    In this video I am showcasing the Rush SR mod for Assetto Corsa by Authentic Simulation. This is based on a $40,000 track toy that can rival the performance of cars from the likes of Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini.

    Petition to make the F1 drivers race these around Monaco rather than their normal cars.

    Really Kunos should consider licencing this car for ACE. Really seems like this could be an amazing and unique rookie series.

      Yes! That would be awesome! We've reached out to Kunos earlier this year, but they weren't interested. We hold the exclusively license, and we would love to sublicense the Rush SR and provide the 3d model to Kunos. So hopefully they change their minds!

    Wow, thats pretty cool! I actually used to work at a track a few years ago, working on radicals and miatas. I did track side repairs for these things when they were in the late prototyping phase. They used to drive like sized up gocarts for the longest while because they were getting most of their test drive data from cart drivers, its cool to see that a sim version of it is doing really well!

    Incredible, in Mexico I saw this car and I always wanted to try it in a sim the only thing I could was to radical modify the rush spec but it is not the same, very happy to see a mod that I have been waiting for for a long time

    This track is hard even if you know it. It always takes you some laps to get back into the swing of it.

    Definitely a solid mod and comparable to what Aris was able to do when AC first came out! My only disappointment comes from the lack of extended physics which omits most of the raw feel / feedback of these cars. Hopefully they look into cosmic for an update or at least DWB2 with actual damper data in the future.
    Either way, still amazing to see another option out there!

    • @Authentic-Simulation
      @Authentic-Simulation 29 днів тому +6

      We did use extended physics (extended-2) on every aspect of the car (brakes, tires, suspension, etc.). However, you are correct that we did not use Cosmic suspension, as it is not something our team has experience developing yet. We are in the process of learning Cosmic, but we didn't want to push out an important mod with code we didn't fully understand. Unlike the regular extended physics suspension code, which was used in this mod, and that Daniel has almost a decade of experience programming cars with.
      We are planning on a v1.1 update, which will focus on reducing tire grip a tiny amount (adjusting the tire slip load curve) and adding more paint schemes. I think later this year, we might be ready to implement Cosmic in a v1.2 or v1.3 update... but only once we fully understand it backwards and forwards.
      Thanks for you feedback and positivity!

    I actually Drove this car, my buddy has one here in Michigan, this is awesome thank you for sharing.
    I will download this mod for sure so we can compare to the real car and tweak my rig to it
    I was really waiting for this
    thank you

    I'm going to put this on Lugans Seca with 9 others in AI and have some fun!
    Question for you too: Are there any AI mods for AC? You'd think maybe someone or a team of someone's would do that.

    • @SimRacing604
      @SimRacing604  Місяць тому

      I’m assuming you mean mods for the AI drivers you race against rather than AI-designed cars. If so, the answer is yes. Most of the major race circuits have improved AI lines and performance mods. The ones I’ve seen are hosted on Overtake.

The clincher is requiring my home address also. Why do I need to give my address just to spend a few dollars. Are they selling data? I think these guys need to restructure how they sell mods, as I'm guessing that I am not the only person who has had issues. Anyway, I did enjoy your video. :)

    Seeing mods for AC makes me dream, and dreaming makes me rant :P
    if u have time on your hand, u can build your own car. u cant weld u will learn, just dont be afraid. :P A father of mine friend did his own lotus 7 kitcar, with a volvo b18 engine, and u have a cheap car far under what is out on the market there. I tinker a bit with motorcycles and it is so fun to do a subframe and what if u damage the org one :D
    But one question, is the car actually assembled together by constrains like in a cad software? or is it just a invisible cube sliding on the tarmac where the bottom seems to be divided in 4 sections and are the tires, and the car model is just there for eye candy? I mean in AC there is no real physics, u just alter the parameters of what the car is.
    Would be awesome if we had a race sim where the track environment has physics and the car are just adhering to the physical laws depending on the attributes of the car, like how they are made, material they are built with and weight and so on. Cpu intensive but we need something new, instead of what we have now, ie just games and no real sim aspect to it in that regard.
    Imagine if we had car models with simulated electronics, fluids and all that like a real car :D

    • @jacksonp.928
      @jacksonp.928 29 днів тому +1

      AC uses a multibody physics engine so not sure what you mean by "there is no real physics"; whole thing is an iterative physics simulation. Electronic systems (ABS, TC, EDL, etc) are also modeled.
