhea in cats is Gerber baby rice cereal. It dissolves easily and I mix it liberally in their canned food. The more severe the diarrhea, the more rice cereal I add. One time it righted a case of chronic diarrhea overnight. Other times it has taken a week or more for the stool to gradually firm up to normal, after which I discontinue the rice cereal.

Hi mimi. Look up the herb Slippery Elm and see the benefits for dogs/cats. I believe it helps alot with their bowel movements (amongst other things).

SOS I have 2 very itchy sm. breed dogs. They both lick and itch endlessly. Gidget has yeast and allergies, dry eye, ear infection constant, Wiggles has been just itching the past year non-stop, with tiny bumps from where he chews himself. Gidget has been on prescription for her allergies with some relief. No bugs that I can see and the vet also said no fleas etc. They are on limited ingred. food, I've always believed in natural healing and I add oils and many of the other items you mentioned in past videos I've watched for the past several months...they are both still itching like crazy with no let up...Any other suggestions?

This has nothing to do with dogs or cats AT ALL.
But since you are a Vet I wonder if you can answer a question.
Can chickens lay more than one egg a day?
I had a friend who said if I played classical music during the day they would lay twice a day.
I didn’t believe him and never played music for them.
It’s way too dusty out there. (In AZ)
But I’ve always wondered. Can they?

Attention doctor but the spice root you're illustrating and holding in your hand isn't Turmecic - it's Ginger ! Chalk & Cheese...
Please be v careful as many people out there are total ignorants and may actually give ginger to their pets and experience extreme adverse results or worse .

Actually Adriana, there are many benefits of giving Ginger to our pets which are similar to the benefits for us. Please do your research before discrediting others as your unprovoked opinions throughout this comments section say more about you than anything else

Most pets don't like it , be creative - make a paste, hide it inside a small ball of meat , buy capsules / tablet form from pharmacy and administer directly in the mouth

I missed the webinar. Is there a replay? I need advise on natural arthritis treatments for my 14.5 yo lab mix. Traditional vets are trying to put her on NSAIDs. I went to a vet specializing in chinese medicine and even she said put my dog on metacam. She only has mild arthritis. This vet also had only 1 chinese medicine supplement for cushings. Can't believe there is only 1 supplement for Cushings that she could offer. I'm frustrated.
