This is one of those epic builds you may notice at a show from distance….nice OBS Ford, rare crew cab…nice stance and paint. The closer you get, as you take in more and more details….big and small…the amount work skill is just amazing.

He said the English and Italians can not make cars and must have been drunk when they designed a car. Germans were good and over engineered their cars. But in any case he passed away in 1989 and I miss that man a lot. He had 4 trades to his name and could do anything and do it well. I'd agree with this truck going to SEMA it's a 1 of a kind build and it ain't clapped I wish I could see it in person I have a feeling that cameras don't do justice to the detail on this truck
I was telling my 66 year old father and proud life long trucker about this truck and he says…….why the hell would he use a 3126, that’s not much of a motor? 🤣 I bet it feels like way more of a motor in a f350 than it does in semi trucks! Love this build brother 👍

I had a 93 Ford F250, with a 7.3 diesel. It was the best truck I ever owned. Only wish I had the shop, time, money and knowledge to do something like that. Bravo Zulu!
This guy is the "BOMB" Mechanic knowing all facets of the build like each was his specialty. He does it like an excited teenager on his first car. Truly amazing, maybe the best UA-cam video I have seen.
The absolute amount of over-engineering/re-rigging to make everything fit together and work the way you made it is just amazing. Even upgrading the internal trim and especially the LCD instrument panel. Just Minty all around

A friend's dad watched this , he's a retired Millwright, and he said "That guy would be the best guy in the shop, he can do almost everything, he's smart and got a big shop full of tools and anything you'd need. He has money for any parts, right away. If you tried the same thing it would take you forever."

It's a franken truck, nothing on it is original now. An amazing amount of work put into it. I would bet most people don't realize just how much went into this truck. Very nice work, easy to see the passion put into it.
Definitely a “frankentruck” . No disrespect , but why update the dash , seats , etc . And keep the original door panels . Updating the door panels would’ve been the cherry on top !. My ocd couldn’t handle that interior but the build is amazing mechanically !

However, after 27:22 of my time I was left to sit and think...I try everyday to work on my own stuff, being resourceful and reusing stuff when i can, buying new when i can. For years I wanted a F-250 Super Duty crew cab, 4wd, converted to hydrogen fuel cell technology. No longer. Now it is this truck. My daughter has one still with the 7.3L Diesel but I want the Edison/DeBoss Caterpillar conversion! Thanks Rich! Cheers from Texas.
I can remember our job site mechanic, he was a genius! He had a 1986 (I think) Ford F250 and he did this Cat swap one summer. It was really a good toy for him he spent a lot of time on that rig, it was nice!

My father was a Field Service mechanic for a CAT dealership and traveled across 3 states supporting CAT customers for 35 years in field trucks powered by CAT 3208s his favorite motor. One of his favorite engine swaps he found out about was a 3208 swapped into a F350 back in the 80s I think it was featured in Popular Mechanics…

Absolutely phenomenal build! And I'm not even a big fan of diesels. The only thing I would've done differently is to get rid of the automatic locking hubs and swap them for manual locking hubs.

IF I were to try this, I would probably be 6 to 9 MONTHS into the build and wondering IF I would ever get the wiring completed!
