- SPOILERS. If you want to see nothing of the raid, DO NOT WATCH. This kill came at 1:43pm, December 9th, 2014. This is the third and fourth part of Crota's End, the new raid that comes with The Dark Below. The third and fourth parts involves killing Ir Yut, summoning Crota yourselves and destroying him. Guides for Crota's End will be coming next week. Enjoy.

Pro tip for Defender Titans: activating Ward of Dawn(aka bubble shield) will regen your health, so if you start taking heavy damage during the boss fight and he chalice is far away, use your bubble to regen health.

I really enjoyed hearing the communication at the end. Great example of how a Raid team should coordinate. I need to find a team like you guys lol. I always find people who are afraid to talk or are those "I know what to do, just shut up and follow my way" and those "If you don't have this gun and that gun, it's impossible" smhh -_-

Congratulations Datto!!!! Amazing work you and your group did! It was amazing to watch :D Me and my group got to the end, but we don't have a 31 to wield the sword. I got two pieces of gear but don't have the shards to upgrade them :( By the way, you should do a Solo the Nightfall ;) (kidding, that'd be hard as BALLS)

Great job everyone this raids the most challenging that I've tried only get up to the bridge part an its crazy now this can't wait
After 11 hours and half a dozen team mate swaps, Crota finally fell at my hands... The accomplishment was real.

When watching these it makes me wonder why they never use their secondary
In the crystal room we jumped up on the ledges above the spawning doors to help finish off all the trash after Ir Yut was dead (before starting Crota). Just made sure anything that could shoot us went down first. Much less stress.
Stealthy bladedancer should be your choice for quick and successful crota because bladedancer can go invis and jump the platform before crotas shield is down allowing to maximize DPS on the boss. You can do full 3 combos in 1 go with this strategy everytime. Weapon upgrades should be +2 character agility as it allows for higher movement speed and jumps.

I got that Exotic No Land Beyond sniper rifle in a DLC Clash match reward. It does have a perk to upgrade reloading it, which maxes reloading out. I'm hesitant to scrap it for a shard, as I already have 5. Wondered what you or others are doing, if you've gotten this exotic as well.

I haven't attempted the new raid yet. At 15:32, does "See you at The Reef" mean the raid for House of Wolves DLC? Or is it something related to this raid?

datto i think you might want to try out the SUROS Regime while fighting Crota because of the SUROS Regime Upgrade witch has a chance to give back health (also can start shield regeneration) im not sure if it works on the crota fight but i thought it would be valuable to see if it works normally while battling crota...
i think that Red Dead is better for that....... it just heal you every time you kill someone... :)

its better to r1 because r2 take to much time you would only get like 2 or 3 hits
twelve pandas R1 R1 R2 does a three hit combo. Then you can R1 R1 R2 again. But there's a slight pause. If you want to practice, you can go to the Sword of Crota mission on the Moon and put it to 30, that's what I did and it ended up working out for me :)
I just spam R2 and it works out for me, the first time I tried doing R1 he didn't flinch at all and I died
from what i barely see, i think it's only R2 R2...

For xbox controls, I use RB,RB,RT,RB,RB. The third swing does an uppercut if you did it correctly.
On PS I think this is R2,R2,R1,R2,R2. The uppercut is the same speed as a regular swipe, but does about 85% damage as a ground smash ;)
At the end it says "see you at the reef" why the reef i think he meant the tower

Xur is selling DLC exotics for Titan, he's selling 12 exotic weapon upgrades including for the armamentarium, and he's selling an exotic helmet Engram! Isn't this the best week yet for DLC holders?
safe to say ill be keeping my crota checkpoint every reset seeing as you get nothing for defeating the deathsinger

At the end you don't regen health, that's part of why the Chalice is there. I was using Red Death so I could regen health, some others were using SUROS.

they only put in three loot checkpoints for a reason the only way theyll change that is if people are still having trouble beating the raid after a month or two

If you do the tunnel of Thralls and shriekers fast enough, at the end of the hall is a chest. The door slowly closes after a certain point. Have a hunter run through, getting to the door asap. Kill the shriekers as they can stop the Guardian from continuing with boundaries. Once in, if the hunter gets there, he can open the door by simply facing the door and bringing out his ghost. It will allow everyone else to get the chest as well. I believe it to be a material chest.

Where can I find a Titan that can survive solo that long to bring everyone back.
If this was your first run and you have never played it before, how did you guys know what to do with the Wizards and Shreikers?
And this wasn't their first. They did their first off stream so no one else could learn from what they figured out.
They learn. They go in and grind it out and figure out stuff so other people just get to watch them and go in and do it with some knowledge. That's why there's so much "honor," I'd guess you'd say in being some of the first in the world to beat it.
Yeah I noticed at the end it wasn't the first. So I'm guessing the played it before but didn't beat it but learned the mechanics of the fights. Then came back and beat it. Either way pretty good beating it third in the world. Congrats
