“You thought you knew everything about death, didn’t you?” What a great line…what a great scene.

I always thought Jonathan Frid was actually amused and about to laugh when he asks, "Why does the devil always want to touch you?"

Was at Gencon yesterday and found an autographed picture of Kathryn and a number of autographs on a House of Dark Shadows movie poster. The booth owner was very friendly and we talked DS for at least 5 minutes even though they were busy. A good day.

Awww don't be like that she was just old and Lonesome and didn't really know anything about anybody I don't think she knew how to do anything but to be old and judge people how lived her life that was sad she had to die like that because Angelique started all this with her evil ass but she got hers too jealousy is still a "mother f" today but you are right Abigail was too much Barnabas almost laughed and messed up the scene but he held it together why does the devil always want to touch you Abigail aint nobody want to touch that "oldHANTE"😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Vicky was innocent if I could have gotten my hands on Angelique I would have threw holy water all over her ass that was a dirty no-good huzzy and Barnabas was vulnerable and insecure I've been a dark shadows fan so long I forgot if you are a billionaire you couldn't pay me enough to stay at Collinwood

It's too bad Barnabas didn't put Abigail under his power and then have her mess up the trial against Vicki.
That would have been fun to watch lol

I love how Daniel backtalks to Abigail. Little wonder he prefers Vicki, as well as Naomi, to snotty Abigail's company.
Vicki was even more foolish than I thought. She had to go blabbing about all the technological advancements of the future to the children. How did she know they wouldn't have told the adults what she had said? I mean up to now, Daniel kept his mouth shut, but Vicki had no way of knowing for sure that he and Sarah would keep quiet.
Abigail's snooping got her to find out the most terrible secret of the Collins family. It was satisfying seeing her scream her lungs out at the sight of Barnabas rising out of his coffin.
Someone once said on a DS forum a few years back that they admired Abigail for sticking to her guns for still believing Vicki was the witch right up to the moment of her death, even after Barnabas told her Angelique had been responsible for all the tragedies, whereas Trask (SPOILER ALERT) pretty much folded and signed the confession that Vicki was innocent at Barnabas' 'urging'.
I don't find it so admirable that a supposedly Christian woman like Abigail can't bring herself to admit that she could be wrong about anything. Frightened as she was at the presence of her undead nephew, she remained stubborn and prideful up to the end, two very big sins. I think her downfall was inevitable, one way or another.

I think Abigail is doomed, she may not be able to say anything more to hurt Vicki.

Barnabas chewed up ole Abigail into a mangled rag doll and left her old carcass on the stairs for the rats. Lol!

I understand Vicky ' s shock , she was in a sceance that drop her into the past ... But how could she talk like that to small children ?
What they would learn if they had an idea about the future ?
Victoria could also talk about nuclear power .
    She was a real fool.
Pretty , elegant , nice and a decent girl... but such a big mouth !

Dark shadows was a great show up until it started going in the past and back time after time, that was the shows downfall.

Disagree. The 1795, 1897 and 1840 storylines is what showed what life was like with the Collins ancestors. I didn't care too much for 1841 Parallel Time. The main actors on D.S. had the opportunity to really display their talents playing other roles which I found to very interesting.

I actually loved it whenever the show went back in time. Heck, I even enjoyed 1841 Parallel Time (I know I'm in the minority on that).
Ratings were great during 1795, they hit the roof during 1897, and even though they dropped somewhat during the Leviathan and 1970 Parallel Time storylines, 1840 did regain some of those ratings.
So it's not true to say that the trips back in time led to the show's decline, when they were actually quite popular when the show still aired.

@@richardmadison6312 I find the past and the future woven together is one of the shows greatest attributes but I can also see where that would not be of interest to some folks.
