I'm also still waiting for Bungie to introduce a type of sword as a heavy weapon (think similar to energy sword in Halo). Have it deal a lot of damage in each hit in exchange for the fact that you'd obviously have no range with it. Make it require a sort of energy to charge up and use it, thus the heavy ammo drops still play a part in it. Perhaps even a slight defensive boost while holding the sword to protect you long enough to get in range for the attack? Boom...problem solved, and it would add a little more diversity to things.

The Crota's end raid requires an item from XUR called the "Urn of Sacrifice" it has multiple requirements to complete and I'm guessing will take a week or so to do since Xur is only present for 48 hours....
Hey Datto, love your videos man. I just finished reading all the details on Destiny's latest patch and I love this patch. However, all I can say is that I need Hawkmoon in my life. Preferably now. So do you happen to know when all of the Playstation exclusives will become available to Xbox gamers?

I liked how he said the call outs were easy on that one map as though there's a public chat or anything going on. I know you can chat with your friends, but it's not the same. It's to quiet for something that's supposed to be a social game.
I haven't tried out the new mic system, so I don't know how well it works or when you can use it, but that stuck out to me too. Those types of comments (and even that style of map design, I would say) are noticeably lacking in the original set of maps. Not that there's really a need for call outs in what's essentially different flavors of Team Deathmatch, particularly when everyone has a radar. If they added some more interesting game modes (Heck, where is CTF?), then maybe callouts would be worthwhile.
Rc3651 Even in strikes.. Why isn't it open mic in strikes? Something that's supposed to be fully cooperative and it doesn't automatically link you with the other two people? Heck every ps4 came with a mic.
I really hope that they let us equip a second exotic armor piece.
I know if I get Radiant Dance Machines I will definatly use them with my Blade dancer and Mida. :D

I like how the map with '3 lanes' is called Pantheon. LoL refference maybe? ;)
It might be, but I was thinking of Call of Duty. 3 focused lanes is their whole deal with map design. They didn't invent it, but they used it to great effect, and it's part of what's made the series successful. You see it in a lot of FPS games, though somewhat less in Destiny.
They need to give you more space in the Vault! I only have two slots left for my Weapons, the rest if fulled with Exotics. They need to make it 40 items in each instead of 20.

my main/only worry is having to grind everything up to level again. i'm not in to having every item become obsolete after each expansion. If Exotics are to be leveled higher, let us just wear one of "max" light level. eg, i can wear one at level 30 light which i already own, but also one at 32 light.
I downloaded it but i don't know where to find Erie or how to star missions I've beaten the game and stuff I leleve 21 but I don't know what to do
So what are the new ways to hit level 30 in the dark below ?

Since the Warlock is my favorite class, I know the most about it when compared to Hunters and Titans.
With that said, a few thoughts. The Ram is exactly the type of helmet a Warlock needs. Couldn't tell you the number of times I've self-revived only to be killed again immediately after, There was no time to escape the mobs before being killed again, so that stun will be amazing. With regards to the Starfire Protocol armor, it gives you an extra fusion grenade. Well, the Gift of the Sun ability for Sunsinger gives you an additional grenade of any kind. So if I am wearing this armor, and am using Fusion Grenade along with Gift of the Sun, I'm wondering...would I then have 3 fusion grenades to throw at a time? That would simply be amazing.
Will the exotics and raid be level 30+ only?

So wait warlocks could have three grenades if they use fusions? or you can also get two melee charges? wow! Warlocks just keep getting better and better, I love them. I really hope they make some new and interesting legendary gear because that's the issue im finding that other then raid gear there isn't much that is better.
Only fusion grenades blow monster cock for anything that isnt pvp
That can wipe a wizards shield in nightfall in one hit. That's good, plus if you stick things they deal double the damage of the other two grenades. Not the best for mob packs but for high level single targets and pvp they rock.

Will we have to farm all our exotics again then? Because damage has increased on all the guns (can we upgrade them further?) and same with our exotic armour? Can we upgrade everything further on the trees?
Idk about the weapons but you can use these shard kinda things to rase the light level on exotics

Just taking a stab at this but I'm going to assume that in the top right corner the roman numeral I stands for the first expansion because bungie does number the expansions by roman numerals.
I like how gear for raids seem to be focused on being the best gear for the next raid. EX mythoclast is fire damage which will destroy the hive.

Its fire. The Wizards and wiches are fire sheilded. The knights are arc but they most likely wont have sheilds.

D: dang thanks man, I suck at remembering types of damage! I REALLY hope Krota/Fallen boss/Cabal boss and etc aren't just Captains or knights with different colors and oversized, in comparison to the other minibosses. From te trend I'm seeing, Bungie will probably get lazy with character uniqueness... again.

So I'm paying $20 for more lackluster story, an RNG filled raid (done the VoG 18 times on hard, no Mythoclast), 3 more shotgun and fusion rifle clusterfucks, and a few more pieces of armor I assume Xur will never sell because of his Sunbreaker and Voidfang fetish. Sounds good. I can't wait to find a way to push Crota off a ledge somewhere and get ascendant materials as a drop.
Hey there was recently an update and now i need to upgrade my exotic chest plate with an exotic shard any idea on how to get one?
buy them from Xur for 7 coins or dismantle unwanted exotics.
New upgrade material which is used to upgrade the last upgrade in your exotic item, and is obtained from Xür or by dismantling an exotic item

armamentarium is a better titan exotic, and if you have no interest in a titan I'd say dismantle them.

This is all fine and dandy, but how about an expansion on my vault inventory? Mine has been full for a couple weeks now and so is all 3 characters inventory.

That's not arc, it's void. It's just the lighting that makes it look brighter. The 3rd subclasses are NOT going to be in this DLC.

I think that Crota's End weapons are going to outclass VoG weapons. That's pretty much just a guess though.
And with every bit of Information I'm hearing I'm a little sadder because I play on PC only. :(

Thank God we can upgrade our current exotics, I'm rather disappointed with the new batch. The only ones I really want are Glass House (Titan helm) and Obsidian Mind (Warlock helm), the 347 Vesta (scout rifle) is a maybe... Are we going to be able to upgrade our legendary gear/weapons as well, or just exotics?
Something tells me that they'll have new Legendary gear that you'll have to find and then upgrade, if only to extend the grind. All speculation on my part though.
Think there's a fusion rifle coming out that has a choice of elements on it, i.e you can change between two of the three element types.
wow so everyone who is stuck at 29 right now and feel excluded from HM VoG because many of the LFG posst say 30 only are really going to be excluded in the next raid. HM is going to be 32 only for sure with the raid being 33.

Well that's just fantastic. I suppose now I have no choice but to run VoG on hard now because even with the Iron Banner equips I can't hit lvl 30 doing just Crucible. Happy days, Bungie. Happy days.
You won't have to run VoG on Hard to get to level 30 anymore. There are new ways in the expansion to get there so don't stress out about it. :)

probably not, that would e just too over the top because if you fully upgrade it it would give you about 42 light which is level 34, since i light level is about 10 light, and the level cap will be 32, so my guess is that they will give about 22 light (non-upgraded, because the current raid gear gives you 18 and you can level up to 30), and at fully maxed about 35 light which is 20 in total so you would be level 32
6000uzima Nah, you're assuming that these Exotics will still get you +12 when you fully max it. Also, you're assuming that the light level will be +10, but Light levels have been shown to vary. 20-21 is +20 light, while level 22 is +12, but level 23 and 24 are +11 each. However, there is a pattern and the last 5 levels each cost 11 light each.
However, 22/4 armour pieces=5.5 light each, which will not happen because Destiny does not deal with decimal values. My guess would be AT LEAST 24 extra light will be required(6 extra light per armour piece) to reach level 32.

People will still run it for farming.
I think its pretty nice that bungie made the normal mode lvl30 so people will still need to play VoG before going into the new raid.
