every Moroccan family owns a tagine (similar to the one in the video). We still use it! on an everyday basis, the pressure cooker is what is used to cook meals, but on occasions we use the tagine. It also depends on the area (city vs. outside the city). If you go the mountains or farms, people use tagine more frequently (because they have more time) while city people use pots because it's quicker.
Alia - My husband is from Morocco. The 3 times that I have been there his sisters made sardine tajine... it's my absolute favorite. Could you please show us how to make it?

Just found your feed a few days ago, but I'm so happy to have found you at last!! Morocco is not a place I know much about, and certainly not about your cuisine! But I'm on my way to the local grocer to pick up the ingredients for this dish right now.

I am so glad I found your channel, you are awsome. Can't wait to dry this dish.
That looks fantastic! Yum
I have made this tagine twice now in two weeks (!!) and it's soooo yummy, it is also fool proof just make sure there as little water as possible before adding your seafood and the rest takes care of itself. Thanks Alia :)
the meatball sauce is different, it has onions, which brings that special sweetness to the sauce. if you want to make it with meatballs, check out my other recipe: "Moroccan Tajine of Kefta with Eggs"

If all people eat tagine's ALIA , there was never war in world
if you use canned crushed tomatoes its faster to reduce the water and get thicker
yummm!!!!! look like seafood curry :)))
Dear Alia where can I buy grilling plate, can you please post a link?
hi alia can i use chicken instead of seafood?
thank you
you could actually, now that I am thinking about it :-)
I like your tagine
could you add any lemon juice to the sauce?
ًWoW Very Tasty and very delicious
pita bread is too flat - you will need a thicker bread to absorb the sauce.
What happened to the volume at the end?
Hi, I am interested to know, do Moroccans still use the tajine to cook in Morocco, or have they changed to using metal pots and pans for all cooking? Thanks.
MrKaerf we still use tagine .it's a moroccan tradition
I love you so much

what is the diameter of your Tagine?
that must be 15'' or 17"
I'm ravenous!!!!!
It will be very nice if you invite us next time, we will feel home ;)
Brahim Essaleh LOL
There was no point in cooking that in a tagine at all! What's the point of the Los if it's off the whole time?
That is not how you make seafood tajine at all. The ingridients are totally different, unless you made this recipe up.
Seafood tagine, as opposed to fish tagine, is a recent innovation and there's no classic way to do it. I've tried it this way in the port of Agadir and it was delicious!
I dont understand why there has to be a fixed way to cook a certain dish. Even people coming from one household learned it all the same way from their mom or whoever, once they move out and have their own family will give their own twist on all their cooking.
Let alone people from. The same country but from different regions and different tastes.
Relax..
