It's good to see that video's that are helpful to us are being uploaded and I it should not be applicable to only the dancers but everybody to stay fit. Keep up your good work
Loved the initiative and clarity of instructions. Kudos! We're all under lockdown the world over. Working out at home gets tedious. Dance based workouts are the best to stay in shape and is extremely essential among all dancers ofcourse. Thank you 😊🙏
Thanks a lot for your encouragement and feedback! Well said! I think dancing and anything related to dance keeps us sane during times like this.. If there is anything specific you expect in upcoming videos, do let me know.. I will be happy to make one :)
All these are junior level portions I used to do every day. But I liked your explanations and neat presentation. Very good Mam to watch it. Thanks a lot for this video

Hi Pratibha, Great job on videos👍👍I absolutely loved it. I am going to practice from today. But I have few doubts in the tada kriya series. 1] Do I need to hold the pelvis for all the tada kriyas or only the first one? 2] Does Inhalation and exhalation has to go inflow with the hand movements? Thanks in advance
Thanks! 1>Yes, tucking pelvis helps to hold the spine straight and core tight. 2>As a rule of thumb, you inhale when you need to open the chest and exhale when you come back to neutral. In exercises where you hold the stretch, it is recommended to exhale to elongate and relax the muscles. That being said, you could also breathe normally (without holding breath) while doing any exercise.
You must warm up before any physical activity. Be it your workout or dance practice :) I have made more warm up videos. See what suits your requirement. ua-cam.com/video/ph2agl0Rii8/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/Rj5YX7K43R4/v-deo.html

I m a new subscriber, videos are very informative, I started learning bharatnatyam at the age of 36,it's my third year now.just a query cardio should be done before or after these kriyas?
It is a must to do warm up and cool down before and after any dance practice/workout respectively. If you workout/dance in the evening, then yes, you could do the warm up before that. I suggest that you give a gap of half an hour to one hour between your snack and workout. And keep the snack light.
No. Warm up is different from cool down. Find cool down here : ua-cam.com/video/cDw--Fjvl2Y/v-deo.html Alternate warm up here : ua-cam.com/video/Rj5YX7K43R4/v-deo.html
I'm 20yrs old and have been dancing since an early age but suddenly my body is becoming heavy..do u think I'll be able to regain my position back through these exercises?..if yes then plz mention how many times a day should I practice these.
It is a must to do warm up and cool down before and after any dance practice/workout respectively. The strengthening and conditioning exercises should become part of your training regime. This could be in the morning or evening according to your convenience. I have made videos for strengthening the body parts we use while dancing. Do check them out. I recommend that you do yoga at least twice a week. Check the following video. ua-cam.com/video/t0FBzJQ3zo0/v-deo.html So your training regime should consist of 10-20-10 mins of warm up, workout, cool down respectively. This is apart from your dance practice. If you religiously dedicate this much time for workouts and dance practice, you will surely be in a better position to dance :) Hope I answered your question :)
