  • Changing the wiper blades on a Jeep Wrangler YJ is pretty easy. Removing the whole wiper isn't that hard either. Here is how to get it done.

I had problems once finding asswipe blades for my YJ. Then I seen some 10" rear blades. They work fine. Great Video buddy

I just replaced the blades on my 93YJ with the same Rainguard wipers. Of course I work at O'Rielly's as of the last month so I'll be replacing a lot of stuff like the Stant locking gas cap I also got the other day.

Fun video, like your style, just bought my.first Jeep and the driver wiper must have been adjusted down, I have to readjust it upwards so it clears where I am looking. Guess last owner was one of the ocd ppl.

Good job Charlie D. Showin us how it’s done… ;-)
Cool tips on the additional things. Never knew about the wiper down option, though like you not worried about the blades in the way.

For sure, mark blade location with Sharpie before removing the wiper arm. Reinstall using the mark. Clean off Sharpie mark with rubbing alcohol. Ta-da.

I use 13" blades rather than the OEM 11" blades on my YJ - much better wiper coverage.

Thats actually a good idea. I'm going to try that next time. Thanks for the great suggestion!

I am new to Jeep, and my yj must have had old 12s on it. I put the factory 11s on and they are just too dang small now. Wish I would have bought 13s. Next year I guess.

Love your videos. From what I can tell you also live in TN. My question is do you work on Jeeps for the public, or just your own?

Trying to change out the hose for the windshield washer on a 92 YJ. Cannot find anything anywhere that shows how to do that. Any suggestions?

That would be a good video. I'll look at doing that real soon.
