This is gonna sound silly, but I really wanted to tone my arms in time for Halloween so I have a kickass She-Ra cosplay. So I'll be writing down my progress here so that I can sorta journal my progress. Day 1: I'm not the buffest yet, so I'm using three pound dumbells. My arms are aching and I definitely gotta work on my core ^-^" Day 2: Definitely gonna keep doing this before work, not after or else I'll be too tired Day 3: I can feel the burn in my arms now. I almost didn't wanna do it today, but it's becoming part of my morning routine! Day 4: Owie. But Day four is done! I also got a step tracker for my cardio. :> Day 5: Did day 5 a bit late due to late hours, but done! Day 6: I found out we have a gym in my new work place, so I'll be using heavier weights. Day 7: First week done!!! And I change my mind about the heavier weights ^-^" Turns out I was doing the lateral raises and the one exercise at 4:27 with poor posture. They're much more challenging now! Now this is becoming a habit, I should be golden in progress from now on. Day 9: I missed Day 8. But that's fine, I came home after walking five miles, and I passed out the minute I got home!!! Doesn't make my progress any less valid. I could be imagining things, but I think I'm starting to see a difference too? I think it'll be more pronounced by week 2. Day 10: I instead decided to do this workout twice a day in the morning and then afternoon. Going good so far. Day 14: Oh my gosh, I got so into routine, I forgot to actually update this! There's a difference in my muscle definition now, and now that I do this with correct posture, I upped the weight! Going from 3 to 5. It's not much, but its honest work. Day 20: Week three has been achieved :] I'm very proud of my progress, and working out has given me better habits elsewhere too! I stopped biting my nails finally after doing it chronically for years. And I'm way less anxious nowadays. Day 26: Week four! Guess who upped their weights again! Now Im finally up to eight so I can REALLY follow along with the video!!! It's not much, but damn does it feel good to literally FEEL myself be stronger now! I have so much more energy for the days :] Recently, I've actually switched to another video, and I do a fifteen minute workout everyday from now on. Building momentum with just ten really helped. I might continue this lil journal thing here, but my workouts will be done elsewhere.
I did this entire exercise with 5lb weights. As someone who hasn't been very physically active for a while.. I LOVED THIS. I normally can't do all the moves in "beginner" workouts! So excited 😁
I usually do this with 5lb weights. Today i used 8 lbs and I cannot believe how much more difficult it was. I had to switch back to the 5lbs a few times but my new goal is to be able to use 8lbs for the whole thing (:
Simple and to the point. I love it! I also liked that her tone of voice is soft and encouraging, rather than loud and in her face. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Can you please be more specific ?😊. Arm Definition , or muscle grow. ? I need something that help me in 3 months to get toned ,burn fat and muscle grow. And female ,51 years old and even though I’m not fat at all but my arms look kind of skinny fat.
I have been following this workout for 2 weeks along with my regular walking/jogging schedule, and this is such a good workout for a weight training beginner like me. I am very committed and do this 6 days a week. I have already started noticing slender and toned arms, but I am also watching what I eat (basically cutting out sugar and junk). This gives good definition to my arms without bulking them up. Thanks for this amazing easy to do workout. I look forward to doing it everyday. :)
I have to express my appreciation for your arms workouts, they’re slower, intentional and burns. The shorter workouts are deceptive because I feel it afterwards AND during. It’s a perfect add on to my workouts. Thank you so very much for the high quality sessions!
I LOVE that your videos are not interrupted by commercials like some of the others. I hate having to stop the workout to hit the Skip Ads button; so good job on not having them.
I upped my weights from 5lb to 8lb this week and this workout definitely had my arms shaking! I just look at the seconds counter and pep talk my way through. Your workouts really are the best!

I have done several of UA-cam's arm workouts for women. This is by far on of the best I've done to date. It's ALL standing and provides a variety of ARM workouts and not overworking the shoulders. I love it! I am adding this to my routine! New subbie. Thank you @fitbymik!
This is the perfect arm video. Exactly what I was looking for. Uncomplicated, yet effective. It feels easy to fit this in anytime of the day. Thank you!
My wife and I are retired for 5 years and have been working out (aerobics) at home. My wife was never one to use weights. We found your 10 minute hand weight and have been doing that. We love your presentation! We intend to try the others! You are awesome! ❤
I hear ya! On a Keto diet and was shocked how much weight I've lost. Bottom line is I need to eat more and will use weights to keep a fit look to my arms! Don't need toothpicks!! However, the brain is a bit fuzzy, thus the Keto regime!
I have been doing this only for a week. Not sure about the muscle building part cause its only been a week but damn, my strength has increased manifold! I was able to lift 20 kgs off the ground and carry it for quite some distance, which i was totally not capable of before this! Thanks for this!😊 Update after more than a month of this exercise: really strengthens your arms and also I notice visible reduction in my arm fat. It doesn't wobble anymore and I'm super happy! I was not able to reduce it after a lot of attempts but this has helped me reduce it.
This is a great ten minute routine for someone like me who is getting started on home workouts with dumbbells. Not difficult to commit ten minutes every other day. Thanks a ton!
been doing this workout for over 2 weeks, and im seeing results!! im def losing arm fat and i dont have to put all my strength into flexing to see muscles. i can also kind of do a few pushups without being jello after! i do 6.25 lbs in each hand btw :)
@@beautybiz4242 no actually! its kinda crazy how fast i toned my arms. unfortunatley, i took a little break and my muscles were a little less defined but im working my way back up. i also got wayyy stronger! now i do 7.5 lbs in each hand instead of only 6.25. all you have to do is be consistent, my diet is the same as it was and i try to do this arm workout everyday, but if i need a break i usually take a day or two off. start nowww! its not too late

I had open heart surgery nine weeks ago. I started doing this workout 3 times a week three weeks ago. When I started i used 3 pound weights, but I wasn’t able to hold any weight at all during a couple of them. Now I’m doing them all with 5 pound weights!!
So glad that I found this one. As a post-menopausal senior, I waa hesitant to try it, knowing how much more muscle mass I used to have in my arms, but I did it, and not with the 3lb weights I started with, but 5 lbs! I'm bookmarking this one and look forward to the day when I can complete it using 10 lb weights.
Am so glad that I found your dumbbells workout. I am menopausal with excruiting joint pain, which I am determined will not beat me, want to keep my upper body strength as I age, but have been throwing around the weights with no real structure. These 10min videos are brilliant. Concise, calm and very educational. Am now so much more controlled with my exercising and also am using the breath in a better way. Thank you. 😊
I am a 13 year old and I used to do gymnastics and ever since I have quit I realized I gained a lot of weight and I have been doing this workout for two weeks and so far it works really well! I love these workouts and I feel so much stronger and healthier ever since I have started working out and eating healthier ❤❤( for the first week and a half I used a 5 lb weight but now I am starting to use a 8 lb weight😌)
going through a bit of a depressive episode and really needed something quick i could reasonably get myself to do everyday. thanks for this Edit: Back at university but I'm still finding the time to work out 5 or 6 days a week. i do 60 curls, 60 dumbell presses from my bed, 30 lateral raises, and 30 tricep extensions
I hope you're feeling better, i'm currently going through the same thing unfortunately (if you found this video hard i'd been doing it for a while now and swear it gets better lol)
Friends of my daughter recommended this video for arm work. Trying to get rid of my flabby arms. This was quite a workout!😮 I have no balance..lol...but I'm sure with practice I'll get better. THANKS!!
Wow what an amazing workout for me, someone who hasn't exercised is over 5 years. Easy to follow along and challenging enough but not so much that I wanted to give up. The duration is perfect, I can do this as a break during my working day stuck behind a desk. Thank you
I've been slacking off for a few weeks, and - even though I love my usual wo woman - felt like changing it up. I've done one of your 5 min stretch as cool down before and got the sense that you're a bright and positive person, just the type of trainer I like - and I was right 😀. It felt as if we were having a class together, challenging ourselves, being a bit more healthy. I've done most of the exercises before, but the small variations made it fresh. The burn kinda crept up on me - but I managed 🤗. I'm going in to night week at work, but I'll find a few of these short ones and treat myself to some health. Thank you for your kind and hard work in putting these videos together for us homebodies 🙏💐.
Fastest painfree 10-minute workout. I'm definitely feeling a sore post workout, which is great! I'm going to do what most people in the comment said try this three times a week
AMAZING workout! I recently got out of a four year relationship and I’ve been using your videos during my healing journey to self worth. THANK YOU FOR THESE❤
Found your page this morning. I’m over 50 and need to do strength training bad. Been doing it for a few weeks on my own , but this one I really enjoyed. A new subscriber! 💪🏼
Excellent. It's so obvious you know what you're doing, without your feeling the need to chatter non-stop to prove you're knowledgeable. Just positive, encouraging, and overall good workouts. Thank you!
Been doing this and some more workouts for 2 months 3 times a week and I see so much results!! I’m finally learning to love and except my body, thank you so much!!!
I only have one dumbbell available to me so I did the video twice once for each arm and I am definitely feeling the burn. I like that you go slow enough for me to focus on form. This is definitely a video I will be coming back to a lot! ❤ Edit: I just realized that you’re also from Toronto!! That’s a plus in my books bc I’m from Toronto as well 🥰
I started doing this once a day every other day since January 1. Today I was rubbing my arm without thinking That my arms are definitely more muscular. I had not done any type of weight training in at least a decade and was excited to see how quickly I am seeing results. I’m looking forward to trying her other videos as well.
Thank you so much for this video!!! I suffer from chronic migraines and have struggled to find a workout routine that works but is not so fast paced that it triggers my migraine. I can follow your routine all the way through with the provided breaks and I don't need to take a minute to 2 minutes break in between. I will be looking for some more of your videos!!! Thanks again 😁
You are literally my first dumbell workout in about 20 years. I am nowhere a fit person but I powered through this video. Thank you. I really appreciate your video being straight to the point.
Been using this routine for several months. Starting to see more and more definition in my arms, esp as I've gradually moved from 5 pounds to 8 pounds, one move at a time. Lifting slower and with more control has helped too! Still trying to build up my strength to do the whole routine with 8 pounders
I really appreciate your arm and upper body workouts! The duration is just right and balances what I've been doing for legs; a routine from my physical therapist. It feels great to work out with weights again!
Just discovering this video today. I'm reading through the comments and loving how people are sharing their vulnerable feelings about things they're going through in life (breakup, healing journey, finding motivation, working out for the 1st time in forever, etc) and how much this video has helped them. I love seeing people work on themselves, even when it seems like the hardest thing to do at that moment, and manage to get through it and feel better. ❤ I will be subscribing, watching, and working on myself as well with your videos. I am battling things within also and need something to help me feel better and get my mind off things. Thanks for the difference you're making in all of these women's lives. ❤ Let's continue to encourage one another in this sisterhood of life. Love yall, stay strong!! 💪🫶
So glad I found your video & channel. I'm 55 yrs old and slowing getting back to working out again. This was perfection. Slow & steady. I absolutely love your video. I just subscribed ❤ Thank you so much!
Just starting out with this workout, and I am now on to the 15 minute standing arm workout. Your videos are really helpful as I am now in my 40's and trying to keep fit. Thanks so much
I've been doing this workout every now and then for a few weeks and I really like it. I like her style, she is very friendly and motivates you with encouraging words. She always emphasizes how to breathe during an exercise and after watching it a few times I finally realized that and I started to value it. I'm surprised that this is her most viewed video with 4 million views. Given the quality, I would have expected much more. The choice of music for the last exercise is especially nice and motivating, you know it's almost over. Let's push!
The burn is real❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 I started this a day ago to keep my arms nice and toned, and I feel so good after doing her arm exercises !!! Thank you for posting your videos 😍
I love this workout. It covers a lot of muscles in a short efficient use of 10 minutes. I also find the timer running on the screen to be helpful. Thank you
THANK YOU!!! This really helped me out massively. I was put off by the machines in the gym and them being surrounded by big groups of men. I had to leave but finding your video in the changing room gave me the confidence to go back in there and follow this video and I’m so glad I did it!! ❤
It's hard to remember when you're in the middle of the gym and starting to get anxious, but folks probably aren't paying attention to you. Even if they're looking at you, they're probably seeing right through you while they space out during their workout. Reminding myself of that helps me just focus on what I'm doing and forget about everyone else in the gym.
Hi! I have problems with my back and leg. I’m on a walker. I’m trying to workout and I came through with these exercises. Thank you so much. You are so lovely and sweet. ❤
First time working my arms in quite awhile. Enjoyed your instructions and was really trying to follow you in detail. I'm sure I will feel it later. Again, was paying attention to your arm positions and appreciate you turning to the side for more perspective! Thank you; I subscribed and will be back! PS. 70 yrs old and desire to keep fit.
Thank you for this! I am starting with 5lb weights, this wasn't too hard for me, but it did make my arms sore. Should I increase the weight or keep at it for now? You radiate positivity, made me more confident in myself!
Love this. Super doable, super adoptable as a routine. I've been doing this 5-6x a week for a little over a month (with 5lb weights), and have toned arms for the first time in my life! Psyched and re-motivated seeing the results.
My arms are very weak and this was a game change its very good for me because I only workout at home and it was super easy. I'm gonna be doing this for a week. Thank you so much such high quality workout lets get those gains everyone 🔥💖
I was looking for an arm routine for a beginner. Your explanations are so simple and clear and you are easy to follow. I have now subscribed and used several other workouts. I love the way you tell us everything we need at the beginning and then demonstrate and explain clearly allowed throughout. The timer is great! I'm almost 60 and losing weight and your workouts will help me get strong. Thank you SO much!
I love your workouts. Been doing them for a couple of weeks and starting to see my arms more toned. Pace , music and your tone make these exercises doable and pleasant.
Thank you so much!! Your videos have made it possible for me reach physical goals that I never thought were possible. I have lost 30 pounds and 6 inches from my waist. I could not have done it without your videos. You showed me the correct way to workout and I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge with the world. It has helped me so much.
I do this work 4 days a week with 10 pound dumbbells for the past few weeks my arms love it it works out everything I want to workout on my upper body !!
This was the best workout routine with weights ever. I seen many workouts but this one I truly love and appreciate. Also, the trainer was amazing. Thank you so much fitbymik. 🤗🤗🤗
I always find myself skipping the push-up steps in arm workout video, because I just can't be bothered, so this was perfect! I like how the exercises were challenging enough to feel the burn, but not so challenging that I was tempted to give up
I love your workout videos, you are my favorite! I love that you just get right to it and make things simple, but change things up in every video. I really like that I can choose smaller or longer time frames and also choose which body section I want to work out. Like tonight all I needed was just a simple arm workout before I go to bed, and I feel accomplished! Thank you so much keep it up.
I going to give this a try for next 2 weeks and I'm going to post how am I feeling Day 1: I can feel the burn, it was little difficult but it will be better 😊 Day 2: oh my hands are paining from the last workput but still i made it through felt he same as yesterday Day 3: It was little easy comparing to last 2 days and i feel good
Ive been following a few no equipment arm exercise videos for the past few weeks. This is my first time trying with weights, mine are 2kg, I got all the way through although the last 10 seconds was a struggle. My arms hurt in a great way now. I’ll be incorporating this into my schedule regularly :). I really felt it but it was achievable. Thanks!
Love your workouts and that you skip warm-up and cool-down time (which I can add on)- I know exactly how much of the workout time is actually work. And love that your moves are dynamic- they're challenging and it keeps me from getting bored. I use all of the different types of workouts and different lengths of time depending on how much time I have that morning. I feel these the next day.
I've been doing this workout in the morning for a few days now, I never imagined that this would be what motivates me to wake up and get out of bed! ☕Thank you so much 😊
I keep coming back to this for arms. Not repetitive, not too hard, not too easy. No lying down. Straight to the point
How was it? Does it give you muscles?
I sooooo agree

THANK YOU FOR THESE❤
More strength to you❤
On 10 lbs 😅almost completed it but definitely had to take more breaks. I’m afab, so preeeeetty proud of how far I went 😊
Edit: I just realized that you’re also from Toronto!!
Two days in a row. Thank you, i hope to keep coming back and not lose discipline.
Love this workout. I'm 72, only using 3-lb weights, but it's really working for me. Doable but effective. Perfect.
You are amazing...keep it up. Good for you.
I'm 68 you have inspired me to do this set of exercises. Thank you.
@@cjcoleman5150 I'm pulling for you! Best, -dr
This is the first time I am doing arm workout and this video is super simple, clear and super friendly, thank you!!!!!!!
Been using this routine for several months. Starting to see more and more definition in my arms, esp as I've gradually moved from 5 pounds to 8 pounds, one move at a time. Lifting slower and with more control has helped too! Still trying to build up my strength to do the whole routine with 8 pounders
Week 2 and I'm already seeing results! Love this
I really appreciate your arm and upper body workouts!
Thanks so much
This workout is amazing, I've been doing it for 4 months (rest days included) I can see the difference in my arms and I feel stronger
Felt the burn, easy to follow, feels like its achievable...love it.
Thank you for keeping it simple effective and without music blaring!
I love this workout. It covers a lot of muscles in a short efficient use of 10 minutes. I also find the timer running on the screen to be helpful. Thank you
First time dumbbell user (3 lbs). The burn is real! Definitely a keeper workout!
I've been doing this every other day for 6 weeks, 100% seeing a difference.
My favorite arms workout of all I've done.
🎉🎉 I'm 62 and I did it!!! I'm doing these every day. ❤ Will update with arm measurements.
I’ve been searching day and night for a work out routine for my arms at home and this is so easy and I can always feel the burn thank you!!!
Thank you for this! I am starting with 5lb weights, this wasn't too hard for me, but it did make my arms sore. Should I increase the weight or keep at it for now? You radiate positivity, made me more confident in myself!
This video is amazing! I've been doing these workouts for two weeks now and I'm already noticing results. Thank you so much!
I just started my weight loss journey and I can’t wait to get started with this. This is perfect for my breaks at my office 😊
Good luck with ur journey 😊🎉
I loved this one so much I have done it for the 11th day now I now can kinda see my shoulders and arms becoming more big
I have been doing this workout every single day for a week and I can’t wait to see the long term results!
I'm 66 years old and really enjoyed that arm workout. It was just enough.
Just what I was looking for! Ten minutes so doable!! I am using 5 lb weights and love it!!!
excellent , simple , intelligent arm work out .. been coming back to it every day , noticing lots more strength , thank you xx
I did this workout for the first time today and made it through all the way! I felt so good afterwards thank you!!
Thank you for making this short video. It allows me to do some workouts in between sitting at my desk. Really appreciate it.
I going to give this a try for next 2 weeks and I'm going to post how am I feeling
Day 1: I can feel the burn, it was little difficult but it will be better 😊
Day 2: oh my hands are paining from the last workput but still i made it through felt he same as yesterday
Day 3: It was little easy comparing to last 2 days and i feel good
I’m right behind ya! I’m starting today!
Excellent workout. I am 68 and used to be in great shape. Life has gotten in the way, but I'm back baby! Thanks for these.
I absolutely love all your standing and short workouts, ideal! Thanks
It is perfect for who the ones we have vertigo. Absolutely well done!
Thanks!
Perfect arm workout after a cardio session. Love the pace and instruction.
Absolutely love and no repeats! I can see doing twice as I progress.
I love these workouts. Getting ready for my daughter’s wedding! The no repeat and different time lengths really work for me 😀
Yay!!! Day 1 Week 2 Thank you so much. These workouts are the best!!!
YAY so glad you’re enjoying them Nancy! 😃🥳🙌
Did you see results
@@kylahKaior yes, when I went for a flu shot, the doctor said please relax your arm or the needle might break! 😀
I've been doing this workout in the morning for a few days now, I never imagined that this would be what motivates me to wake up and get out of bed! ☕Thank you so much 😊
