I am incredibly jealous!! I am a 70 year old woman and so regret that I didn't take the opportunity to do something like this when I was young. Back in my day a woman travelling solo like this would have been an oddity. Your bus conversion is exceptional and really reflects your personality. I think it speaks to a lot of woman because whether we love modern decor, industrial, cottage, we all like a little whimsy. Good luck on your travels and have a wonderful time. At no point during the interior tour did it look or feel like a bus. If you told me I was inside a cozy stone cottage I'd believe you. What a creative and innovative build, well done ❤

By now I'm sure I have watched more than a 1000 builds. This has got got be the smartest best planned use of space. I have ever seen . Plus it couldn't be any cuter or comfortable looking.. I am blown away by the design of the sofa. Her color scheme is so relaxing and makes you want to join her.
If Tinkerbell lived in the real world, this is where she would live. I don't usually like cottage core that much, but this van is sooo cozy!! Btw this dog is a cat in disguise.
Completely agree about Tink! And what's funny is that I had the EXACT SAME THOUGHT about the floofball! Winn seems perfectly content, happy - lounging on any available surface, plus he just has 'chill cat vibes,' LOL 😸😋 (Apologies if I misgendered Winn. I have never wanted something so bad. This is one of the best van conversion I have seen in a while. I feel like a little girl watching this. It is like watching a fairytale. SO dreamy ❤
I have never seen a van built with so much caracter. I love the wood and mirrors. Even the cupboards has wallpaper inside. The tree log/branch is so original and rustic. The screen doors are so beautiful. There are no modern things in your van, except the TV, phone and electronics. You have a very creative talent, Josie.
Not only is this the prettiest van build ever, but also you absolutely understood the meaning of tour. Every time I watch house tours or van tours I get so annoyed when I don't truly see anything because the finer details are skipped past, but you showed every nook and cranny and thank you so much for that!
GIRL, THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL TINY VAN HOME I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! I LOVE the shabby chic, English cottage core style. The vibe is so feminine, romantic, cozy, and clean. It looks so much bigger than it is bc of the mirrors, and windows, your color choices, the layout, and all the smart storage you designed. I love all the natural touches you added like the wood, the tree branch shelves , the green vines, and plants. I adore the pink couch! I am so obsessed , and impressed that you built that. I love the velvet material. Your bed looks ridiculously comfortable, too. I love the windows, the wood burning stove, your appliances, the fruit hammock, the lighting, and all the books. I LOVE BOOKS. Umm, CAN'T forget your beautiful furry companion!! He's GORGEOUS!! I just can't say enough how in love with this van I am. I didnt even finish watching the whole tour yet! I'm sure I'll find more I like. ❤😊😊 I am dying to move to the country, near an enchanted forest, and travel all over the world. I have 3 young boys so I would need a much larger vehicle, and I'd have to homeschool them. We only get one life, and I don't want to waste it. It's difficult to make huge choices like that when you have children, bc you don't wanna make the wrong one, and ruin their lives. I'd much rather live a special life, with awsome experiences than a boring, traditional life. Thank you for being so brave and wonderful, and sharing your journey. You show that it's possible for dreams to come true, and it's really inspiring. 😊

Go for it.. we travelled around Australia for 2 yrs and lived in the van for over 3. This was with 4 pre teen kids. Best thing we ever did. It impacted their lives so much. All 4 adult kids have the wander lust. You won’t regret it.
Do it and don't wait one minute. A year after you have made that move and choice, you will ask yourself how you ever doubted. It will also be perfect for your children. Brava! Brava!

Love it!!!! The first van lifer I became obsessed with was Linea and Akela. She is in the US and also built out her own van, with a wood burning stove, and travels with her dog. This is amazing! You are my favorite UK van lifer. I’m so impressed with all of your skills and your aesthetic! Truly lovely.

This is truly incredible. Not only a full kitchen and bathroom, but a double bed, a log-burning stove, a roof deck, inside AND outside tables, and an outside shower in addition to the inside one! I'm pretty much gob-smacked. The outdoor shower will be very useful for rinsing off all the salt if going in the sea while travelling. Josie should go into design.
Your apology about the messy drawers and cabinets brought a big smile to my face. If that was messy, I would be ashamed of my workroom. You are so tidy, organized, feminine, pink, sweet, creative, do-it-yourself, nature lover, warm, cozy, dog hugger and the most socially free woman I know. And I love it.

Pretty amazing! The handmade sofa and the recirculating shower blew my mind. I also love the use of folding shutters to make the bedroom nook cozy and private-feeling.
You’re really gifted. Even though it took you 3 years, you thought every little place through. It’s so well organized and beautifully decorated. I can’t even imagine all the skills you need to make that. I wouldn’t live all year long in a van like this but I would definitely spend time when I need to ressource myself. Your mobile home is beautiful. Plus solar panels! Outside AND inside shower! Security camera! Two heat sources! Great ventilation! Very cute doggie! TV! I was impressed that clothing types are separated into their own cute storage bags - so orderly.
Women should plan , construct and build because we consider aesthetic, functionalities, and comfortable living all in one. All the cute things that 100% work in this space AND its cute and on theme !! Glass mirrored doors along a hallway?! Full counter kitchen with white rustic accordion cupboards with heart drawers ?! And pink couch ?! A fluffy bedroom?! PLUS fully functional water heat and electric systems!? No man could build and plan like this. ❤ love it well done!

This unlike so many vans felt like a true home without sacrificing any of the essential comfortable things. It's kinda like a well-made functioning tiny home on wheels. While also being the best looking van build I have seen. The choice of getting a heavier van truly be seen with how much comfort you can add into the van due to it.

I'm not gonna lie, this is the cutest van built I've ever seen! It's big, but not massive, it has everything you need and the mirrors are genius to create an open and light atmosphere! Love it!
Ok, I think most agree this is like the most adorable build ever! But can we talk about the recycled shower water! Like what!!! I have NEVER heard of anything like that in any build and it sounds amazing. To not waste the water and simply filter back as you are bathing is super cool! And the bathroom becomes one big room. The door design although confusing at first is super neat! I love everything about this build, but I must say the old maps for wallpaper in the cab is a double thumbs up!

I have never seen a van built with so much caracter. I love the wood and mirrors. Even the cupboards has wallpaper inside. The tree log/branch is so original and rustic. The screen doors are so beautiful. There are no modern things in your van, except the TV, phone and electronics. You have a very creative talent, Josie.

Every time I watch house tours or van tours I get so annoyed when I don't truly see anything because the finer details are skipped past, but you showed every nook and cranny and thank you so much for that!

I am dying to move to the country, near an enchanted forest, and travel all over the world. I have 3 young boys so I would need a much larger vehicle, and I'd have to homeschool them. We only get one life, and I don't want to waste it. It's difficult to make huge choices like that when you have children, bc you don't wanna make the wrong one, and ruin their lives. I'd much rather live a special life, with awsome experiences than a boring, traditional life.

Go for it.. we travelled around Australia for 2 yrs and lived in the van for over 3. This was with 4 pre teen kids. Best thing we ever did. It impacted their lives so much. All 4 adult kids have the wander lust. You won’t regret it.

This is truly incredible. Not only a full kitchen and bathroom, but a double bed, a log-burning stove, a roof deck, inside AND outside tables, and an outside shower in addition to the inside one! I'm pretty much gob-smacked. The outdoor shower will be very useful for rinsing off all the salt if going in the sea while travelling. Josie should go into design.

Women should plan , construct and build because we consider aesthetic, functionalities, and comfortable living all in one. All the cute things that 100% work in this space AND its cute and on theme !! Glass mirrored doors along a hallway?! Full counter kitchen with white rustic accordion cupboards with heart drawers ?! And pink couch ?! A fluffy bedroom?! PLUS fully functional water heat and electric systems!? No man could build and plan like this. ❤ love it well done!

This unlike so many vans felt like a true home without sacrificing any of the essential comfortable things. It's kinda like a well-made functioning tiny home on wheels. While also being the best looking van build I have seen. The choice of getting a heavier van truly be seen with how much comfort you can add into the van due to it.

Ok, I think most agree this is like the most adorable build ever! But can we talk about the recycled shower water! Like what!!! I have NEVER heard of anything like that in any build and it sounds amazing. To not waste the water and simply filter back as you are bathing is super cool! And the bathroom becomes one big room. The door design although confusing at first is super neat! I love everything about this build, but I must say the old maps for wallpaper in the cab is a double thumbs up!
Right? Sooo soo innovative and yes we need to know about the refiltering and also would it be bad to ask exactly what it cost you to do cause I still want to dream……hahaha
