These cars are beasts to handle. The Gen1 classics spin off the throttle in 2nd and 3rd easily, takes a lot of finesse on the throttle to tame these monsters. Much respect to the men who raced these IRL. Great job on 5th at 120%. That’s amazing. Thanks for the content.
AMS2 is a beauty with these 90's F1 cars. So much fun. In AC the RSS 1990 is a blast mixed wit the ASR 91 field with all the season tracks. Very fun genre. Thanks mike for bringing this cool race to us! Great viewing!
13:42 in 1982, Eliseo Salazar did the same thing at the exact same spot to Nelson Piquet, who was leading the race. Mike, you should've done like Piquet. You should've gotten out of the car and given him a good smack.

I missed the replay of the accident. It would’ve been good to see it from outside. Oh well, if Verstappen got away without a penalty last race this was just a race incident as well 😹

Hey Mike, Top driving bro, They is a hand full, I learned in this car though but slowly turned up the turbo as I got better, I believe or at least for me, Open wheeler cars will allow you to learn a track faster, Also teach you to enter corners deeper rather than later if you know what I mean lol, Which brings me onto VR, I am waiting for the Quest 3 to drop to 400 pounds, Or a bit cheaper, I am not bothering with the Quest 3s, I have a Quest 2, So now I want to see the differences between the Quest 2 lenses or the Pancake lenses on the Quest 3, I do PCVR anyways, I upgraded my Router to a TP-Link AX3000 AX55 Archer Wifi-6, Fantastic for VR, The Sky ISP modem is terrible, Here in the UK, My street is still using DSL connections, 100mbps is the highest that the line can handle, I am waiting for the UK to start putting fiber everywhere, It feels like I am being scammed now, When I see fiber ISP charging the same for what I am paying for 49mbps, I will say though I get between 65 and 72mbps So it could be worse for me, A sky engineer told me to send the AX3000 back as it won't benefit with gaming, Yeah yeah, I got hold of TP-Link customer services, who then told me what to do, A few mins later boom AX3000 was alive, lol, And I will say now, It almost feels like I have upgraded my PC not the router, Wifi-6 is fantastic, CCTV is far better quality, Faster loading, And I can use my Quest 2 with Virtual Desktop wireless and yeah it is properly playable, I gets 72fps in VR with medium to high settings, I am upgrading to a 16gb 4060 as well as soon as possible, I am waiting for the 50 series to drop so the 40 series then drop, There is no way I will be able to afford a 50 series GPU anyways, I bet all the You Tube PC creators and gamers is waiting for the 50 series to be sent to them, With hands rubbing together, While us poor people got to watch, Ahhhhh lol, I can tell you now the You Tube creator who gives a 50 series in a comp will gain some new viewers put it one way, lol, As long as no-one from Tik Tok comes to You Tube then its good, lol, I seen some terrible people on Tik Tok, Thank fully it isn't a lot, But people is using social media to beg, Send the wirong message, I don't want anything to do with Tik Tok, lol, Can you tell I don't like Tik Tok, lol, But yeah can anyone tell me what the prices of the 4090's will be when the 50 series do drop, Surely nVidia isn't going to keep the 40 series GPU's at the same price when the 50 series comes out, I would love to get my hands on one, lol.....
Yeah VR is helping me get my SA on AMS 2 right up, I am 5% away from getting the letter S in my points, lol, I am saying it coz it has taken months to get 95% with online racing only, I only does online lobbies in AMS 2, There is some fantastic sim racers in AMS 2 lately, At the same time there is people in AMS 2 that do need to practice, Spinning cars out causing pile up's, Last night I never even made the first corner before I was crashed off the track, One dude crashed into the back 4 times, I had to leave the race, If i see a points race though they usually turn out better, I am still trying to figure out the points system in AMS 2, How you can gain more points, ect, It won't be long now though before I will be confident and have enough skills to keep with Pro Sim Racers, Fingers crossed, I am getting faster though with VR, I am gaining skills a lot faster using VR, I don't think i can go back to my TV screen again, All I need is another 2 Acer monitors, And I could start doing triples, But I don't think the 12gb 3060 I got will give me better gameplay than the VR, Oddly enough, Or at least it feels lit would be that way, A better GPU is needed for triples isn't it?

Also I downloaded AC again yesterday, I am going to try the VR in AC, With the Quest 2, I need something new to chew on, lol, I can't wait for the 6th of May to drop, It is so big a AMS 2 Bank Holiday should be created, lol, The 1.6 update I hear is going to drop like monster truck, The Audi DTM, Will be the next king of the ring for me, lol, I can't wait to try the Audi DTM on the Nords, I seen a link earlier where someone is putting Project Cars 2 cars into AMS 2, I have a feeling though AMS 2 will drop some more cars over the next 6 months or so, There is a big list that is in PC 2 that should be in AMS 2 anyways, lol, Like the Supra, Sierra Cosworth, Not everyone knows how the Mods work, I get issues trying to install mods on AMS 2, lol...
Fair play though Mike keeping it in the top 10 with full AI, So would you be faster in VR, Since I put an Elite battery strap on the Quest 2, A BOVO air thing, And a new tower fan, I get no issues with keeping VR on my head, The Quest 3 looks more comfy as well, But yeah do you do VR Sim racing at all Mike?, You have the motion, It would be worlds better with motion, Can anyone tell me what the cheapest motion set up is as well, Still though some great Sim racing Mike......

@@SimRacing604 Amen bro, I do AMS 2 most nights online, I even go on AMS 2 for online lobbies around the early hours, Here in the UK I am practaically time travelling to race people in America, lol, I can't wait for the IMSA to hit AMS 2, I will be having a check of what that is, I also seen AMS 2 got a career mod, I am thinking of trying that too, I need to get a motherboard with multiple M.2 slots, I am having memory issues having the 1TB, Doesn't take long to fill a TB up do it, lol, I am thinking of getting into VTOL VR next week too, I got VTOL VR but never goes on it, I seen some top vids with VTOL VR......
But yeah i do think you would be faster in VR, I am starting to gain better skills with VR, You notice the rea end slips faster in VR, It is hard to explain, All I know is I won't be using my flat screen TV again, I will get the Quest 3 soon as well, I seen so many good reviews with the Quest 3 for the price it is, Plus the Batman for the Quest 3 looks out of this world, It not for the Quest 2 apparently lol, I suffer with Anxiety and CPTSD, I am struggling with mental health, So I am wondering if getting a game like Batman will help me with the CPTSD, I got CPTSD because I been attacked, I am wondering if VR can help me understand the triggers a bit more, It can end in one of two ways, Either help me or make things worse, Complex PTSD is horrible to live with, It is the Sim Racing that helps with Anxiety, Also oddly enough VR have seemed to reduce the nightmares I was getting, I don't get many when I Sim Race in VR before I get my head down, So I am wondering now if VR can help with mental health, VR helps with people who suffered from stokes, To gain motor functions back, I could make a joke, But I won't, Stokes is a serious horrible illness to have happened to someone, But I wonder if Sim Racing in VR can help people get motor functions back in the brain, Hand an feet co-ordination surely got to help, I also love how Fanatec have me Sim racing equipment for disabled people, It is a shame that is so damn expensive, lol, I bought a Thrustmaster T300 GT RS, Comes up as a T500 on American Truck Sim, lol, Explains the PS5 button on the T300 base, Must be different board inside, The T300 GT RS is a top wheel though, The R3 from Moza is just too much, Only having 2 pedals, And having to pay extra for the clutch I feel is a bit wrong, And having to pay so much for the gear stick, So is you actually saving money?, Hence why I bought the T300, I got a clutch and was able to get the TH8 shifter, Yes it is plastic, But it sure is far better than the Logitech shifter, lol, But for 400 pounds I was able to get the T300 GT RS, And the shifter, I am glad I did now, With VR I don't need a fancy wheel that lights up, lol, Plus the Eco system on the Thrustmaster is manageable for me, The DD wheel is just too expansive, I am great full I can even Sim Race with a T300, lol, As Sim racing helps my Mental health, Though Sim Racing is not the cure for me, It helps me put triggers aside lets just say, I got to go see some one next week about my mental health, If I don't then it will only get worse, But yeah I will be jumping on AMS 2 soon, What would be a great idea, Sim Racing Cloud recording, Where people can save races like I do with my CCTV recording, And I can tell you now, Being a CPTSD sufferer knowing my CCTV is recording outside all day, And is saved to the cloud, Helps with my head, I have heard people shouting my name when no one is there, It is why I am going to see someone in Mental health, but without the CCTV, I would still be thinking someone was calling me, But now I know it is my head, I have only had it happen about 5 times now, Could be a PTSD thing, I got be honest about my mental health, last thing I needs is to feel like crap about is my mental health lol, I think I am not the only person who uses Sim racing for mental health reasons, I might even do some research about mental health and Sim Racing, Coz if it do help with mental health, then Sim racing could be used as something to gather more ideas around gaming and mental health, Then Fanatec or Moza can give people who is using mental health to help with Sim racing, lol, Joke by the way, One of the reasons I respect Jimmy in the Sim racing world, Jimmy deserves the success to be honest, From Shed Sim Racer to Racing for real, Damn I wish I was younger again, lol... , But then that is what You Tube does, You do You Tube right, And You Tube will do you right, And I like the fact you must earn the subscribers , lol, I have a stack of races saved back in replays in AMS 2, How do I link my You Tube so I can upload the races, I don't need to edit them, lol, I would rather just upload them as they is, lol,. Not that I am lazy, Just with no edits then you get the raw race, From Start to finish, Either way I will upload some vids next week to my You Tube, I will just upload a few races in one go, Like I done before, Difference is now, I am a lot better at Sim racing than before.........
Yeah I do actually look forward to seeing a VR upload from you Mike, I am curious on how using VR if people drive or race different, I know people say they is a bit faster in VR, race Beyond mentioned to me, he was a bit faster in VR, Race Beyond Matter is a top channel, I got nothing but respect for the motivational side of Race Beyond matters vids, I bet Race Beyond is a Top guy to be around, But yeah It will be great to see some VR vids from you bro...

I would love the Pimax Crystal myself, I seen the Pimax now has a lite version of the Pimax crystal, I can only manage a Quest 3 when I upgrade from the Quest 2, Still though VR is now so damn good, Even the Quest 2 is till amazing......

@@gageboy14 well even I am not 100% sure. What you said is very possible, but usually those UA-cam content creators are right on top of that sort of thing.
A few things Mike -
1) I was listening to a podcast the other day with Derek Warwick who drove the Brabham after de Angelis died and he said they used a sequential - if it makes it easier for you? Basically don't punish yourself when that tech was already in F1.
2) This is more of a mod comment, BUT where are the Williams? And why are the Ligier team so high up?! That's some wonky AI settings going on right there. No Prost in sight either?
3) These cars are good fun.

@@SimRacing604 According to your HUD, you only set 20 instead of 25 opponents, that's why some drivers are missing.
