@@smartgorilla Singer, sure, but there are lots of car folks out there busting their butts and putting blood, time, sweat and tears into their passion projects at all budget levels. Like I've just learned how to tune carburetors and my next skill I want to teach myself if how to paint. I think the best mindset to get from this video is to spend the time to learn and remember that "everything is important" and "nothing is perfect".

True motorheads, both of them. No marketing B.S. By devoting more than usual time to this vid, Chris gave us a close-up look at these guys and to me anyway, they rang true. I sense they share their success with their talented staff. I’ll wager not one employee, even the guy who sweeps the floors, thinks working for Singer is just a job.
We implore Chris Harris - Sir you may not think/believe/feel it to be so, however, YOU are an unequivocal Porsche (vintage ice cars overall) spokesperson and the petrol head world is desperately starving for your wonderfully symphonic special personal stamp on that (our) world. The UK cannot fully appreciate what they have in you - we do. Thank you and please never, ever stop.
All I can say is. Just watched the video, and I’m about to go grab the keys to my Porsche and just drive it just for the sake of going through the gears, listening to the engine note on my back, and watching those front fender arches as it eats the road. What a fantastic company Singer is!
@@earthtoimani True. However, it absolutely 'nails' the spirit and intent of the original car in probably every way. It's the ultimate 911 homage and if I ever had the money....
Ha ha, I did the same, got into my 991.1 opened the sports exhausted and pretended I was lapping a track like C Harris. To be honest I know that Singer has no limits on cost and time spent on their cars, but Porsche does a pretty good job mass producing the 911, the fit and finish on my car outside and inside is pretty damn good.... Enjoy!!!!
I am fortunate enough to have an acquaintance who took delivery of his Singer last year and I can verify the immaculate perfection of everything on this car. I literally laid on the ground to take pictures of the engine and trans and it truly is ultimate craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Singer’s brilliance is his restraint. It looks like a proper 911, plus a little more, but only just so. The Turbo looks like a Turbo, like a factory Turbo, and not a cartoon.
It’s literally perfection. I rarely covet anything but I instantly wanted this reimagined turbo. It’s breathtaking to look at. I can only imagine what a pleasure it is to drive. ❤
incredible! You are a musician in your early 40s, building your own hotrod Porsche. You drive around and register positive feedback. People want a car like that too. The birth of Singer. what a development! Congratulations to the SINGER team.
Thank you, Chris. Thank you, Singer. Thank you to the workers and the filmmakers. This fills my heart with positivity, joy, fight, and a wow factor. No excuses.
I just love seeing Chris acting like a kid in a candy store when he sees all the interior bits being made and sitting, waiting to be put into the cars. "Can I sit on that?" LOL! Singer makes some absolutely GORGEOUS cars. This would be a car that I get if I ever got rich. Ferrari? No. Bugatti? Nah. Singer 911? Heck yes.
Lucky enough to have been following Chris way before the infamous first Singer video, a video that I come back to from time to time just as motivation material for myself. I remember distincly how Rob described his obsession with the perfect 911 in his mind, and Chris impatiently asking the next question, confused and amazed at how deep the rabbit hole was at the time, cause nobody was doing it, nobody would even dare to "reimagine" anything, let alone one of the most iconic cars ever. A lot of imitations have come and gone, but Singer is the original, the OG resto mod, and always will be ahead of everyone else. And even if now the yellow-ish, graffiti painted, shed became a pristine factory with pure white floors and walls, I'm glad to see Rob and Chris did not change a bit, they obsessively nerd over the same stuff, just like 11 years ago. Thank you both for being who you are. Thanks Singer for fueling our 911 obsession.
(music playing) ... these are a few of my favorite things ... Chris Harris, Singer Porsche, and the Turbo. What could be more blissful and inspirational?!

I wish I´ll have the money needed to get one of these works of art... Gorgious camera work and editing too!
Thank you for an automotive intro that didn't feature over the top dramatic cinematic music. Just the sound of an engine putting power down through the tyres is perfect.
If a state beyond perfection exists, these geniuses at Singer are in hot pursuit of it. Incredible, stunning...It is an emotional experience just looking at these cars.
Wow. I can't believe it's 11 years since I saw the (!) Singer presentation clip that still makes me tingle today like it did way then. A song or a painting can so easily transmit an emotion. But you guys do this in an authentically unique manner with a car. And it definitely has to do with your passion and this pure, healthy obsession with detail. You start with something beautiful to look at and don't rest until you make it work, move, sound, smell and feel at least as beautifully. That's a life lesson. Thank you for the experience!
I am a dye-in-the-wool Corvette guy that is fortunate to own a '79 and an '18. I never paid much attention to Porsches, until about 2014 when I first saw a Singer in a magazine. It's a car that I'll never be able to own, but I will always be struck by their beauty and engineering.
Yeah, sure... "You didn't pay attention to Porsches, until you first saw a Singer".... Wow, interesting. Listen, dude: this sounds so unbelievably snobbish and totally arrogant. Singer isn't that special at all. The fact that Singer is an American company, which builds its wealthness on the back of old Porsche 911 is just laughable. There are many 911 restaurators and tuners, which give you that feeling and quality of a perfect 911 restauration plus a tuned engine, but for only 1/4 of Singer money! In this factory, I can only see lots of aircooled Porsche 964, which are transformed to 911 Turbos / 930's, but not "Singers". I know there's no point in me contributing my opinion on these cars because I could never afford one, but I will anyway. The thing I like about Rob's cars the most is that as special as they are, they never come across as 'precious', so you can actually drive them like you normally would in a Porsche. I like that.
I found out about singer through Chris’s video 11 years ago. I bet he is responsible for huge chunk of singer being so popular. Plus I really appreciate how Chris just wears shorts. It’s exactly what I’d do.
Just wonderful. Years ago when I stumbled across Singer I thought they should do a 930 Turbo...and here they are with what looks to be 9 tenths of perfection.
This is awesome. I'm a drag racer. Originally Pontiacs then switched to big 4 digit power bmws in the early-mid 00s. And even I can appreciate this amazing machine. It's somehow timeless and modern at the same time. Everything is so well thought out and executed perfectly. Even the power rating and delivery is probably tuned for linear, smooth powerband that is also exciting.
The architecture of the singer turbo is heavenly. If I can only have one car for the rest of my life to drive the singer turbo is it. Well done. Porsche should be proud. Kinetic art at the highest level, as it should be.
Love the chat over Wine at the end. Singer talking about the first time he saw a White 911 Turbo on the street reminds me of hours staring at Porsche brochures of the era. The White Turbo with Black Leather and Pin-stripe Cloth interior would be my nostalgia spec. Bring on that Lottery win. Take my money Mr. Singer! 💰
The Porsche+ look and feel the people at Singer manage to get with these cars is just beautiful, I would forgive anyone for thinking its just another Porsche, and I love that! I still think back to the first video's Chris Harris did of these and I have watched them many times through the years, I could never get enough! Shame the inner door handle is out of my price range, not to mention the rest of the vehicle! By a factor of ... all the factor! 😅
What cars. Unobtainium to very much most people yet worth every penny. Just seeing what goes into them and how every little detail is treated. Oozes passion out of every pore. I do wish there were more "pure sound" clips because I enjoyed listening to all the subtle noises and turbo whistles. Restomod is really the bee's knees. Start with a great base and make it your own, highlighting the goods while addressing the shortcomings. Singer take the ball and run with it yet true car people tend to aspire to similar results, each within their means. Thanks for sharing this excellent little film. All cars should be manufactured with at least a mere fraction of that passion. The world would be better for it on so many levels.
Most folks will take the car as it is, but the guy behind the name is far more interesting. The man is cranked, clearly has a relationship to substance, and in such a sterile time. That is without a doubt the best part of the whole endeavor. The eccentricity of a man creating perceived perfection as he suffers customers absorbed in a self-curated gospel of purity towards a gorgeous bastardization
God bless, Singer....where Porsche is slowly losing the plot nowadays, you're keeping the proper flavor alive. Thank you for keeping the 911s I dreamed of as a kid (and had the pleasure of working with in college) both alive, and reimagined in the same spirit. These cars bring a smile to my face every time I see them, whether in the flesh or on video.
Love the updated classic Turbo. So refined. Singer basically extended its timelessness even more. Any tuned Turbo with 500hp or more is enough GT car to satisfy anyone for many years to come.
Some of the most breath taking cars I've ever seen, they truly captivate me when one is in front of me.. the aesthetics, dynamism, attention to detail, and the details themselves.. Stunning ... and then you hear it... 🥰 I actually had the pleasure of meeting Chris at Goodwood last year.. While he was admiring a DLS Turbo 🫡
I have never aligned with a design language as well as singers finished works. 10 times out of 10 I fall in love with the endless amount of detail and choices made by these gentlemen. Bravo.
It's soo nice seeing Chris do a video again. I've really missed the CC podcast as of late. But this...wow, just wow. I remember the his original vid all those years ago which introduced me to Singer and it's amazing to see how far they've come as a company. That Green Turbo is just to die for.
Nice to see Chris again. Those rear wheels give me the fizz!! Sorry for the pre-Chris Top Gear reference. :-) A Singer Porsche is the stuff of dreams. It's refreshing to listen to people who know cars.
Wow! That green turbo is perfection. Love what Singer is doing, just wish I had the money to buy in myself 😂 So good to see Chris Harris doing what he does best again, Top Gear was just a sideshow in my opinion, well done 👍🏻 Can’t wait to see what Singer does after the turbos
The shot showing with the ocean b-roll, Italian job esque , stuff to dream about and make core memories. Thanks Chris and Singer for the 2024 equivalent of staring at your bedroom poster for hours on end
@dr.koch, the old Porsches were about driving pleasure that a hardworking man might reasonably aspire to attain one day. Singers are $500k+++ up, multi year waiting list, and most will be garage queens. They're still absolutely fabulous, i won't argue that.
Thank you for this video. This is nice. The cool thing is I live very close to the factory that’s in Gardena and I’ve seen a couple of cars drive around to test drive I guess. And I want to say thank you to Chris Harris. And I’ve met the ownerand he’s a real cool guy you guys and he is the person that encouraged me to get back into Porsche’s when I met him at the Palos Verdes concourse, but I don’t remember the year. Well, thank you for this video and I hope it makes sense because I’m talking into my phone in the comment section.
In a world where most things are built to a cost or a timescale it’s refreshing to see quality and craftsmanship put front and centre of the business. I guess even from the outside we could see that was true from Singer’s output, but this video has really showcased it. Quality comes at a cost, but other industries could learn a lot from prioritising it in the way Singer have. Part of me is still slightly sad that 964s have to die for a Singer 911 to come to life, but if they have to die, at least they’re becoming something this special.
I loved getting to see Rob relax a little bit, and reminisce about that first Turbo he saw when he was a kid. That was equal in rarity to that row of unicorns, perfectly painted, all in a row inside their atelier. Great episode you guys. Thank you.
Wonderful car gents, you do just KEEP NAILING IT. CH does a good job of explaining what you have achieved, it's relivance ...just like the first time. Bravo to all involved. Sincerely wish I could have one.
Simplicity, elegance, performance art. A masterpiece! And Jesus...what a video! This is why I own a Porsche. Maybe someday I'll sell everything, live in a trailer and own a Singer!
I wonder if Singer could do an homage to the Silver B&B rainbow Porsche. That Targa stands out in my memory from the early car magazine covers. It was a superstar spec with the vivid blue leather interior. I love what Singer has accomplished by really believing "Everything is Important ". The details, man.
Singer cars are absolutely master peace ! 😲 All the parts are perfect, details and paint job are just incredible, a lot of luxuries brands can learn about precision and perfect finish like singer do… I’m absolutely in love with the way of they imagine an create the cars. 🤩
Had a poster of a 1984 Porsche 930 Whaletail, in black, on my bedroom wall at age 14 and seeing this iteration is just haughtily, naughtily, and droolworthy brilliant. To think that you guys could do this to one of the icons of my youth is nothing short of awe inspiring for a petrol head like moi. Have followed your journey from the very first episode with Chris and all thats transpired in between. Wonderful iterations, all of them. Kudos to you Rob, Maz and all at team Singer. Just so frikkin cool, dammit! Love it!👏😁

Unicorn car. It's a perfect analogy. Saw my first DLS Singer in NZ about 8 months ago. A purple shade that I have to admit genuinely gave me goosebumps. It can only be truly appreciated in the flesh.
Was watching 'The Life of a Japanese Joinery Woodworker'. This guy says perfectly what creating masterpieces is all about: My creations are not at their peak when they are brand new, nor do they deteriorate over time.
Chris’ enthusiasm, and presentation is just the best, I had a smile on my face all the way through the piece, the cars are something else, anybody who is into cars will never get enough of Chris Harris, especially on full chat through a corner on opposite lock, legend!
Dear Singer, If you are listening please bring back the galleries for the cars on the website.
Part of me thinks some of the collectors don’t want their car photographed for some obnoxious reason
My guess is that they have done quite a few now and they may not want to advertise that to much. Big part paying this much is exclusivity.
Or porsche is sending cease and desist for every Pic with their logo lol
Either they don't want to, or Porsche don't like it. I know that some people don't like their expensive cars photographed, but most do.

God. That car is so perfect. So beautiful. The green is perfect. The wheels. Even the black plastic bumper is perfect.
On this planet ... I would most like to own a car from singer ! Period ! I LOVE this concept
This is absolute Porsche heaven. I love what they do. Working here looks like a dream job. I hope to see a Singer 911 some day. Thank you.
Automotive Perfection. Thank You.
The car is flawless. Harris is back where he belongs, which means I'm a kid in a candy store. Love and appreciate what you both do. Thank you.
I could listen to Chris and Rob talk shop all day
These cars are so deserving of the praise they see. What an awesome symphony of craftmanship!
I could watch the guys of Singer and Chris talk about Porsches all day long. I love Singers. One day I'll be a customer.
Stunning and in my favourite color, dark green metallic, thank you Singer and Chris.
Prime example of cars being art.
I actually had the pleasure of meeting Chris at Goodwood last year..
Had exactly the same thought.
I'll take any opportunity to watch Chris Harris deliver content.
He's supremely qualified for it.
That was absolutely beautiful. Thank you to all involved.
The shot showing with the ocean b-roll, Italian job esque , stuff to dream about and make core memories. Thanks Chris and Singer for the 2024 equivalent of staring at your bedroom poster for hours on end
What beautiful machines, and so glad to see that Chris has the honour with this video. Thanks Singer
What an awesome 37-minute film Chris Harris. Love a Singer and your enthusiasm for the brand 🥰
The work they do at Singer is just stunning. I mean they really GET what these old Porsches were about. And they transform it into 2024. Incredible.
My.goodness.. the colour, the shapes.. incredible. Can't wait to hear it at FOS 😍
These guys are the biggest 911 geeks on the planet. I guess that's what it takes to develop and build such beautiful machines.
Was just playing this in the background and then two minutes in... "I know that voice..." The legend himself
This is the most beautiful piece of machinery I've ever seen in my entire life.
That car , in that colour is absolutely stunning !!!
I think I had a crisis when I saw the view over the rear haunches!
Wow !
That was something else. Chris complements these guys for producing a better product, id also say chris is producing even better products.
Holy Jesus. This thing is so freaking gorgeous.
Simplicity, elegance, performance art. A masterpiece! And Jesus...what a video! This is why I own a Porsche. Maybe someday I'll sell everything, live in a trailer and own a Singer!
I watch this video at least 3x a day. The colors of the cars are amazing!!!!! The two blue colors @ 1:29 are beautiful!!!!
The interiors of these are always so perfect 😩
Love it!👏😁
This was a GREAT! Revisit.....well worth the Watch.
I'm very happy driving my 280Z restomods, with everything modded.
I did it solely, for me to enjoy,Sports Car, Driving as a daily.
But ! I would have a Singer Turbo, it ,Like Porsche, has always, cared about the Sports Car DRIVER !
Saw my first Singer parked up on the street a few weeks ago. Saw it parking from a distance and had to walk over in hope it was the real thing. Sure was. What a thing of beauty. ❤
Where to start.
The love, passion and attention to detail is just amazing.
You can’t do more.
Followed singer since the early days, stoked to see where they’re at today
Just the most perfect car video. Some of the most beautiful cars in the world, Chris Harris and some personal non scripted authentic car enthusiast banter. 👌
Unicorn car. It's a perfect analogy. Saw my first DLS Singer in NZ about 8 months ago. A purple shade that I have to admit genuinely gave me goosebumps. It can only be truly appreciated in the flesh.
Oh Rob…just the singer of my favorite band ever, Catherine Wheel, and my favorite car crafter, Singer. What a legendary legacy…well done!! ❤🤘🏼
I just learned this. I also had no idea he is a cousin of Iron Maiden lead singer Bruce Dickenson.
I love the Turbo always have always will and this will be the ultimate love letter to that Turbo so many people fell in love with. Brilliant video!
Incredible reimagining of the classic 911. Good heavens it’s beautiful.
Absolutely fabulous video.I enjoyed every second of this and the cars are magnificent.Just love the turbo(masterpiece)Thankyou.
Absolute perfection......poetry that warms the soul....huge respect....🙏🙏🙏
What a company ... perfection in every way. Thanks for the video Chris!
