The way that you just can't see the impact but then once he gets going again you can see a wheel bouncing in the rear view mirror is so funny
We're pretty spoiled for racing/sim games at the moment, and the crown jewel hopefully still to come in Evo.
They did say the first year would be 23 as that’s what this is representing. Mr Hood said they’re focusing on LMU 💯 and putting rf2 on hood until this succeeds. Personally I have no desire to drive gt3 abs cars 🫤 I’d think they’d like to get the 24 GT3’s before end of year 🤷♂️ I’m hoping down the road, more historic cars, and Group C. I’d take the Porsche GT1 98Evo 98 Lemans 😊
You'll probably be waiting. Everything is hypercar and GT3 now, along with F1 and openwheel. Historic cars is more niche and not really a money maker.
'98 or '99 Le Mans would be great fun! Even 2003 with the Bentley winning 👍
more historic cars and historic le mans track versions are confirmed down the road for Automobilista 2.
Gday mike, great streams mate keep it up. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺
Good driving and glad to see some LMU coverage, with more to come. It definitely deserves it. What AI difficulty level did you race at?
Thanks for watching! AI was quite low. 90 I think.
I was pumped for this dlc but same story goes almost every time, I start the game and its buggy. I really hope the devs fix this when the game is fully finished
You need to verify the files through steam before you enter game. There’s some UA-cam videos on how to set the graphics to help
It’s sad because it’s a great game if you can get it running. It’s a shame they can’t even figure out how to keep a MENU running properly.
Hi Mike,
Late to the games but when did u add your bezel free kit? Is this the ASUS version or third party? (please specify if so!)
Thanks!
i have the 3900x and run full grid. 32 gb of ram is needed using about 23gb. and 15700 mb of video ram. i also can do 4.3 oc on cpu but i found 4.15 @ 1.23volts to be a very good oc
On my quad core CPU even one class AI occasionally breaks the physics (slowed simulation) and AI cars go back and forth every frame, and still a bit unstable with no AI. So for me there's no option other than sticking with AMS2 for endurance.
LMU needs some CPU optimization to run on normal hardware like rf2 does.
Yeah, it’s massively inefficient. I’m hoping they have a pan for that
@@SimRacing604 They do have a plan for this. Said it multiple times on their discord working to improve performance
@@colinjrblackman5333it’s the team behind rf2…. How much belief should we have for them to ever fix basic quality of life issues? The games are always great if you can get them to run and it’s usually some basic issue devs from 20 years ago collectively figured out.
@@TheKing-vb2bw maybe you can't see it but they've added a lot QOL to LMU that rf2 doesn't have because they are able to work on a fresh new base. Imagine Working rf2 that has to support mods and whatever improvements they would have added would end up breaking so many other things. Its doesn't matter to me what you think of the team. They shown me things I cared about improved from rf2.
@@colinjrblackman5333 are the menus fixed? Are they still laggy and unpredictable as to if your game froze? These weren’t even issues in rf2 (I still play this). I find it shocking at how they can make an amazing racing game but literally everything else is abysmal in quality.
All I hope is championship mode comes soon. Really want to start a WEC season, and would absolutely love to run the full race distances with driver swaps
Mike, i've noticed that you have your vertical FOV such that it generally cuts off the bottom of the wheel display; but it appears you have something like SimHub running in front of your wheel. My understanding is that LMU doesn't yet support export of all of the info on the dash? But is it enough to effectively manage all the cars' adjustable parameters?
Yes, SimHub is very functional for me at this point with LMU. There are a few timing glitches that I notice, but generally it works well to complement the game.
They should update the steam page minimum PC spec requirement for this game with realistic values, this way lot of people could avoid deception...Processor (CPU): AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D or Intel Core i9-13900KS
Graphics Card (GPU): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX
Memory (RAM): 64 GB DDR5 6000 MHz
I LOVE this game. I think it's excellent ♥️
Unfortunately I think the DLC probably will be in the $40 range if not more. Considering there are 4 new tracks, 4 new hypercars and 9 new GT3's, that's a lot of content for them to add. I'm sure it will be high quality when it comes out, but I would think it will be pricey
I suspect you’re right
Esse jogo me animou bastante, mas a otimização é algo terrível. Jogar em um laptop low end é bem dificultoso
The AI needs some work. Too aggressive at times causing some silly incidents. Them pitting right before the race end was also quite bad
As a long time rF2 junky, LMU just doesn't have the same magic. I don't know what they've done with the FFB but it's just not as good. The GTE audio is also so bad that I refuse to drive any of those cars.
At this point just going to wait until it's fully developed. The graphics need to be improved for performance, etc. I have a GTX3080 and have issues with it still running on like high with some things on medium.
I think you were drunk when you tested LMU…😂
@Foozixx I don't know why you're saying that. It really doesn't feel like rF2, it feels like they've removed some of the FFB from how rF2 feels.
And yes, the GTE audio is literally terrible. rF2 has kind of fake digital audio too, but it's still appealing. LMU audio is just bad.
And if you want the best audio in all of sim racing you need to go to RSS and VRC mods for AC. No other sim can even touch those modders for audio quality.
Wish this game would run on my setup, I meet the recommended requirements and it’s terrible lol
I have a hard time with the braking. Any tips. Thanks
What specifically is the issue you’re facing?
What helped me was putting the brake bias forward by one click on the default setup and with full fuel. With less fuel I put it even more forward. Another thing I did was pressing the brake 100% only at the start of braking and then releasing it slowly in the braking zone
@@oliwherethis is what we call trail braking, one of the basics of racing 👍
I also encountered difficulties in braking. When I brake, the rear always locks up first, and my brake bias is 56.
the brakes lock up pretty easy it seems like
where are LMP2
