It's gone within a few days (and the mark also gone in about 3 months). So I decided to treat my cat with the same remedy. He became a yellow cat for a week (he actually a white with black spots cat)...but it works! All his red bald/skin patches are gone and he's no longer scratching himself all day. Pippy is BEYOND cute ❣️🤗. Thank you for the great advice here. I will always remember; 100mg of CURCUMIN (not simple tumeric) for every 10lbs 👌. I have one question: Can I give this to my 4 year old dog for general good health? He was neutered VERY early as a pound puppy. I'm concerned his endocrine system will precipitate Cushing's at some point. I'm trying to avoid that. I have him on microdose melatonin at night for hormonal support, and I'm curious if CURCUMIN can proactively help him as well. Thank you!
Turmeric Curcumin is the best thing for Dogs with joint problems. I have given my dog it for a few years. Without it she cant walk on one leg due to knee problems. It takes 4 to 8 weeks to start working. I give her 1 pill a day of Turmeric Curcumin with BioPerine and Ginger for Anti-inflammatory. It has to be 95% Curcuminoids, very important. The one I use is Dr. Matthew's. It's $20 for a 2 month supply. Just 1 pill a day not 2.

I firmly believe that Curcumin healed my dog's nasal fungal infection. Which had all the symptoms of Aspergillosis . However, prior to gaining this important knowledge of this herb, My vet treated him with a high dosage of an antibiotic and since ,he has been suffering from a skin yeast infection for the last 8 months. Holistic medicine is a must to integrate in every vet clinic. For everyone's information, antibiotics do not heal fungal infections. I wished I had this information before I went to the veterinarian. We are paying a high price for this whole sad situation, emotionally, and my poor dog, physically.

Distemper has a 90% death rate. I had 9 cats who all got distemper at the same time, they stopped eating, drinking and long streals of phlegm hung from their mouths. I began giving them tumeric mixed with B vitamins, st. Johns wort and sea weed. 3 times a day for 10 days and all the cats recovered , one evan had her kittens that survived. My dog also had a large tumour and i put castor oil on it which shrunk it to a pea size , it was egg size when i started. If i had continued it probably would have disappeared. Castor oil has B17 which kills cancer.

The cough went away and now she is drinking and urinating to much. Ps she is off the mess what to do thank you.

A pet pharmacy person told me to give her that amount in many small amounts each day in her meal so she can eat it. She has pain when she poops becouse she screams. So so tommy must be swollen. And I want to see is is good to give her cucumura together with black pepper and a bit organic extra virgin olive oil for her stomach to unswollen and not be irritated. I feed her wet and dry food. But more wet food.
Thank you Dr. Jones for your awesome secrets, which you happily shearing with us :)
You're welcome!
My belief is that veterinarians don't get enough credit - until I seen a video on UA-cam called Ted.
A top cardiologist was singing the praise of veterinarians after working with them at zoo's - very informative channel. Thanks for what you do, and thank you for sharing it with us.
Thanks
Andrew when are you going to get another dog? Please take us along on the journey and choose from the available dogs from the local kill shelter. Show people how easy it is. And what a great thing to do. Please consider getting a Pit Bull. You can do double duty showing the why and how to adopt from a shelter and what fantastic pets Pit Bulls make. Thanks
Thanks and Yes I will be
YES! A Pittie! God gave them that huge head cuz they need room for that big brain! I've had all kinds of dogs & worked in vet med for 35 years. As a breed, they are SO forgiving. All good dogs
I amfrom India. I make fresh food for my dog daily: rice+lentil+ veggies (carrots/bottle gourd/pumpkin. He loves fresh peas) +some chicken all cooked together with 5gms of Curcumin powder. Touch wood he's 12 and doing pretty good. Only he has been having a recurring ear infection and is resistant to most antibiotics. His vet has found the anti biotic that's best suited to him and that has helped. Only because of the high humidity, it keeps recurring. Any suggestions? Love watching your videos. Thanks so much
What is 5mgr of powder,a teaspoon, half a tea spoon? Thanks
@@geoloviriot6423 5gms is one small teaspoon
Pippi is so darn cute. haha Thanks for the info.
Yup :-)
you have a trustworthy aura. its a gift
Thanks for watching!
Thank you!
So glad I found this site. Truly informative and easy to follow. Thanks so muvh
Thank you so very much for this amazing video. What a wonderful person you are! Bless you.
Hi doc. Are all herbal plants like turmeric, moringa, wheat grass etc are good for cats and dogs? Are they have overdosage if its in capsule or tablet form? Thanks for the answer. Your videos are too helpful.
I use the fresh Turmeric , pound it and put coconut oil and let my dog eat it.So effecrive, love it
Sounds goodt! What do you use it for? is it included in my list?
Thank you for sharing your knowlege
Welcome!
I'm SO glad I came across your channel! I was looking for a safe way to treat my dog's kennel cough and was far more impressed with your natural treatment as opposed to others that recommended using something like Robitiussin DM. I'm going to pick up some Curcumin for my babies, my family and also for my Dad who is fighting stomach cancer as we speak. You are a God send, thank you!!
Thanks
Excellent info - thank you! I have 2 older mini Schnauzers that they have these issues. Thank you so much again!
What about ginger powder? I read that it’s safe for cats. Could you please comment? Have you tried it successfully?
Hi Dr Jones Gosh I did not know we could have our pets eat these. I take it myself and the benefits it gives is almost amazing. I bought the liquify version so maybe I could do this for mine with what I have. Btw your ’actor’
is hilarious! Thank you for sharing
You're welcome! Curcumin works wonders for us too.
Tks for t advice, im mixing it with her oats for breakfast. Shes coughing, having difficulties breathing. It helps.
Love your dog! Thank you for the wealth of natural information. What do you think of the turmeric paste? Found a recipe using coconut oil and pepper mix into paste , pepper helps to absorb?
You're welcome! Yes, pepper is said to be helpful with absorption but I will not use it long term as it may irritate the stomach.

I LOVE YOUR DOG!!! She's READY for her anti-inflammatory!!! Go Pippy!!!!!!!
THanks :-)
I was giving my dog Turmeric daily, unfortunately I recently found out it contains high amounts of Oxilate which can aid stones in the bladder, so until her stones are taken care of, so I would just advise not to give dogs with bladder stones
Thank you so much! You are helping us so much in taking better care of our pets.
Happy to help!
Sir, by any chance do you do virtual consults? Of course we will pay you. We need honest advice. We trust you more than the vets around here. Please let me know.
Thank you! great informative video, love your dog! I will be trying it on my dog, she is 12 and has clear signs of arthritis, specially in the morning, and struggles to get out of bed, once she is up it seems to be ok. I will be reporting any progress in a few weeks. Thanks again!
Thanks Francesca
Bit late but did it help your dog?
Do I need to add black pepper to make it effective? Didn't know if that was safe for dogs. Thank you.
1 teaspoon turmeric powder mix with 1 Kg dry food.
I have organic Tumeric Powder I make tea with can I sprinkle some on my cats food she has a sore hip.
Xylitol is also found in some foods that are considered diet foods, not toxic to humans but to dogs OH YES, DEADLY ie peanut butter!! and some of use give peanut butter as a treat to our dogs. So, it pays to read ingredients; Thanks.
Thank you Doc and to your willing and happy Pipi on all your effort to share all these remedies and cures for our pets. I have a rottie who snores a lot so I hope you can talk about it in your next videos. If it’s a medical problem that needs further vet checks or not. Thank you.
Welcome
How long does it take for the curcumin to work? I've avoided giving my dog steroids

Since our great grand parents turmeric has been used to treat inflammation.no doubt it works.

I made my dog fresh mozzarella cheese without salt and he loves it .. pills are no problem if I have to administer a pill. He loves the warm honey water I give him when he coughs .. thank you.
THANK YOU. I am going to be adding this to the regiment for my cat who has cancer and one who has had feline herpes and uveitis since birth. I'll see how it might help either or both of them.
L-lysine cures herpes in cats. Mix 500mg in wet food everyday.
Can you tell me how you will get the curcumin into a cat? Thank you
Can I give turmeric with meloxicam? My dog is diagnosed with hip dysplasia and she is having meloxicam everyday. I am using golden paste made up of turmeric, coconut oil and black pepper. Can you please guide me on this question as I have read that turmeric and meloxicam do not get well together. My dog is 14 kgs and I am giving her meloxicam dosage for 8kg dog. I started giving her around 80 to 100mg golden paste/day last week for around 4 days but I stopped after reading an article that meloxicam and turmeric does not go well together.
Thank you again for all of your great information. My dog Hunter has Diabetes will this be good to give to him.

Dr Andrew Jones, how to treat reverse sneezing naturally?is there any remedy,if so please suggest me Dr.
I am from India.
I have been told curcumin or tumeric needs pepper to be absorbed and have also been told dogs cannot have pepper, confusing
Just put my 3 pugs on curcumin...thanks for your videos. I also just ordered your DVD.
Great and Thanks
You need to make sure it’s 100% organic or else it can cause terrible issues.

Is salmon oil good for them too?
Thank you
yes but Turmeric Curcumin is the best thing for Dogs with joint problems.
Everything I can find has Black Pepper included, say @ 5mg. I'd like to use Curcumin for my 12 lb cat with IBD. I don't want to give the wrong product. Any brand recommendations? Do I need to break open a gel cap and split it out to equal 100 mg portions?
Thanks. This channel is so helpful!
Look at recipe for turmeric paste for dogs, you add black pepper and coconut oil after heating with water the turmeric
Check your local Co-op or Curcumin
My persisn cat got bacterial infection. Having eyed n side of the lips red n swollen n some substance like pus as well.
Dr prescribed penicillin. It's working but really really slow.
I know curcumin is good for healing in human. Can I do that for my cat.
To apply under the eye.
N on side of lips.
why not buying curcumin from a bio shop and make the paste by yourself???
it is easy and you know what is inside.
1part curcumin one part filtered water add some pepper and coconut oil and then let it simmer until its a paste..
helped me with my migraines and now i use it for my cats.
Pepper for cat?!!!
I’ve had uveitis twice. It’s scary. I also started taking curcumin and it helped. Wondering how much to give my cat. I’m assuming 100mg since he’s 10lbs and suffers from allergies and it’s causing asthma.
It would be 10mg divide 100 by 10
Some curcumin are pure and perfect for humans. But what about the gooseberry extract of 150 mg or more in 1000 mg of curcumin supplement? How does that affect our pet? Please do reply.
Thank you doctor for such important information on curcumin. 👍
Not much information on 'cats' would have been nice to see one too...
OK
Can i mix tumeric powder to carrot juice witn honey for my Chihuahua?
Would this be okay to give to my senior dog while he's taking Glucosamine with Chondroitin and MSM tablets? and Tromadol? (he was just prescribed Tromadol)
Pardon me for butting in; I know you intended your question for the vet, but I wanted to caution you about Tramadol. It is of the opioid class of drugs and can have some side effects you should be aware of. There may be other options to explore for your dog. I'm including some information I hope will help you. There are many sources of studies about this drug, I would encourage you to do a broad search.

Dear dr.Jones,I have a chihuahua, and a pomeranian, can you give please the dose for each dog, that I will put in their food.I use for my tea the normal one,so how many teaspoons for each dog please? Thank you for being here, and counseling us...
Standard dose is 1mg/lb twice daily
Hi doctor Jones... how can you tell the difference between that eye infection disease udi?? You mention here VS.. Blepharitis? 🤷♀️ I’m once again at my wits end with my dogs eyes .. I’ve spent close to $450 at vets locally and nothing is completely working.. I don’t want him to have to be in a econe for ever.. but most of all I want him well .. 🙏
It has black pepper. Is that not bad for your dog? i know in small dosage but my dogs 82 lbs. should I use smaller dosage or a brand that does not have black pepper?
You want the black pepper for better absorption.
Pippi... give me the cheese please, please, please. Lol. Thanks for the information Dr. Jones. I'll be getting some curcumin for my boys.
Thanks
Hi!
I have 3,050mg raw herb capsules of curcumin. Same brand as yours.
They say turmeric powder 550mg and curcuma 95%, 50mg. My dog weighs 80 pounds. Is it the same dosage as yours? It's written 500mg on your bottle but not written raw herb or should I go get the 500mg exactly like yours?
Thank you in advance! 🐾♥️
Great info!
Can I give normal Tumeric instead of kurkumin? Thinking of making golden paste at home. Or will it have no affect because its to low concentration? I beleve tumeric is only 5% kurkumin. What do you think dr Jones?
Not a herb … it’s a SPICE ❤
Great information and watching you trying to hold back the laughs while your dog seeks your attention is really funny.... my retriever has cancer. I will get some curcumine today to see if it helps
Thanks
Is Dr. Mecola organic curcumn extract ok to use? Can you recommend one if not? I cannot find the one from your Amazon link n a previous video. Thank you so much.
Melanie
Thank you good to know. 💙
Dr. Evans what do you think about using Colloidal Silver with your dogs?
I have had many clients use it
lisa martin Dr. Jones...
Are there any brands of curcumin you would recommend to be safe for dogs, I'm not sure what to buy ? I have seen there is curcumin supplements specifically made for dogs as well, are those any good. I was looking into a brand called zesty paws, are they any good ?
Dr. Jones, my cat has eosinophilic granuloma, i have gone to many veterinaries and tried alternatives to avoid the cortisone, so far nothing has worked out. Is curcumin a help for this sickness? she weight 4.700, please help me with good natural healing recommendation.
It can help, dosing at 50mg twice daily with food. Consider topical coconut oil with licorice root extract.
@@VeterinarySecrets thank you for your recommendation, i will try both!
I use turmeric 50 50 mix with butter as a cream mix on my dogs fatty lumps thay went down a lot
My dog has lumps. We didn't know what they were and have no idea if they hurt. I have tons of tumeric . So I take it you spread it on her fur on lumps? I didn't think there was anything we could do about the lumps. Thank you. Hope to hear back soon
I just loved this video, whats the right dosage if i give it in powder?
Hi, 100mg/10lbs daily
Will it help my dogs inflammation in her eye ? She just went blind but her eye is always red, some days are good and some are bad
I cook my dog's food with turmeric. Remember to add freshly ground black pepper to release the curcumin to the maximum.
Pepper for dog?
@@daskapital3532 freshly ground back pepper increases the medicinal qualities of turmeric. You can read various articles about it.
She has been with us for almost 4 years, arriving at 5 yrs old, and has eaten home cooked meals from the beginning.
No problems at all. She arrived healthy, except when she would pop her hind leg out of its socket during a fast run AND those dark streaks running down the corners of her eyes. The latter is caused by some chemical in dry pet foods.
Within 4 months until today, her hind leg has never popped. The dark streaks disappeared within a couple of weeks.
Yes, I also add a dash of red chili powder to the cooking. Chili has multiple health benefits as well. It's not that much in a whole pot either. I DO taste the food,. It really smells good! What's lacking for my taste is salt. It's very lightly salted, non iodized.
Hi Doc Andrew, is 95% curcumin with bioperine (2600mg) veggie capsule/dietary supplement okay with my dog? He is already 9 years old. If it is okay how many capsule should he take per day? Thank you very much
My dog has severe arthritis. I have another with moderate arthritis. I’d like to add this to their regimen. I found some Curcumin brands that mention bioavailability, and have BioPerine black pepper. Should I purchase Curcumin that has this in it, or just buy regular Curcumin? Does it matter? Also, can my dogs take the dosage of Curcumin you suggested, along with their other supplements, Synovi G4 and Movoflex? Thanks in advance.
Our Canine Advanced Formula has also curcumin with it. You can check it out here: www.thedogsupplement.com/advanced/
Thanks Dr. Jones I am wondering if You would consider using the curcumin paste on a small older dog with a skin tag. I would appreciate Your Opinion Kindly Susan ...Love Pippy
Yes good suggestion and safe to use
Hi I have been following you for more than a year now. I find you to be a great help. I have a Pomeranian and I took her to get checked out with a cough and the doctor gave her medication. The cough went away and now she is drinking and urinating to much. Ps she is off the mess what to do thank you.
Hi,
Ask what meds they put her on, and if the increased drinking/urinating is a side effect. I would also start with getting the urine checked for glucose, and measure urine concentration at your vet.
FYI. There are tons of variations of cut cumin therefore, it would be nice if you say what brand to get and give a close up of it so that we get the same brand instead of thinking which one to get especially when there are ingredient we need to avoid that are found in some brands
Thank you so much! 💞🐾💞
Where did you order yours from?? I want some. My dog is only 5 years old and she has a white spot on her eye. My neighbors dogs does also. I thought that was strange. We both had that smart meter on our home. I had lost 10 lbs for no reason. I called and paid to have my meter removed. Anyway thank you for your help.

I have a collagen vascular disease I am human LOL A combination of turmeric Boswellia & Ginger (I also use quercetin grape seed green tea pine bark vitamins & minerals) Has kept me alive since the mid 90s. Glucocorticoids and chemotherapy do not work for me and I was not willing to try the Biologics. It’s the synergy of the turmeric boswellia & ginger That works for me. I frequently have normal or near normal blood test which I never have without the herbs. Ginger does the least but it is definitely helpful. If I try to use one herb or another without combining them it just doesn’t work. I have one dog with severe hip dysplasia although she is young and another dog with allergies and of course I would like to give them something similar to what I take but I don’t know if the combination is appropriate or available for dogs.
Amazing info! Thank you once again!:-)
