I just made this and it was one of the best mussels recipes I’ve tasted in my life!!! Thank you!!
Highly recommend this. I used 1/4 cup white wine and I would also recommend adding a green onion or shallots and also the temp and cook time was about half of what she used and comes out perfect. Defiantly making this a regular on my menu at home. Thanks for the vid.
I'd recommend using red wine next time instead!

Next time i recommend beer. 😂 😂 😂

heat is the key for those saying 15 minutes is too long. lower heat equals longer cook time. regardless, sounds delicious and I will try it!

Amazing
Cuz you are a profff cheff aliya ! Bigg hugs for youu
Looks delicious 🤤,
Perfectly
The recipe and ingredients sound amazing!
She didn't debeard the mussels and she took 10 minutes to cook them? Mussels should be cooked in the pot for no more than 4-5 minutes TOTAL (until they open completely). This is why her mussels shrunk so much. These are two classic mistakes when people make mussels.
-mM
you're alright and also I like to use some white wine in it and I am sorry my english I use the translate
Michael Montalto so true. You gotta debeard and then 4-5 minutes tops!
Michael Montalto teach me how to do it😭
Agreed
-mM
I can't wait to try this tomorrow
how did it go? 😁
Used your recipe today. I had 2 pounds of mussels, so I doubled the ingredients. It was very tasty! Thank you for the recipe! (Btw, it was a bit sour to my taste, I added a teaspoon of sugar in the end)
Poor little guys, all these years I've been eating them in restaurants and never ever cooked them myself, didn't realise they were cooked alive 😢 somehow I feel bad all of a sudden, how is it this day I feel sorry for mussels. Of course, them being so delicious I will still eat them but with a heavy and broken heart
That s beautiful that reminds me of baoush or ghoulal .do u know how to make it am crazy about it I wish they have it in corea . PLeaaaase
I am a cool, healthy chef from Jordan to Badawi. I am ready for the international diet

Mahbub Kabir so glad you liked it!!!
+cookingwithalia is this haram
+Fayyaz Hossain we are talking about an amazing recipe, not your 1400 year-old taboo ;)
Hey Thalia, i luv your recipe n i'm about to cook the same thing. But is it ok if i use cooked mussels that i bought from supermarket?
no, it wont be the same and they will be overcooked.
Just cooked these bad boys up.. a great feast ;)
I just did your recipe and it's marvelously rich and tasty...we're having it for dinner....thank you
so glad you liked it :-)
Tomato+cumin, surprise! So tasty!
i want to try it tomorrow... i will let you know if i make it same as what you did..
Can i put this on top of linguine or spaghetti or will i have to add more sauce/seasoning? :)
very nice
can we use veg oil if we don't have olive oil?
I tried the recipe with some changes. Instead of parsley, used coriander leaves and added mussels without shell.
It was fantastic.
Thanks for the recipe.
Tried this one year ago and cant believe i waiting so long to try again .... great tips, re dead muscles !
I did this recipe, delicious. I however added Pepper flakes, for a little heat. If you like it a bit spicy, try it.
love you back :-)
I must say I was skeptical until she tasted them for me. :)
I'm going to try her recipe this weekend, if I don't return something happened.
U didn't return, u good bro?:(
Alia! you was in masterchef! :D

Steamed Mussels are very typical recipe in the Philippines so to make it special, specially today Christmas eve i'm gonna do this. but i think i should add Ginger. -.-
thanks alia :)
"here we have chopped garlic, YUM!" "thats a good sign because they're dying" sorry, i cant contain my burst of laughter in those parts! HAHAHAHA i will eat this with RICE HAHAHA! Thank you for the Delicious food maam! ❤️
Alia you look so good in this video! Glad you're doing so well in Korea :]

@@MsheridanZ Yeah so?
@@MsheridanZ You’re old XD
I am not a pro, but I've seen in most mussel recipes, they are only cooked in a couple of minutes, or else they shrink and get rubbery. Couldn't you cook the sauce for 10 min and ad the mussels 5 minutes before serving?
The sauce is so tasty it can be eaten alone with crusted bread
+Ayoub El Asry I gotta give it to the Arabic cuisine! They know how to make food!
15 mind is too long for mussels . It becomes rubbery
Matt Clark ok
It’s a general Mediterranean dish. My Southern Italian family does this with a bit less paprika/cumin.
heading to the market to get the ingredients!!!
Can I use fresh water mussels?
Do you have a recipe for buttery mussels?

I must try this spice blend asap! Mussles are really easy to cook, the only tricky part is cleaning them... Here in italy there very few fish mongers that provide the cleaning machine service... Otherwise i'd eat them more often!
nice ..... though i hsvent ever eaten them...
I saw you in the MASTERCHEF in Poland. :)
Yay!!! thank you for stopping by my UA-cam channel :-)
I'll stay here, because you're very nice and friendly. :) :)
***** Thank you! it means a lot to me :-)
Most mussel recipes I know involve cooking wine and my understand from Chinese seafood cooking is the wine counters the typical sea food 'stench'. Does the use of cumin/paprika serve this purpose, on top of flavouring, in a Moroccan cuisine?
Thanks!
BLESSINGS to my BELOVED sister. Do you have a recipe using a authentic Tajin ? Can you post please. Thank you for posting. Another is cos cous.
She never took the Barnacles off
