- Thanks for watching! What do you think about this? I like it! I think Huckberry did a great job with Timex making a few meaningful changes to the Expedition North Titanium that make this a much more appealing watch.

Just realized I've got an error... should be "3 Hz" not "6 Hz." In watches, they count each oscillation of the balance wheel at 2 events (2 vibrations), so 3*2*60*60 = 21,600. Rather than 6*60*60 = 21,600. Since Hz is a unitless measure, it's mathematically accurate either way, but the watch world has decided to split the frequency and "vph" measurements into two different things. :)
No surprise this watch sold like hotcakes. Looks great and glad you were able to get your hands on this jewel. Utilitarian watches like this are right in my fun wheelhouse, this thing will last forever. Great review, much appreciated.

For $375, this is a steal. Mechanical movement and titanium. Proof that a solid tool watch doesn’t need to cost thousands. I’m looking at you IWC MK XX…
Hah! I'd agree $375 is a nice price tag! With that said, I've looked at pre-owned Mk XXs in the last few months... just to seeeee how far they get down. Just window shopping!

Just got mine today! I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep it, but within one minute I knew it was a keeper. It doesn’t wear too big, even tho it’s quite a bit thicker than my Hamilton Field, and it’s very light so you almost forget it’s on your wrist. The straps feel great; I like the blue best as it matches with the light blue lume best. A lovely watch. Yes, the rotor is a bit loud, but it’s $375.

why do they have to be so thick it doesnt make sense to anybody to have a 13+ mm field watch...all my watches hover around 10mm and my thickest one is my ray ii with 13mm but its a diver 200m or my lunar pilot at 13.5mm but its 44mm case size so it kinda makes sense
Yeah, I don't disagree. I wish it was thinner. Unsure if it's b/c of the manufacturing of the titanium case or because of the movement? But yeah, seems like most brands could go thinner.
@@rockymtnstyle my traska summiteer is 8.75 without the crystal and maybe 10mm total ..its the watch that has like 80% wrist time over everything else...

I like Timex but isn't the fun of owning one the affordability? They are all supposed to be good and cheap. I would never pay hundreds for any Timex.
Valid point! But I guess it just depends. I have nostalgia for Timex in my late 30s and I think sometimes these more expensive options are there to draw people like me willing to drop some extra cash for some nostalgia. Even though I appreciate them and am glad they exist, there is 0% chance I'd ever buy a $30 Timex from Kohls or Target out the men's section at this point in my collecting journey, but then again, I'm not the target market. So I guess they just want to have options for many folks, and I do love options! Thanks for the comment!
