Got to admit, I’m old school and like the chrome blacking out all the trim was definitely the right choice. Looks awesome Chris, can’t wait for the next video !!!
It's nice being able to take apart trim pieces with a screwdriver or socket as opposed to a newer vehicle. Prying on everything and hoping nothing breaks
Mr sullivan. You are amazing i have watched your vids. On several cars. I love your work ethic. N that you pay. attenion. To every little detail. Great job brother. Awsome. Channel
Love the 69 Camaro build. I've sent the videos on the build to my brother who owns a 69 RS. He bought the car new and has done some minor restoration on the car over the years. The car looks like it's brand new to this day. Hopefully he will like and subscribe to your channel. Thanks, really enjoy your content.
Like always bro. You always seems to amaze me with your first time trying it out hunger to get her done. The love passion you have for your cars is something out of this world thats why i love your channel BIG UPS TO YOU. 💯
Now you have a day time only car with tinting the wind shield. BUT it looks good till you have to drive it or have the boss drive it. Keep up the great work. ✌️
Great Job. Great choices for pro-touring car. I would suggest one change. Go with the bullet style door mirrors, found on second gen Camaros. Also, paint them to color match car. They look great on 1st gen Camaro.
Looks Great!! If you plan on driving at night Make sure you update your headlights> Can't see JACK out of my tinted windshield at night! 1995 Dodge Ram
Chris , awesome job on my favorite car of all time ! I remember when the '69 Camaro's were introduced , I saw nothing but billboards everywhere "The Hugger ' Orange with the black hockey stripe was my favorite. You are a true craftsman ! Kudo's to you Buddy !
@@ChrisSullivan69 as much as ls kicks ass. small block still kicks its ass my older brother with his 1969 camaro which was v8 swapped with a 350 from 1970 before he got the car. used to dogwalk these ls1 bastards all day in the early 2000s ss camaros even ones with cams and everything course my bro put a better cam in his and a few other things but yes.
Looks awesome! You now have me wanting to do the same with my 67 RS/SS Vert, but being triple black (with the white nose stripe), I'm not sure it would look right. Alway, I have to tell you, I respect the hell out of your work ethic... I don't know how you have the constant drive to continuously keep moving forward with so many projects. I get tired just watching you! Much respect!
Awsome video man! My dad has a real 1969 Z/28 original camaro that is paint code 57 which is fathom green and he also has a 1969 convertible camaro that is rs converted, he's owned both cars for 30+ years and whats so cool to me is seeing the little spots of original paint left. Such as in the underside of the truck I can see some red still which is just cool. I checked the stamp and it was paint code 52 which is garnet red, both of my dads camaros were made in the same factory, Norwood Ohio. So maybe these cars saw each other in the production line lol. Awsome video man, I will be using your video to replace the windshield on the z/28 because it has a few chips. Awesome job man!
I really like your videos/channel. You do great work. Pretty cool that you do most everything by yourself in your garage. A true D.I.Y. guy. I can totally relate. Love the cars that you work on too. The black Vette sounds nasty!
I have been impressed with your work ethic skills and abilities, but this video just blew me away. I’ve got to tell you I held my breath while you were doing those windows I was a nervous wreck. You are truly one in a million congratulations job well done!
That’s one sweet looking ride! I’ve looked for many years for a 69 that was worth building and gave up and ordered a Corvette back in 2014 which since then I’ve done many upgrades to. She is my barn queen only putting 32K on her since delivery. The only thing that would have looked better would have been to flush fit the front and rear windshield’s like they do at Kendigit shop. Still one fine ride!
Just found your channel when you were working on your '04 Terminator. I am a big Mustang fanatic and wanted to say that New Edge is awesome. What a great find!! I have a modified '14 5.0 and all I do on UA-cam is watch Mustang content. I am not a big Chevy guy but your Camaro is really nice as well. Awesome job on her. You just got a new subscriber. Cheers from Vancouver B.C. Canada 🤘😆🤘
I installed auto glass from 1975 until 1981... You were extremely lucky in getting out the windshield without breaking it.. There is a NO warranty on Breakage of used glass at ANY glass shop in the USA...... The tempered Back Glass is usually no problem..... Carry on ......
Great freakin job man! Outstanding attention to detail. Looking forward to more videos of that beast. And, as you know by now, our Celtics WON game 7 of that series!
I was just rewatching this video to see how I remove the chrome trim lol. Whats cool is that your Camaro was made in Norwood, Ohio and so was ours. So essentially, our camaros met at one point in 1969.
Great Job ..... like you normally do! Boston is down 0-2 and I hope the Heat completes the sweep of the Celtics. If the Lakers can't win #18, I surely don't want to Celtics to win #18.Keep up the GREAT work! GO HEAT!
Another top notch video! One of the only you tubers I watch, that I make sure to try and watch all of the adds because you deserve more subs. So until then I'll do my part by watching these terrible adds. 😅
Just a tip. I realize this shouldn't be a big deal since this car will mostly be in your garage when you aren't in it, and it was only door lock keys and not ignition keys, but you still don't want to ever show your keys on film. People can make copies from just that. Just a good habit to get into of never showing keys so you don't ever accidentally show something important.
You need to throw that XYG windshield away… find you a PGW brand… Chinese glass in an American hot rod ain’t cool. Great job not breaking the w/s or back glass… not bad for your first time.. you do possess some amazing skills…
Freaking love this channel. Great taste and on top a celtics fan!!!!!!!! Still a little salty though he sacrificed a 5th gen for the ls3. #5thgenempire

Chris, I really enjoy that you're not afraid to do stuff that you have not already done! You're killing it on every build!
Its amazing how the seemingly small thing make the biggest difference. Car looks great, perfect color combination
An underrated channel. I enjoy watching you calmly solve problems
It's nice being able to take apart trim pieces with a screwdriver or socket as opposed to a newer vehicle. Prying on everything and hoping nothing breaks
Was a police officer in norwood from 2015-2018. Lots of cool stories about the GM plant!
Amazing how something most people overlook (like window trim) can totally transform the look. Killer job Chris!
As always your attention to detail is impeccable, and your builds come out beautiful. Great work

Great job getting that glass out Chris. I cracked the 💩 out of my front windshield in my 67Camaro trying to get it out.
Now you have a day time only car with tinting the wind shield. BUT it looks good till you have to drive it or have the boss drive it.

I just posted the same thing regarding his work ethic, lol!
Looks great man, you pulled it off. Now we would love if you got a 5th or 6th gen Camaro
Love the paused reaction, looks good
Every time you spray something at home it turns out super good👌🏻 69 is looking mean, killer job 🤜🏻🤛🏻 🤘🏻

Damn does that look good!!! Love how you never cut corners and it always shows. Black wheels next??!!
Waiting to see this on the road, live down the road a few miles.

Beautiful piece of machinery....
Cant wait to see what wheels you go with!
Great freakin job man! Outstanding attention to detail. Looking forward to more videos of that beast. And, as you know by now, our Celtics WON game 7 of that series!

It’s horrible to watch.. never seen them so unprepared
Two thumbs up, great work man. The things dreams are made of.

Chris this is such a killer video! The car looks great but now I think it is time for a new set of rims. Can’t wait for the next one
Nice job. Louvers would look good black.
Wicked car and still my favourite, although I'm looking at an 06 C6 Z06 at the weekend. 🇬🇧
Chris a lot of us use 2nd Gen mirrors on our 1st Gens. It just works.
Looks absolutely gorgeous

Have you thought about doing flush mount glass and getting rid of all the trim on the front and back? It looks super clean.
I have. Not interested in the 100s of hours of metal work, paint and body required to do that at the moment. Maybe next car lol
Looks great, If you ever need to replace the glass , Fesler glass is trim less and requires no body work.
It would have been nice to black that rear view mirror also. Awesome channel keep up the great work.
I did lol. Forgot to film it. Was staring at that chrome thing with the windshield out and was like "welp, good time to paint that"
@@ChrisSullivan69 nice. Great channel man. Love all the tasteful mods. Great work keep up the great work.
Clean Work, looks amazing. 🏁🔥👍
LOOKS GREAT CHRIS
Chris, adjust the drivers side wiper arm up just a tad. When you’re driving the car it could come down and hit the freshly powder coated trim.
Your vids are so great dude, impeccable taste. Tough C’s game tonight tho
Gloss black wheels would make it look very nice.
Some kinda blacked out cover to grill the speakers in the back window would look nice.
Man knowing you, you’re probably puttin some high end wheels on it later on and I can’t wait to see it
Nice job on cutting it out, I cracked the one on my 72 camaro trying to cut them
Looks mean as hell. Nice work.
Dude!!! Very nice job!!! Love it!!!
Looks amazing sir!
