Girl! I fit kitchens, please ask for the cut out above the sink! You can put it on top and have the option of extra counter top when you're not using it. Or a matching chopping board. Is worth! xxx

It’s great having a kitchen done but yes! The mess, the dirt and the dust!! Going through a similar process, but ultimately a satisfying result 😊😊

Never sand your floors if you though Reno dust was bad!!! We did lot of our own Reno in our last home, ceilings, floors, walls..SO much dust!! But it's all worth it in the end! ☺️

I've been excited for this! loved the bathroom renovations! They seem to have done a fab job in just a week :) We have renovated our house with just the kitchen left to do but need a break to prepare for the disruption again 😂

I've never done a major reno (and love your ideas/choices 👌) but from the way you describe the chaos it's much like childbirth (which I've gone twice) - you forget the worst of it once you get the baby or in your case; the finished reno 😅

I loved the bathrom reno, so excited to see the progress and result of the kitchen! I'm just about to have my own bathroom redone, kind of dreading how chaotic it will be with that being my only toilet though 😅 The 'wire of death' got me 😂
We are getting a big renovation done and because of delays have been living in a building site since July...I dont remember life without dust.

We had our windows replaced last month and yes it was chaotic and 3 weeks later I’ve just finished putting everything back

I love your house reno updates! Ours is subsiding and 8 weeks of work has turned into five months so I entirely sympathise with the disruption and dust. All worth it though! In the end...! X

Giving me flashbacks to doing my bathroom and kitchen at the same time.. never again! It’s so worth it to update the kitchen, you will get so much joy out of the new one. Did I miss where did you relocate the radiator too?
I think it’ll just be the same place but slightly closer to the electric boxes to fit under a radiator cover 😊

As someone who took the concrete roof off their old coal shed add on last weekend to turn it into a utility, I’m glad to see I’m not the only one living in dust and am using this series to keep myself sane that there will be light at the end of the tunnel! Thoughts and prayers at this time pls x

Kitchen and bathroom renovations are the worst as they are so disruptive but you are over the worst of it now and next week will be far less stressful as it all starts to come together and you see it all taking shape. Am sure it will be fabulous when it's finished and will be worth the chaos.

Thank you for sharing this!! I’m about to embark on my own kitchen adventure, and this is really motivational! We’ve had 6 months of gradually ‘breaking’ the current kitchen, having moved the boiler and taking up the flooring to replace floorboards. getting our kitchen from Howdens too!
We had ours done at the start of 2020 and it was a super tough couple of weeks trying to survive without any kitchen with 2 small kids. I had a “kitchen” set up in my living room. And by kitchen I mean kettle, microwave and the fridge freezer! 😅
I just love your videos, you even manage to make plumbing funny and entertaining 😂

I can recommend going to a laundromat instead of washing in your tub.
That was my favorite useful place to hide from the renovations.
A few hours away and a good book can do wonders haha

Ohh I remember when you first said you wanted to change the kitchen. I remember you wanted to extend it into the garden, I guess you've changed your mind? It looks fab in any case!
Yeah it was far too expensive to extend and probably wouldn’t add the same value to the house. Maybe next time!

I know it's horrible and dusty and generally maddening, I really feel for you there! Maybe it's worth scheduling in some coffee hours with yourself? Like I'm going to go out and work on a project at this cafe and have Adam man the cat and the builders or whatever. Idk just some excuse to get out the house for a few hours so you don't go completely insane with the chaos? 😅
