This is why you bring an e-reader though! So handy and you can even add books on the go as long as you have WiFi. I love physical books too but my e-reader, I couldn’t go without anymore.

I’ve been to New York several times without actually going to NYC. My grandparents lived in Syracuse for my entire childhood. I hope y’all had the most wonderful time. You’re not alone in not wanting to leave Flo. We recently went for 1 night over to Pigeon Forge, TN, to get away because my son hasn’t been on a vacation in a bit because of our girls, Covid, and finances. It wasn’t long enough and we missed our girls, but we had fun.

After coming off a return trip to Australia, 8 hours to new York suddenly sounds quite doable. Looking forward to the next vlog!
There are many reasons I will probably never to go Australia, and that flight length is certainly one of them
I was literally thinking this! And I am an Australian! My partner is nearly 8 foot high so he hasn't ever left Australia for this reason!

Tip for when you need to get up quickly and look vaguely presentable: Gather your hair together (as if into a pony tail) but twist it around into a long spiral and then tie up but on don’t pull all the way through on the second twist of your scrunchy. Leave pony in a loop at the bottom, with the ends sticking out upward. Spray with a mild hairspray. It will create loose, beachy waves and spirals when you let it loose in the morning. There will be a few mad bits that need sorting out but only a few lol

Oh wow, i start packing about 10 days out so I can mentally put together all of the outfits I'll need. For our cruise last year, I got a clothing rack out & curated ideas over 2 months for 3 outfits per day (we had up to 90kg luggage!!!) 😂

Just a little top (but potentially boring) tip! In the notes app you can actually do checklists that you can tick off. It's the little icon at the bottom with lines and circles next to the camera 🙌 Also Flo is super relatable!

Regarding packing a million pairs of pants, my boyfriend always says why do we go from pretty much never pooping or peeing ourselves to assuming we’ll do that at least one a day when we’re on holiday 😂

The thought of packing the day before a holiday sets me on edge 😂 I’m already mentally planning what I’m packing for Florida which is a month away! Almost got my suitcase out to pack with you 🤣 now for a boring question, we’re flying with BA too and wondered how you show proof of vaccination now? Seems that BA isn’t on the VeriFLY app anymore and cannot find anything online about it other than old information to say use the app.
Hey! We just got an email from BA saying it was time to upload Covid docs, and a link to a page to upload them (just downloaded from the nhs website). They we’re approved within an hour or so, super easy. Have an amazing time!
Ah I feel the same way! I HATE leaving my cat, it tears me apart. I pay a lovely local company to come and see him and they send me photos twice a day to help me feel better.

So relatable!! We’re heading to Destin Fl for three days for my birthday…just taking two duffles for three of us as it’s only a 2 hour drive…did you know that 2 open duffles + 2 cats=trouble??? I’ve given up removing them til we leave in the morning…what’s an outfit without cat hair!!! Can’t wait to see what sights you have chosen for you and Adam! Have a spectacular trip. Oh I totally feel the same leaving our fluffy fella. We’re planning an epic 3 month honeymoon trip for next year. It’s the most exciting thing ever! BUT thinking about being away from our cat makes me feel sick 😢

I've a pair of boots from Alegria. Several shoes by them as well. Super comfy. Nearly zero break-in. I'm on my feet 8+ hours a day. For trainers I go for Brooks and On Cloud. Those NBs do look cute, though. Just saw their ROAV model👀👀♥️👟

I’m really worried you’re going to be freezing. New York in spring can be Baltic. My advice would be thin thermals under your clothes and a nice coat but it’s probably too late. Hope it’s nice and toasty out there. ❤

Loved this vlog. You are just so natural and real and beautiful. I have recently downloaded a free wardrobe app and it has been great for packing. I can make a 'new' wardrobe of the things I want to take and can then create outfit idea using them. Might be helpful if you feel, like me, that you are rubbish at packing. Fx
