Thanks Mike! I’m looking for the instructions for the front rack too. I bought everything on Amazon and much of the hardware including the longer axle are not anywhere to be found!
Thanks for watching Mark! I hadn't looked into the front rack as of yet. I might make a video on its installation in the future. There's a link that I left in one of the other comments for the Coleman Powersports website. That would be my best advice at the moment to see if they have the longer axle. I bought my rear rack from them, and they included all of the necessary parts, but I think that they might sell the axles and spacers separately. Let me know if this helps you.
Mike was nice enough to send me the other bracket so I could mount my rack. Go power sports doesn’t include any hardware or brackets when you order the rack from them. I should read before I order. I would have ordered it from Coleman, but with Mikes bracket, it work out fine and some other fabrication 😊
I appreciate the kind words John. If anyone is in the same pickle concerning this bracket, I can probably either make a drawing of it or at least get the dimensions and rough angles, thickness of metal, etc to make your own bracket like this. Thanks to all for watching.
@@themostlymikeshow I’m in the same vote I called Coleman and gave them the ct200u-ex model, and they said that this rack set would fit my bike. I have my minibike apart and I’m looking for this bracket. If you could send me specs that would be great. Do they sell these online anywhere? I’m assuming this rack’s gonna fit my bike once I have this piece. Cry😢
Thanks for watching Richard! There's a whole "Trail Force One" playlist showing all that I added so far to the Ct200u-ex. I have more videos filmed and will be publishing them in the near future. Please consider subscribing to stay in the loop! Happy holidays!
@10:59 I believe you installed that bracket with 4 bolts wrong, it should face the opposite direction to make the rack higher and more forward which should level it with the bike. 😁👌
No my friend builds them up and sells them I gave him ideas. He has tons and sold them. It is a hobby to him he is a senior citizen. So I help him unload the stuff so he builds them.
Oh that's cool. These racks seem uncommon for the ct200u-ex. Lots of places sell the rack, but I haven't seen any other than Coleman that includes all of the pieces needed. I had no idea that the longer axle was a must so I lucked out with this one. I would ordinarily include an Amazon link for the main thing in the video, but they don't sell the complete kit. I will be doing some other mods which I will post.
Thanks for watching! I bet that it does look a lot better shortened up. Mine is more of a "pack mule" for hauling supplies, so the original size fits a milk crate perfectly, which is in a more recent video. I will be doing lots more Trail Force One videos, so stay tuned!
Glad you enjoyed Chris! There will be many more on the mini bikes in the near future, so stay tuned and please consider subscribing if you haven’t already!
Hi Phil. I bought mine in May of this year. Amazon has them, but it looks like they don't include the supports or the longer axle. Here's the link for the rack itself : amzn.to/3rOBO6k And this is the supports that go to the axle ; amzn.to/3lqcRNd As for the axle itself, this 321mm axle is what you need : amzn.to/2VncoAX You'll also need the two extra spacers, which I can't find on Amazon, and I think that you can probably use the existing 14mm nut on your bike, as this axle does not seem to come with one. It looks more expensive, but Coleman socked me close to 20 dollars shipping, totalling my order at around 58 dollars. I hope that this helps you out.
I was reading reviews on that rack, and the first one seems like an unhappy customer, so you might want to beware. If gopowersports.com has them, they seem pretty legit. I bought their torque converter kit for the ct200u-ex and they got it to me pretty fast.
@@themostlymikeshow Hi Mike, Thanks but I checked the Coleman sports website and it was available??? It doesn’t look like the rack from Amazon includes a bracket. Thanks for the detailed installation vid and I will be using it later.
I hope that you'll be able to find one. I just got in using mine with the "trunk" that I added in my last video to tote chainsaws and tools for maintaining my trails. I'm glad you found this video helpful!
How much weight do you think it can handle? was thinking about getting this rack for my mini bike as a place to attach a small trailer so I can haul some brush and wood. Do you think the rack would handle something like that?
Hi Don. I really don't know how much weight it can handle. I am actually thinking about making the same thing that you mentioned. I believe that it could handle something like that, within reason. It's actually way sturdier than I expected to see from when I ordered it. I hope that this helps.
Thanks for watching and the suggestion Mike. I am reviewing some large bicycle seats with springs that a company sent to me for my next video. Maybe I'll try to repurpose one of these to fit on Trail Force One. 🤔
I am not familiar with the Massimo mb200, but it sure looks like the exact same thing. I would say that it would probably work, but it's a gamble. Thanks for watching.
I bought this fuel canteen that I use for about a quart of spare fuel. It's pretty heavy duty and ties down well to the rack or the trunk. Here is the link : amzn.to/3xMG0Vz
@@ytfrosty6754 Thanks for watching Mini Biker104! Those mounts came in the kit from Coleman motorsports, but I was told that they were out on their website. I'll see if I can find you a link.
You will need to use your original spacers as well as a longer axle with two more spacers of that size. I am pretty sure that Amazon carries all of this. I might have put links in the description below this video. If not I will try to put them in there
3546502.shop.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.3546502/sc.27/category.205218/ctype.SS/SS.205218/.f This is the whole kit that I bought from Coleman Powersports. They should have the supports separately.
The best way would be using a "Barrel Flashlight Mount Set" directly to the seat frame. I don't like this set up at all. Mounting on the rear fender ? Come on, is a rack to haul stuff
Thanks for watching. It's not mounted to the fender. There's a pretty heavy bracket that attaches directly to the axle, which needs to be replaced with a longer one as I show in the video.
Thanks for watching. Meh, it wasn't too bad. It could have probably been made without going through the axle, but the axle really gives it a solid place for support.
I used the Coleman link. If you're thinking about adding this rack to your CT200U-EX: a reality check. The part is still available and it still costs $39.99. The kicker comes when you put in your shipping info for UPS Ground (the only option). For me, living 30 miles south of Atlanta, the shipping was $34.95! (!!!!!!) Thank you Joe Biden. So this forty buck rack is gonna cost you 75 bucks with shipping.
Wow Mike! I agree. And there's still people who think that he's doing a great job. Must be seeing something that we're not. Anyway, thanks for watching and I hope that the video helped you out.
@@themostlymikeshow Hey Mike, at the very least, thanks for the inspiration. I have a CT200U-EX and I thought the rear rack wold a be a sweet and functional addition. And for maybe 50 bucks I could justify it ...but not for $75 ...especially for a subpar assembly made in China. Something that's caught my attention is the amount of replacement parts that are NLA (no longer available) on the Coleman parts website. I don't know if this is just a "supply chain" problem or Coleman marketing cutting their losses on the minibike market. But there are a *LOT* of parts listed as NLA for the CT200-EX ...as well as many of the other bikes. Frame assemblies are NLA for many of the models ...so if you bend one up, you better figure how to unbend it because buying a new frame is not in the equation anymore.
