I just love your style. I love that you're not talking about weight loss or toning or appearance, but which muscle you're targeting. Your instructions are clear and concise. I'm a fat person just looking to get stronger and move my body in a fun way, and your videos have kept me at it for almost 6 months now. Thank you so much!
I am 17, 150 pounds, 5'10, and i began this workout about a week ago. This is what I saw. (I am not athletic at all, my waist is a little wide (covid) and I don't do weights usually) I did multiple workouts including this, chloe ting and Lily Sabri which took 45 minutes a day and did some intermittent fasting. Week 1- Lost 3.3 pounds, my waist size hasn't reduced much, but I can see the difference. I am able to go up the stairs much easier, and I feel more motivated and happy. I'll update yall on week 2. Well, it was a bust, I continued for 2 more weeks until life hit me (I had exams), but the good news is that I lost 4.4 pounds in the span of those two weeks. Mostly because of the intermittent fasting and the continuos working out. But i started this weight loss journey again. Week 1: Lost a pound off. My arms feel great. I am able to lift heavier weights. I can climb stairs without exasperating myself completely. Will update for week 2 in 4 days. *(If you want a full idea of what I do to lose weight, all the workouts + the fast, lmk. I will write all of it down as well)* :) Please remember that these workouts should be done for a better future and a better livelihoo, not for achieving an ideal beauty standard. Please like or comment if you can with some words of kindness or some advice. It keeps me motivated :)
Hello, I did the workout for about 2 more weeks after the last update and lost 2 kgs (4.4 pounds) (did a ton of intermittent fasting, 17/7 in case anyone is wondering). I had a really important exam after that and couldn't continue, unfortunately. But I started again like a week ago, and I'm having great results
Hi first time I saw this. I hope you are still on your journey to be stronger and healthier. It's a lifetime commitment, so don't make it to hard. It's not all or nothing. Just be regularly active, just like you regularly brush your teeth, and enjoy being healthy.
This one was actually the most beginner friendly workout I’ve ever seen damn I can’t believe I managed to do everything without taking a single break or feeling exhausted to the point to just faint hahahah
I’m 51, overweight and arthritis in both hips and knees, and was able to do this standing workout, love weights, just need someone like you to give us a routine. Thank you!
I am 71 years young. I do hard core workouts regularly however I just had my second bout with Covid. It takes time to build up to where I was. This workout was perfect for gaining back strength while still working out. I am looking forward to checking out more of your workouts and will probably keep them as part of my regular routine increasing weight as I go. Really like it and the slow and steady is the optimum ways to go.
I'm 43, dealing with a long recovery from COVID (cardiac issues), and am 5 years post-hysterectomy. I've also got a lot of neck and back issues. Pre-COVID, I was strength training hardcore for 3 hours/week, and I'm realizing I may have been overdoing it and working against myself. Your workouts (specifically standing - so much easier on the neck and back!), including the slower, more focused pace, have literally brought me back from my lowest physical point, ever. You make fitness accessible again. Thank you SO much - I'd love more standing workouts! So grateful to have found your channel!
I always enjoy these 20 minute work outs. Its enough to get the heart rate going but yet saves me when I am running short on time and can't do something longer. Not to mention if you have a hard time focusing, 20 minutes is perfect.
You are amazing! I’m a 67 year old female and a regular gym attender for most of my adult life. I started your routines while I was quarantined with Covid and love them. A month post-Covid and I’m still exercising to you. Thank you!
I'm 47, and I'm 10 lbs over weight and this is an amazing workout for me. Not too strenuous, working on abs (my main focus) and my arms! Thank you so much for this, very much appreciated.
Been doing this for 5 days straight so far, definitely a little bit sore but my underarms are no longer "wings" and I am feeling tightening in my stomach. As a 59 year old who quit lifting 5 years ago, your workouts are amazing, easy to follow, and are actually showing results! Will be trying your longer workouts this next week :)
I love how she makes her standing arms workouts with dumbbells so much fun, achievable, doable and challenging at the same time. Loving these workouts.🏩
I started riding my bike 5 miles every day and walking a few times a week. I started this workout 2 days ago, and I’m SORE BEYOND BELIEF! I will start this workout again tomorrow! It works!!! In a few weeks I’ve gone from 227 to 205. I’m hoping this will tone me through my weight loss journey. ❤ thank you!!!
After delivering a healthy 10lb baby, I developed a diastasis recti with a 4-finger gap. I started workouts with another channel at 6 weeks pp. After a month and a half, my gap is down to 2.5 fingers, and I've lost 7 lbs. I figured I was finally ready for a challenge. So, today was my first day doing one of your workouts, and I gotta say, I feel amazing! Truly, I feel like a beast! Lol I've done many workouts over the years and this was my favorite so far. I'm subscribing and making your videos part of my weekly schedule. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this and helping countless individuals reach their potential. God bless you ❤
@Gena7486 I started with the "Fit With Sally" channel, specifically her diastasis exercises. I coupled that with various standing ab exercise videos outside of that channel. The standing ab ones were my favorite, as they were more fun (just in my opinion) and also quickened my results. Since writing this comment 4 months ago, I have lost an additional 35 lbs, and my gap is barely 1 finger width. I have adapted strength training into my routine as well once I was strong enough, and I started with just 5lb weights. Let your daughter know that it's not an overnight process, but she will see changes as long as she stays consistent (3-5 times a week). Hope this helps 😊
Loved that. Have been trying to find workouts my mum (who is a 'senior') could try and think this will work if she uses very light weights, or no weights at all. She doesn't like coaches who are too shouty, so this is perfect! Awesome.
Hello! So glad I found you. I love your workout routines. I'm 61 and started your arm workouts about 3 weeks ago. I moved from 2lb to 5lb, and now I'm doing 8lb weights with you! Today's challenge doing abs and arms was great! The results are fantastic. Keep it coming!
I love this one! I’m 56 and have have been working out pretty regularly for a few years, sometimes just going for walks for exercise but this past year really started to incorporate weights more and recently decided to dedicate 3 days a week to working out with weights. This is a favorite of mine. Thank you for putting it out there.
I'm loving these standing workouts! Been consistently doing your workouts for about 2 weeks now and love how you make them so doable actually started out with 5lb weights and am now completing the workouts with 8lb weights.
You challenged this 70 year old woman - and I loved it. No nonsense, precise instruction. Perfect! Will be doing my morning workouts with you more often!☺️
Great content! I'm a 51 yr old gal that works out regularly, I typically use 15lb weights, for this workout I used 10lbs, boy am I glad I did!! I love the different workouts you provide; different muscle groups being worked in different patterns. Thank you! 🤩💪
I'm so glad I found this one! It is perfect for me. I've been doing it every other day for a few weeks now, I can feel my side body getting tighter, I'm 61 years old so I use 5 lb. weights, but still benefitting from it.
This one really got the sweat going! I've been doing the light barre arms for months and thought there was no way I could lift 8 pounds but I got through this entire routine with them! Yay! On the downside, not as much ab work as I would have liked. I'm definitely coming back to this one for arm work.
I broke a couple of my ribs 8 weeks ago slipping on ice...this is a great workout for me! I love lifting and this was doable for me and I'm so happy I can work out again!
Hiya I yave just found your cha Nelson and am enjoying your workouts ...I am 63 yrs old with a little bit of weight to loose as well as wanting to keep fit and tone up ...I gave been doing some form of exercise every day ..(there is so much on U Tube amazing)..moderately and do use lighter weights .when working with them ...Thankyou ❤👍
Two thumbs up!! In my 50s and usually do yoga or pilates. This was a perfect pace, good music, and spot on challenge. Note for others: this has NO jumping or squats. NO floor work.
Loved it! Was totally uncoordinated and surprised how bad my balance is….. but it was first day. I’m 62 and post menopause big mid section!! (mostly) . See you tomorrow
WOW! Your workouts are so engaging and perfectly timed that the video goes so quickly! Normally I am counting down the minutes, but you make time fly! Thanks!
I love these standing abs and arms workouts. I suffer with arthritis in the neck and there is no neck strain during these standing workouts. And they really work.
I am 63 y/o, this was my first work-out with weights in more than 3 months. I liked the pace, it was very doable. I started with my 3 lb dumb bells that that was just the right amount, not too easy not too hard. I look forward to doing it tomorrow. I will look up your other video tonight. Thank you for making this video it will be very helpful... I am sure.
i have tried so many dumbbells workouts but this one is the best that i have come across so far. I usually tend to get bored, but this one i really enjoyed and felt that it kept me really engaged not only physically but also in my headspace. loved it! :)
Great workout even for a 65 year old. Was not so difficult that I felt I could not complete, but felt the challenge as well. I did not have 8 lb weights so had to go down a weight, but still worked. I did get out by 8 lb kettlebell and cal tell that the entire routine with the heavier weight would really feel it, at each will have to switch out a couple of times. Thanks for not jumping around in a manic fashion, with burpees, planks, push ups and crazy aerobics that my knees and wrists can’t handle. This will be in my weekly rotation and am looking at other videos to add as well. Happy New 2023!
I've been doing 20 minutes of your videos every day for a few months and keep coming back to this one when I need something effective, familiar, and not too sweaty. Also, my favourite sweater is now too tight around the biceps. Sad I can't wear it, but happy the exercise is working!
This was a great workout, I'm 64 years old and have been working out my whole adult life, this was a great one for the arms & abs and it did go by really fast!! Thank you!!
Thank you Mik for your mindful movement, breathing cues, your slow and relaxed yet effective exercise videos - it is really helping me a lot as I have back injuries so I need to take it slowly and breath properly but I also want to keep fit.
This was a great workout. Challenging but also doable. I was able to use 10 lb weights for some movements and dropped to 5 lbs for others. I sincerely appreciate the standing workouts as I have lower back disc issues and pain so getting up and down from the ground flares things up. Thank you!
Her workouts are amazing! They changed my life in a few days. I worked out with Grow with Jo, Fitness Kay Kay, Arica Sky, Heather Robertson, Move with Nicole, Caroline Girvan and others i think. But they all caused my body more stress = water retention! I felt horrible for years. My body was not lean even though i was working out alot. Miks workouts are just perfect! I feel great ❤️
I have been doing her videos for about 3 months along with healthier eating and cardio. I have lost 17lbs and have lost inches in my waist and have more muscle definition on my arms
Thank you. Finally found someone who explains the moves and how to do them. You are so easy to follow. Really enjoyed your workout and now a subscriber.
Just started your workouts and love them!! I can feel the burn, but don’t feel overwhelmed! You are graceful and poised with each exercise. It helps me stay focused! Thank you!!!
Love your videos! As a busy mom of littles getting back into fitness, I get an effective workout in just 20-30 min. Love the standing videos as I’m working out in a cold garage! Like the use of just the dumbbells for equipment! Thank you!
Have been doing your shorter standing arms workouts, and really enjoyed this one that included abs. I am a senior who is restricted to standing workouts with lighter dumbbells. So this was perfect for me. Thank you!
I have a total hip replacement, a bad shoulder, two bad knees and numerous other health conditions, I was able to do this, but have balance issues with one of the exercises. Great exercises and terrific video😀
WON.DER.FUL. Excellent coaching on form, great exercises. Great sound production, with the music not drowning out your voice. Plus, your outfit was not in pale colors, so you weren't camouflaged with the wall! BRAVO!!! Thank you!
i have started with the 10 minutes, then the 15 minutes, now this... it's good plan B for the days I can't go to the gym and it helps a lot !! Thank you
Great work out! The 15 second break is helpful for muscle recovery and learning the next move! The combo moves are great for working different muscle groups and avoiding over-exhaustion for any particular muscle group - more fun too! Love that there are no repeats and the low-impact nature of this routine. Thank you!
I'm glad I found this channel, it sure is a challenge for my age but I managed to do these slowly though I struggled with the lateral biceps exercise. It's worth it. I feel so good❤
I just love your style. I love that you're not talking about weight loss or toning or appearance, but which muscle you're targeting. Your instructions are clear and concise. I'm a fat person just looking to get stronger and move my body in a fun way, and your videos have kept me at it for almost 6 months now. Thank you so much!

When she said "last movement" I couldn't believe it was already over. Never happened before! Really enjoyed it.
same omg I was like is this 20 mins already 🤨
I am 55, and started few months ago doing these standing workouts and l love them and l am getting stronger ❤

I am 57 and started two weeks ago. I love the workouts 👌. I feel very good
Wow u guys are really my future goal all the best ❤❤❤
I’m 59. Same!!! ❤❤💪🏼
I feel the same way. I feel stronger. I do different routine every time I do. Trying to do 5 times a week. ❤
This one was actually the most beginner friendly workout I’ve ever seen damn
I can’t believe I managed to do everything without taking a single break or feeling exhausted to the point to just faint hahahah
My favorite one so far
I’m 51, overweight and arthritis in both hips and knees, and was able to do this standing workout, love weights, just need someone like you to give us a routine. Thank you!
Look at intermittent fasting. Worked a treat for me being over 50. Watch what goes in your mouth. I got rid of all gluten
And i was able to do it with a bruised rib lol

Former runner here. Having my second total knee replacement in 3 weeks. I SO APPRECIATE that you offer totally standing workouts!
I love how you focus on slow and steady movements. Thanks for the great workouts!

Yes that's the just one of the things that has drawn me to Mikeala, is her soft, gentle yet encouraging voice.

LOVE the no repeat and ALL standing. Getting at those muscle groups from another direction. Would love more of these!
Thank you, Mik. Loved this workout. I do my best and use lighter weights as usual. I, too, appreciate your tone when instructing us. It's perfect.
Thanks for the standing strength workouts! Us seniors really appreciate them.
Thanks!
You challenged this 70 year old woman - and I loved it. No nonsense, precise instruction. Perfect! Will be doing my morning workouts with you more often!☺️

Just found your channel and love it! I hate getting on the floor to exercise, so these routines are perfect.
Yeah me too I can't stand doing floor workouts
I'm so glad I found this one! It is perfect for me. I've been doing it every other day for a few weeks now, I can feel my side body getting tighter, I'm 61 years old so I use 5 lb. weights, but still benefitting from it.

Hi, I'm 70 really enjoyed your workout. The pace was awesome. So different from others I have done. Grateful & sold on your work 💖🌻
Thanks!
I love the verbal cues of how you should align your body and breathing during the workout. Keep it up!
I love these standing abs and arms workouts. I suffer with arthritis in the neck and there is no neck strain during these standing workouts. And they really work.
I love the pace and the focus on clean movements. I feel my muscles learning.
I really enjoy weights to music rather than counting my reps! Thank your for these great workouts!
I am sure.
Love this it was great. I love the breaks in between, you explain and demonstrate well!
I made myself a New Year challenge that I would do a 15 or 20 minute work out every day and these are perfect ! Loving doing them, thank you !
i have tried so many dumbbells workouts but this one is the best that i have come across so far. I usually tend to get bored, but this one i really enjoyed and felt that it kept me really engaged not only physically but also in my headspace. loved it! :)
Thanks
Such a great workout for the core abs and arms!! Going to have this one on repeat. So good!
Finally a great one for someone who’s starting out with weights thank you x
Love this! Would be great to see more standing abs/arms 20-30mins workouts, thats the only one i can find...
Love the slow, controlled toning workouts!! Thank you!!!
Thank you!!
The most favourite workouts channel.. easy to follow, and sweats...i will do every morning.. thank you so much
I always enjoy these quicker upper body workouts!
Thank you!
Love your workouts! Calm and enjoyable
Thank you so much! I am so proud I was able to complete this routine without stopping or modifying any moves! 🎉
Do a ton of your workouts and LOVED this one! Thanks for all the variety!!
I feel great ❤️
has anyone noticed weight loss/toning results from being consistent with mik's workouts? am loving her videos
I have been doing her videos for about 3 months along with healthier eating and cardio. I have lost 17lbs and have lost inches in my waist and have more muscle definition on my arms
Loved it!! And nailed it 👌
Time flies when you're having fun! Repeating I learned better balance. Love loden green, peaceful. "Do as I say (left/right) not as I do."
❤❤❤❤ love the standing ab work you offer!
Love this controlled ,steady workout! It hit all the right spots..thank you fitbymik! Am a fan!
I've been sick since my last work out with you. I'm feeling better today. Just completed my 2nd workout with you. Feels great to get moving again.
Thank you. Finally found someone who explains the moves and how to do them. You are so easy to follow. Really enjoyed your workout and now a subscriber.
Really enjoyed this workout. Couldn’t believe how fast it went by! Thanks for such a fun workout! Keep them coming! 😊💪🏽
Love all your workouts! Can't believe how quickly this one went 👏💪
Love all your workouts!!! They are perfect for me. Thank you!
Just started your workouts and love them!! I can feel the burn, but don’t feel overwhelmed! You are graceful and poised with each exercise. It helps me stay focused! Thank you!!!
love your channel!! these are so creative and really satisfying - love ur teaching style!!
Love your videos! As a busy mom of littles getting back into fitness, I get an effective workout in just 20-30 min. Love the standing videos as I’m working out in a cold garage! Like the use of just the dumbbells for equipment! Thank you!
I love these standing workouts!!!
I FINALLY MADE IT TO 20 MIN AFTER 4 MONTHS!!! I LOVE YOUR STYLE!!! KILLER WORKOUT SET! THANK YOU GORGEOUS :)
I'm definitely copying when I go to the gym thanks
Great workout. I love this 20 minutes workout. Please add more. Thanks
Cant explain how helpful your workouts have been. 🎉 Cheers to great trainer ❤
This is the best dumbbell training so far! Thank you
WON.DER.FUL.

Thank you
Yes, quick and enjoyable 20-min to start my day stong 🎉

Thanks Love all the standing workouts!
Thank you! Recovering from knee surgery and this focus is perfect
I feel so good❤
Tysm this really helped me because I am a beginner and I got confused on the around the world
