- Millicent and Lt. Forbes are seen together after dark. In their conversation, we find that they have been doing this for a while and Millicent is not ready for her family to know. She is concerned when Barnabas joins them. Barnabas asks Millicent to have Josette meet him the next morning at 9 a.m. The next morning, Millicent comes to tell Barnabas and Natalie forbids a meeting between Josette and Barnabas. A nice scene as Millicent tells Barnabas that she is very fond of Forbes but Barnabas cautions her about Forbes and his intentions.

Women had to abide by different and much stricter standards than men. In many ways, they still do in some circles. Men had far more freedom. Quentin didn't care if he compromised Beth in 1897.
The Angelique “spell” music is iconic
❤🎶🎼🎵❤
Truly iconic! The musical scores within DS are all iconic!
Barnabas should have told the Counties
Its countess.
I like the way they are presenting the Countess. More character development ☺️
Angelique would have loved modern-day China's surveillance system!
😂😂😂👍🏻
Yes....an eye in the sky!!
Millicent is right about Josett. That annoying bat noise in the background 😂. What gem this show is❤.
When I heard the noise I thought "the rubber bat!!!!!! ❤"
I love the fact that your video releases tell the story in sequential order but I encourage you to put some kind of sequence number at the beginning of the description instead of "NEW" - they all say that. The only date that UA-cam shows when suggesting a video is "1
Month Ago" so in a month these will all show the same thing. Can this series have a unique playlist before you move on to another time period?
As a Military Veteran (U.S. Army) I can't help but point out that Lt. Forbes' committment to his Naval Duties are extremely minimal at best...! For, apparently he has nothing more pressing than to be busybodying about Collinwood Manor, and wandering around the Dark Countryside constantly meddling into the affairs of Others... !! Alas, t'would seem the Department of the Navy has little reach or concern into the behavior of their Naval Attache at the Mysterious Collinsport Shipyard... !
😅❤
Soap opera military characters RARELY act like real military characters. 🙄🤣
But it must be harder to overlook given that you totally can see it.
Addison Powell makes his first appearance on D.S. as Judge Matigan and Peter Bradford stands silently in the background.
My favorite is suki forbes coming in the picture soon, the beautiful Jane Draper.
Poor Barnabas is in a bind...he knows he can't reveal that Angelique is the witch without putting people's lives in danger (especially Josette).
He tries to convince Natalie to take Josette away, but the Countess will not listen to him.
Barnabas arranges for a judge to meet with Vicki to discuss taking on her case. The meeting takes a sharp turn which will not bode well for Vicki.
BTW, where the heck did Andre disappear to? I know they said he was away on business in New York, but from here on out, we never see him again. Wouldn't he have wanted to find out what happened to his daughter?
Nathan continues his courtship of Millicent. Poor dear, ditzy Millicent, you will have other things to worry about other than your reputation before long!
Unfortunately this is the last we see of David Ford in this storyline. He will make his final return in present day 1968 as Sam Evans.
Millicent 😂no one cares who ur with or what time go live a little
“I’m not a lady”. Recognizing that you have a problem is the first step toward recovery 😂
@@pjesf🤣good one
Now we are getting to the part where Nathan Forbes starts to get arrogent, greedy, macho and pushy with Millicent.
Angelique whips up her toy bat 🦇 on everyready batteries to keep the eyes 👀 on Barnabas's every move.
Isn't Nathan married to Suki?
@@melissajenniferjones9959 Yes. A very important detail that he surely didn't want to mention to Millicent if he is get his hands on the Collins fortune.
@@melissajenniferjones9959Suki is more better built and not as flighty as Millicent. Nathan uses his women as pawns as does one in a chess game.
